You all know the United States would never allow substandard PMS into their country. We have to commend Dangote; this might just be the biggest refined product Nigeria will be exporting. Correct me if I’m wrong.

That said, when will NNPCL begin exporting to our neighbors in Benin Republic?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaatasha!
NUPENG will never allow that to happen . NUPENG members have to determine if NNPC is qualified to export petrol

May their souls rest in peace. We need to be very careful with inverters. In 2007 in Abuja, at a Plaza in Area 7, that was how inverter batteries burst into fire. It was an ISP, those on duty tamed the fire. Also, highly inflammable products should not be allowed close to inverter batteries array. The Circuit breakers and switches should be original and of high quality.

I said KANU should be given a conducive private room at National Hospital.

Nigeria's situation is tricky. During JONATHAN Government, Senator Ali Ndume was against the use of force against Boko Haram. He said Boko Haram should be treated like Niger Delta militants and be giving Amnesty and other incentives given to Niger Delta militants .

There is a need to classify 1. Niger Delta Militants 2. IPOB 3. Bandits.

It is until the classification is done before we can know what to say.

All the roads from Lagos to the South South, South east and North are 60% un motorable these new roads is a waste of resources.
In 2014 Lagos to Ibadan Expressway was a jungle and nightmare. Sagamu to Ore was nightmare when Jonathan decided to construct the Lagos Calabar Coastal Railway line. If he had started that time would that have also be a wasted resources?

We cannot be stagnated forever. Globally, Coastal Highway creates new economic opportunities. The rate of return on investment is very good.

Starting from Irokun, en route Agerige down to Oke ipare, all 63 kilometers of the road passes through Ondo State 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Thank you Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU
@officialABAT , Ondo state is grateful
This Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway project is a very courageous project. It requires greater courage than the courage required to remove oil subsidy. This is a project of lifetime. About seven years ago When DANGOTE said the Refinery project is his lifetime project, I never knew the meaning that time, but now I understand.

With all due respect to Goodluck Jonathan, looking at the complexity of this project and the terrain with dredging, sandfilling, pilling, bridges, etc and the budget politics at the
National Assembly , I don't know how Jonathan would have been able to start the Lagos Calabar Coastal Railway project as planned if he had won 2015 election. Buhari went through the project documents and abandoned it for Kano Maradi project.

The courage to tame the Atlantic Ocean from submerging Victoria Island, Lekki and Ajah was a great courage but Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway project is greater.

I salute the courage of TINUBU and the determination of UMAHI on this project.

Alternatively, the names of key bandits commanders should be forwarded to Niger Delta EX Militant leaders for meetings on how to bring peace to North. I believe the bandits commanders would open up on their grievances and the way forward.

I know something spiritual must have taken place in the room by a ritualistic people. I wanted to change to another suite the available one was expensive.

I decided to remove the bedsheets. I lifted up the very heavy mattress up beside the wall. Then I saw something wrapped up in White Clothes. I lifted it. I didn't unwrap it because it was stained. I called the duty manager. He collected it. He said he knows the man that left the room. He is their regular customer. Definitely, the man must have used the White Clothes to clean someone body.

Is the Federal Government stopping those ports from working? Why is Onne Port working? This issue have been explained severally but ignorance and bitterness did not allow people to accept logic.

The alternative of giving Lagos an independent as country is welcome so goods shipped to other countries would arrive at those countries ports. Mind you, even if Lagos ports are closed, 80% of Nigeria Cargoes would be discharged at Lome and Cotonou ports.
Crime › Re: Fishermen Or Thieves At Apapa Port? (Pictures) by professorPABX: 8:13am On Sep 12, 2025
Most of those fishermen are thieves and sea pirates. Navy boys that have worked with patrol boats know this. Especially those with outboard engine as backup to paddling.

They aid smuggling at ports and sea. At Onne axis and some areas, some notorious ones among them are nicknamed 'alarmblow'. They are the ones that graduated into using Canoe for water transportation. They ferry girls, goods and people to Ships at sea and those ships on anchorage at sea and those that berth. That area is another sector entirely.

