Business / Re: Free Skill Acquisition E-Center by proffmanue(m): 2:11pm On May 21, 2015
@ Strongbest...I just read ur recipe on bar soap production...
am at the experimental stage of laundry (bar) soap production.
I hv some questions for u
1. do u ferment ur caustic soda n soda ash?

2. frm my findings, weight mearsurement is more accurate than volume measurement.. i.e..u weigh every thing including water...this type of method will give a better result when using more than one oil for soap.
my question...is ur method accurate if one combine P.K.O and Tallow?

cheers

All SA companies in Nigeria should more their Head quaters to Nigeria in protest to xenophobia.
This is the only way they can distance them self frm unruly, uncultured and uncivilized fellow citizens.
Failure to comply with the above, the Nigerian Gov shud make doing biz in Nigeria difficult for them.

Fashion / Why You Might Find A Bit Of Goat In Your Hair by proffmanue(m): 11:23am On Oct 10, 2014
The salons that hope you can't tell goats and humans apart
We say it is Indian hair or Brazilian hair, but in fact it is normally Chinese hair or even goat hair. They never realise. This is the only way we can "keep things cheap," she says, adding that her customers always drive a hard bargain.

Before we can finish our conversation Marie from Uganda comes in, demanding: "I want Brazilian hair, only Brazilian, give me your best quality and best price."

The negotiation goes on for hours under the watchful eyes of the wig-wearing, angry-looking mannequins. As the sun sinks and the moon begins to rise over Guangzhou's polluted skyline, Marie leaves empty-handed.

I run after her as she leaves the shop to ask if she knows that some of the hair isn't human. "Of course I know. The Chinese think we're stupid. I come all the way from Uganda and they think I don't know hair," she says.

Marie pauses and then lets out a huge, hearty laugh before coming close to whisper in my ear: "I laugh a lot when I go home and I know that the beautiful women of Kampala have goats on their heads."

Health / Re: What's The Worst Drug Side-effects You Have Experienced by proffmanue(m): 2:20pm On Sep 17, 2014
morbid: Though quinine is notorious for tinnitus,it's nt the oly drug that has adverse effect on the ear. Remember this dude was admitted on account of a possible typhoid fever(don't know how D̶̲̥̅̊є̲̣̥y̲̅ came at the diagnosis sha). Unless the health care personnel was treating for a possible malaria, knowing fully well that here is a malaria endemic area. I'm thinking of a possible overdose of gentamicin or any of it's brothers in the same class with it. But genticin is also nephrotoxic(can harm the kidney). The bottom line is that since we don't av this guy's detailed history,we cannot categorically say wot actually went wrong. We are just using our medical intuition to give a possible explanation to the guy's problem.

@ morbid... u may be right on the issue of Gentamicin because i did ultrasound and it showed I have kidney stone in my left kidney...that was in 2011...i still feel the pain till date...
Health / Re: What's The Worst Drug Side-effects You Have Experienced by proffmanue(m): 10:41am On Sep 17, 2014
I had a terrible typhoid fever in 2008, I was hospitalized in a private clinic. The Doctor said I was not responding to treatment, I could not walk by myself without support. I don't know the drugs I was treated with but I survived. After 2 days of my discharge from the hospital, my ears were ringing, eventually my left ear could not hear again till date.
Does anyone have idea what drug could have done this and if it could be reversed? Thks

Their findings cannot really work: How will they trick the virus in patients to expose the vulnerable glycan?
what they should do is "present the most constantly expressed HIV antigens to professional antigen presenting cells so that immune system can mount the right response.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Hezbollah Claim Drone shot-down By Israel by proffmanue(m): 9:47am On Oct 12, 2012
It's not a matter of IF but WHEN will the anticipated war start. The middle east is undergoing a division into two camps. The Shiite(Iran) and the Sunni(Saudi) camps. Israel is like a pawn both camps play to gain recognition among Muslims in the world. The most abundant thing in the middle east is oil and wrong decisions. The Arabs will achieve more if they spend their money on education and development rather than fighting a lost battle. The drum of war gets louder daily. when the dust settles, the map of the middle east will be redrawn - Israel will survive the war.

Politics / Re: What Does Nigeria Really Lack? by proffmanue(m): 1:07pm On Jun 18, 2012
we lack quality education and professionalism.
we claimed to be educated but I think we are "educated illiterate" because we
don't practice what we learn in sch.
what we are good at is stealing at both local and international level.
naija problems are not limited to the politicians alone because most Nigerians
in foreign countries are bad ambassadors there.
we all lack the ability to do the right thing at every level of the society, even gate-man self na oga.
