solid3: See what a white man tweeted about Nigerian police "The Nigerian police are so friendly. We were pulled over twice in the last 10mins just because they wanted to wish us happy weekend. "
Maybe that's what his driver told him. Didn't want to bother him with the details that when policemen wish you "happy weekend", they are indirectly saying you should give them money for weekend.

I think you're an African player.
Then you're Samuel Eto'o fils.
Emmenyk: I'm from Isuikwuato and I've visited the site, it's just as stated, so forget about Sahara Bullsh*t and their lies talking about proximity to the rail station, it's not a problem, only what needs to be done is to reconstruct the link road, and I think it is strategically placed; not too far from Enugu-Port Harcourt express road, and not too far from Ovum rail station
You mean Ovim right.
Yeah, you're right the factory is strategically placed. Onuaku is in the epicentre, linking straight to Afikpo Ebonyi state, it also links straight to Acha then link to Ovim and Uzoakoli, it also links straight to Okigwe. And from Okigwe you are linked to the rest of Nigeria. (you can follow Enugu express to Kogi and the North, you can link to Imo, Anambra then Lagos, you can go to Umuahia then to PH etc.) Nna ehn... ILoveUturu.
Most of you here judging the veracity of the story don't get it at all.
There is a MORAL LESSON in the story. It has nothing to do with whether it is fictitious or real. (just like every other fairy tale).
Get the MORAL of the story. "Minimise your use of locks and security on your phones and gadgets".
I personally think you should use locks only when and where it is "absolutely" necessary. Some people just use pattern locks because they see everyone else using it so they think it looks cool or techy.
I don't use security locks in any of my devices; phones, laptop etc. I am still trying to convince myself since the past SEVEN YEARS to use it.
girl4rmspace: So a friend of mine showed me this movie script which i thought was very good. He wanted me to co-produce the movie with him and a few other people.
I had no problems with that because i loved the script, but then it dawned on me that its actually a SCI FI movie!! Yeah sci fi, he knows i love sci fi but how in god's name do we pull this off without it looking mediocre due to poor naija tech?
Apart from that, the sci fi genre itself is some of the most expensive type of movie to make and correct me if am wrong, naija barely has any sci fi movies right?
He's convinced that it could work but am not so sure, please if you know any good naija sci fi movies, Help me list them so i could watch them all and see just how good the cgi's were.
Lastly... Do you think a movie like this would work in naija? With limited funds and tech which he somehow believes could work? Should i really go on with this? Need some advice
I don't even know where to start sef...
Anyway, I respect your decision. Chill for now and tell your friends to chill too. But don't be discouraged. (na one day pikin go walk). I keep saying that we will get there one day. The techniques involved in making a good movie is not a "classified top secret", it is available to the public, so why not?
Just to mention sha, not all sci-fi movies require such a huge budget (it depends on the type of sci-fi story).
Nigeria has had some attempts at sci-fi and movies with heavy visual effects in the past, although poorly made, the newer outcomes look a little bit promising. But just because no one has tried something is not reason enough not to try it. What happens to being a trend setter or pioneer?