Sea is very wide. They aid a lot of stealing and atrocities being committed at sea, they also play vital important safety and commercial purposes on Marine ecosystem services and marine economics.

If I want to ship something to and from Nigeria, I can choose the route and the port I want it delivered to. That is what a lot of importers are doing. If I am an importer, I am shipping to the port with the most people. It’s business, not sentiments. Guaranteed my goods will move and sell faster. That way, Ships will also consider if it is worth it allocating a whole ship to deliver 5-10 containers. Wasting salary, fuel and resources. They will cancel that route and only provide a route where 10,000 containers are going. It is just business for them as well. So, you see, it is business people making these decisions, not government. If you like build 1000 ports, if the market is In Lagos, things will remain the same.
Thanks. My friends have gone to Lome Port severally to clear goods some years ago. They have gone to Cotonou, they have even gone as as far as Tema port in Ghana to clear goods some years ago.

Also in US, they want to move items from a particular place to Nigeria, the port at that location doesn't have Shipping Lines to Nigeria except the goods are moved to another port with Shipping Lines to Cote D'Ivoire, Tema, Lome up to Lagos.

If Federal Government close all the Seaport in Lagos for VDM to develop his town, the Shipping Lines or Agencies will discharge about 80% of Nigeria Cargoes in Togo or Cotonou

TRUTH IS VDM ACTUALLY WANT NIGERIA TO DEVELOP, FOR SO LONG WE HAVE BEEN HELD HOSTAGE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY.

WE HAVE OIL BUT REFINERY WERE NEVER ALLOWED TO WORK.

WE HAVE SEA BUT WERE NEVER ALLOWED DEEPSEAPORT ASIDE LAGOS./

WE HAVE MASSIVE LANDMASS BUT HAVE TO TRAVEL VIA LAGOS MMA.

TRADERS WILL COME T LAGOS TO CARRY THEIR GOODS TO KANO AND CROSS RIVER BORNO. AND BENUE.
He doesn't want Nigeria to develop. It is societal decay that created Social Media entertainers as later day activists. It is just like some nairaland moderators bias and uncoordinated control of intelligent topics.

All these things you wrote above doesn't make any meaning. In US and other developed countries there are Seaports with Ships that don't come to Lagos. You have to move your cargoes to Seaport that have Shipping Lines that come to Lagos, alternatively, you go to Tema or Lome or Cotonou ports to clear your goods and bring to Nigeria. In developed countries, there are international flights that are not even available in some Airports, you have to get those Airports.

If your Social media later day activists wanted to talk about refineries not working and land mass for Agriculture what concerns a Coastal City , the ECOWAS economic hub carrying much burden with that? Will the Emirates in UAE putting blame on Dubai for not allowing them thrive economically. Bye

VDM has a sinister motive with his video, but it is widely known that it is expensive to clear goods from Onne port compared to Lagos ports. Onne to me only makes sense if it is for export, rather than for imports. That said, the two major reasons Lagos ports get patronage are:
- Population.
- Two of Nigeria's major non-oil exports cocoa and cashews are mostly grown in the south west. So both imports and exports will have to go through Lagos ports. Non-oil products from the north west will as well go through Lagos ports. If ports in the Eastern region (including a proposed Gelelege Port in Edo) are to thrive, political elites from the region, north central and north east have to ensure success.

Nigeria needs functioning ports to thrive across the country for the nation's economy to be diversified.
I didn't read your post but just observed you talk about Seaport like majority of people on this topic do out of ignorance, bitterness and for propaganda.

Country cannot force Ships to deliver cargoes to ports that are not on their routes. Maersk is at Onne Port. Ships move cargoes to and from Onne Port. Some people asked questions why DANGOTE use Lome Port during Refinery project when Lagos doesn't have the capacity to receive the 150,000 containers, they said why not Warri others mentioned Portharcourt (Abonema or Onne).

