bright007: there is something fishy about this story...the four inventors are in the range of 14-15 years of age and are from Nigeria....a country where even our Professors cant produce tooth-pick...which school did this gurls attend?...so many kwessions to ask about this crap of a story?
blood of god! undecided Inferiority complex has has demented ur brain. So because some profs can't 'invent toothpick', dat means the upcoming generation can't do any better. Why do we think so low of our country nigeria?? If they're 14yr old nko?? No be d same brain wey God give steve jobs, and every oda inventors out dere, ee also gave dese girls?? Fine, there might be something fishy bout the story..infact it might not be a true one. But fact is, it isn't a strange tin for a 14yr old to invent such or even something more complex in nigeria. Hian! angry

Unnecessary & highly embarassing invention from idle kids. So if we eventually allow women 2 rule this country this is the kinnda thrash they would be feeding us with. SMH.

gse-integrity:
1. Where is the fourth girl?
2. How long can the system last? I mean the whole of the stuff. Remember a white man will tell you 'This will last for 100 years' sort of.
we like imported ideas while we trash our own. The children are just starting and these oyibo u are talking about will not tell how long the equipment will last the first day it is invented. And even if it doesnt last as long as they promise, do we arrest them?

Great one girls. Must have taken their chemistry classes seriously but different urines have different compositions

I just think these darlings should be encouraged because if you can power a generator with urine, it sure means you can power a car with one. So when oyel dries up, just keep peeing in those pipelines and underground tanks
Re: Nigerian Girls Invent Urine-powered Generator by omenziate(m): 12:48pm On Nov 08, 2012
So pple actually believe dis nonsense, 14 to 15 yrs should b in secondary school wit basic biology, a research to produce dis would require an advanced knowledge of biology, fluid mechanics and some engineering. Abeg, make dem park for some where, one prof or mayb research student actually did dis and credited it to d girls.

Re: Nigerian Girls Invent Urine-powered Generator by Horus(m): 1:06pm On Nov 08, 2012
The four girls should protect their intellectual property on their invention to stop people reproducing their idea without prior permission.
They need a patent for this invention.

THIS INVENTION(?) STILL HAS LONG JOURNEY TO TRAVEL. HYDROGEN AS FEUL IS NOT NEW, IF, NOT TO A SIX YAER OLD PUPIL IN THE WEST. THE PROBLEM HERE IS THE PRODUCT OF HYDROGEN - WATER ON COMBUSTION AND ITS EFFECT ON CYLINDER AND THE EXHAUST. BEFORE WE BEGIN TO SING PRAISES, LETS DO SOMETHING NEW AND REASONABLE OTHERWISE WE MAKE A BIGGER FOOL OF THE ALREADY FOOLISH BLACKMAN CRYING OF RACISM AND WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING TO RAISE ITS PROFILE RATHER KEEP LOOTING AND ENJOYING STOLEN WEALTH IN THE WEST.

your problem is ENVY cos at their age u cudnt even switch on a GENERATOR and even at 40,u cnt still identify the constituents of urine talkless of using it to power a GEN..
