I and my wife just applied for Driving License about approximately 2 weeks ago.
My application type was a Renewal while my wife's own was for a new driving license.

On my old license, there is a mistake on my blood group (instead of a O+, they had O-) and I mentioned this to the officers processing the application so that they would correct it
only to find out that they still posted the wrong blood group. When asked about what will happen and how it can be corrected, they said that it couldn't be corrected, as it had already been approved.

Their system is useless, if someone cannot at the point of reapply, correct some mistakes that they made before.

Please OP, let this also make it to the front page so that they can work on their system. Thank you.

You don't understand, what makes me and others uncomfortable is the Concrete hanging over our cars and our heads as we pass by in traffic. I have not seen this type of thing in developed countries. I just returned from a trip to one not long ago, so
I know what I am talking about here.

It has become a trend in Victoria Island to see cranes at building project sites, suspending concrete over the
road.

The most recent of this that is worrisome is the crane at the Standard Chartered Bank Headquarters Project site.
Most times, when going home, I ply that route and even some times when they are not working, the crane is loaded with
heavy Concrete and left like that. Given the maintenance culture in this country, this type of occurence is a no-no. Even in
developed countries, things like this are not allowed to dangle over busy roads.

Please, anyone that has access to the Local Government Council (Eti-Osa) and the Lagos state Department that are in charge of monitoring and ensuring the safety of the public, should please forward them this info and the attached pictures.
I believe that we can change Nigeria using social media.

I already indicated that some of the skills are not mandatory but desirable. The core skill set required are 2 years .NET (C#), SQL Server 2005 RDBMS with knowledge of SQL language coding, and Web technology from one of ASP.NET or PHP.

Oceanic Registrars Plc have perfected a way to defraud shareholders and investors.
They stopped sending me my Dangote Flour shares dividend warrants a long time (about the space of 2 to 3 years).

Last month, I went to their office at Ikorodu road in Lagos to request for all my dividend warrants since 2008 and after being told that I had only
3 that I hadn't collected, I filled all the necessary paperwork to order the reissue. Expecting that they will print it immediately as was the case with another registrar that I went to earlier on, I was told that I had to come back in 2 weeks time to collect the dividend warrants.

I went on the day after the set date that I was told to come so as to allow time for any delays on their end only to be told that my dividend warrants weren't
ready. I told the lady that I needed the money, my investment entitlement and she sounded surprised and asked that I repeat what I said. I did again and she said that their microcode machine was bad and that without printing it on the warrants, that they were useless. I then asked when I should come back, only to be given another weeks space of time. She then apologized.

The morale of the story is why is our country and/or financial/ records institutions like this. The money has been bearing interest in some account for about 3 years when I didn't receive the warrants and then I decided to go after 3 years and I am getting come today, come tomorrow.

Please broadcast and if possible to bring this shady practice to the relevant regulatory bodies.

I think their activities are fraudulent.
Sometime in 2004, I paid 600 naira to them
and they gave me recommendation letters to 2 companies.
I went to one of them and was told that the MD travelled and
that when he got back I should come back. I kept calling to find
out if the MD had come back but the MD never came back so I gave
up and accepted that I had been tricked.

I later travelled out of the country that year to acquire work experience
overseas. I returned in 2006 and now I have changed jobs a number of times
without having to pay a dime to any recruitment agency.

Have a faith in God, give your life to him and he will work things out for you and
give you the best without your having to fall victim to some hungry folks that don't deliver on
there promises.