I don't want to delve into technicalities. Intel Logistics and other private investors are driving Badagry Deep Seaport. Tolaram group and others private investors created Lekki Deep Seaport. DANGOTE has announced his intention to establish a deep seaport in Ogun State. AkwaIbom governor should let us know the Private investors that are driving the IBOM Deep Seaport. Before 2023 election battle, ATIKU was always talking about the progress being made at Badagry Seaport because of Intel Logistics. Politics came and nothing heard again. We need to know those investors driving IBOM Deep Seaport.

Calabar is very close to ECCAS - Economic Community of Central Africa States countries.
ECOWAS with Lagos as the economic hub is close to Cotonou ports, Lome Port, Tema and Takoradi ports in Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire port, Senegal port.

I live in Abuja during Abacha era and very close to the seat of power. Late Abdulkarim Adisa said he was not Minister of Lagos Affairs. They said Lagos would die. simply start funding lagos yourself.
Lagos can fund itself. Nigeria is exploiting Lagos and making Lagos a dumping ground. Lagos is not getting up to 10% of her contributions to Nigeria. If Lagos were to be Dubai that is just one of the Emirates in UAE Lagos would have been the first economy in Africa.

A Colony is part of Britain existing on foreign land. The British made Lagos a Colony for economic dynamics and reasons. In fact, they came to Lagos with Ships (Heavily Armed NAVY) and forced the Eleko (the traditional ruler of Lagos Island - Eko) to sign a treaty .

In Africa Union, ECOWAS is the most economically dynamic bloc, after the Southern Africa economic bloc. The ECCAS - Economic Community of Central Africa States with Cameron, Gabon, etc are not that dynamically buoyant. Lagos is the economic hub of ECOWAS. The Ports of Lagos, Cotonou, Lome Port, Ghana Port, Cote D'Ivoire port, Senegal port are very operational and interlink to Shipping agencies.

VDM is a Character created by Nigeria. Societal decay has led Nigeria into era of Social Media entertainers called later day activists.

It takes High Intellect and Spiritual consciousness to know that Triangular Forces of the Sun, the Moon and the Stars control the universe. That is why Israeli Flag is Two Triangles (Solomon Seal). Lagos has three Physical and Spiritual International Boundaries - the Sea, the Air and the Land representing the Water, Fire and Air . Lagos hosted two Waters, the Oceans and the Lagoon.

The Prosperity of Lagos was sealed about 100 years ago with meetings with the Angels by Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase the founder of Cherubim and Seraphim at the Beach and revalidated unknowingly by Baba Adeboye in 1998 at Lekki 98 Congress. Lagos must prosper. Nigeria as a nation is greatly hindering the potential and prosperity of Lagos

Nigeria is exploiting Lagos.

Social commentator Verydarkman criticized the concentration of opportunities and development in Lagos, arguing that it is stifling growth in other parts of Nigeria.

He questioned why nearly everything must be centered in Lagos while the rest of the country struggles
What are the things concentrated in Lagos? Nigeria is exploiting Lagos. If Lagos were to be Dubai, it must have become the first economy in Africa. Nigeria is using Lagos as a Cashcow and dumping ground.

The Port of Lagos, Apapa Quays have been in existence before Nigeria came into existence.

You cannot force Private investors to locate their investment in places not suitable for them.

Badagry Port was being sponsored by Intel Logistics and others .
Lekki Deep Seaport was sponsored by Tolaram group and others.

DANGOTE is planning to site a modern deep seaport in Ogun State. You cannot force him to locate his investment elsewhere.

You cannot force International Shipping Lines about about their routes.

The Loan Apps are very fraudulent, very fraudulent and that is why FCCPC, NITDA, NCC, EFCC and Attorney General of the Federation must act now before they create another crisis in Nigeria. Already, FCCPC has tried to defend the interest of the youths and few adults that patronize them.

Emefiele as CBN Governor warned Nigerians against patronizing online loan apps, he said Nigerians should patronize physically established Microfinance Banks. Economic situation and exigencies make the youths and few adults to patronize them.

Few weeks ago, at a Software development hub, group of coders noticed a fraudulent trap set by a loan Apps (Palm-....) on unsuspecting Nigerians in the Apps . After several phone calls and SMS messages begging whosoever open account with them to take loan, they will start begging you to OPEN the App for an offer. The calls and SMS messages run Monday through Sunday. They believed that at least, 60% of unsuspecting or not cunning or open minded Nigerians that open the App will enter the trap. This was observed at the Coding Lab.

The Loan offer has been set, if you reduce it and click withdraw, instantaneously, you receive congratulatory message for an amount you never wanted to withdraw at a huge interest.

NUPENG must not be allowed to blackmail and threaten the government and the economy. Dangote refinery is a private entity and reserves the right to enforce internal conditions as it deems fit.

The only organisation that may even be considered to have a say here is the Petroleum and Tanker Drivers Association of Nigeria and they have told their members to ignore NUPENG and the strike.

NUPENG wants to force unionisation in a private refinery and by so doing will want to dictate to Dangote how to relate with drivers under its employ. That is a no-no. Did NUPENG go after Greenfield gas? Has NUPENG gone after Nigerian breweries, coca cola or Guinness? Does NUPENG dictate to any of these companies that they must enforce unionisation of their drivers? Why is NUPENG insisting that Dangote drivers must unionise?

Dangote has thousands of truck drivers in his sugar, salt, flour and cement companies. Why did NUPENG not bring up the issue of their unionisation all this while? Is it because NUPENG has read the hand writing on the wall and knows that Dangote is about to render them irrelevant? Dangote should call thier bluff.

NUPENG didn't down tools to force government to fix the terrible roads the unions drivers have been forced to use all these years. NUPENG kept looking the other way as hundreds of its drivers lost their lives in the course of delivering products across the country. Now NUPENG claims to have found its voice? Dangote should crush them. NUPENG has held Nigerians hostage for too long.
People talk about US, UK , China, Japan, Singapore and France but failed to talk about how things are done there and about sacrifice paid by some people before those countries get to their present level.

The freedom of Association gives individual the liberty to associate with any individual, organization and association within the concept of Law. It is not by force or by coercion. An organization cannot force an individual to accept an employment terms. If the terms are suitable to the employee he or she accepts or rejects it. A Union fights for the wellbeing of its members but cannot force employee to be its member. A Union that will not pay salary cannot impose its conditions on the organization that took loans to establish a paid employment.

Yaradua caused this problem. OBASANJO fought a tough battle to sell Refineries, Yaradua came, he played to gallery to discredit OBASANJO Government. The problem is still haunting Nigeria till date.

Another interesting Social Media news media is Oriental Times, an IBO news media.

In South West, we don't have any News media dedicated to South West, rather in Punch, they dedicated their editorial against Tinubu.

When Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) gave Lagos a loan for Light Rail Project from CMS to Lekki Free Trade Zone it was Mallam Nasir El Rufai that raised alarm thinking Federal Government is financing the project as Federal Government project. I will stop here.

Yesterday, passing through the bridge from Doyin (Orile) to Ijora heading towards Costain and coming from Apapa from Police Station to Surulere and coming from Ijora to Costain you will observe the dilapidation of those bridges and roads as a result of trucks moving heavy cargoes to the ports.

How much is NPA and Customs generating from the ports? How much is NNPC and DPR and NPA generating from NNPC jetties in Lagos?

If Lagos were to be New York or Dubai or Addis or Cairo or Jo'borg would there have been any editorial on money spent on infrastructure in Lagos by Daily Trust? During the Military era, apart from the completion of 3rd Mainland bridge by IBB, there was no any developmental project in Lagos while projects were going on elsewhere. During Abacha, Lagos was abandoned to become a jungle.

We need to analyze the projects under Military, the projects under Buhari and the contributions to the national cake before taking decision on the allocation to projects under Tinubu.

Nigeria has spent billions of dollars prospecting for oil in the North and still spending millions of dollars till date while private investors use their money and loans to prospect for oil in Dahomey Basin .

During the Military, while Federal Government was spending billion of dollars to prospect for oil in the North and steel in Ajaokuta, Baba Yinka Folawiyo staked out his life struggle on AJE Oilfield in Dahomey Basin offshore Lagos to prospect for oil.

Daily Trust needs to do editorial on contributions of Lagos to Nigeria before coming out with this propaganda.
