I have tried to imagine how peaceful the world would have been if radical Islamism didn't exist. Check out all the countries that are not receptive of such ideas, they are some of the most peaceful, wealthiest and most productive countries on the planet. It's either they are killing to satisfy whom they worship or they are being used by politicians to cause instability in the world.

In the case of bokoharam, it started when OBJ was President but it didn't pose much of a threat until your current President started supporting and probably funding them. If it wasn't that way, why on earth would bokoharam appoint him as a mediator during GEJ's regime.

It's really wrong and dishonest to claim that deeper life donated a car park and bridge to the public as the car park is not open to the public but strictly for their private use in their new church head quarters building. The truth is that the church did not even have any plans to build this car park till it was imposed on them by governor Fashola as a precondition for allowing them to open and operate from the premises. The truth is that building approval should never have been given to a church of that size (40,000) capacity in a residential area because of traffic considerations but somehow they got it. Along the line when residents of the area(i am one) saw how big the structure was and the implications for traffic, some of us petitioned the then governor of Lagos state(Fashola) and Fashola came personally to inspect the site. It was then he gave them the condition of providing adequate parking and an alternative route(bridge) as a precondition for allowing them to open the church. The church had no concerns about the traffic problems their being there would cause neither did they care and if not for Fashola they would have gone ahead to open the church years ago not giving a damn about the horrendous traffic a church of the size will cause in a residential area. For them to spin it round and give an impression that they are donating something to the public is damn right nauseating. They built because it was imposed on them and for their own selfish reasons.

This is a very big lie.
I somewhat saw the plans from the onset. That bridge and a mega car park have been in their plan from the onset. I happened to know this cos one of my friends brothers company who live and own an ICT company in the area was lobbying to take care of their ICT

Wrong notion bro! You must understand that the Acts that created INEC was accented to by the Senate so the Senate played an important role in the emergence of INEC and let me also remind you that the Senate represents the masses in a logical sense while INEC works for us the people. If by any reasons the masses are complaining bitterly about the way INEC is operating then the Senate (based on petitions scooped from the people they represent) have the power to put things straight in the operations of the INEC so as to appear fair and not biased in the way they conduct elections. The Senate did not change the dates of election which still makes INEC independent but only rearrange the sequence of election dates so as to prevent future disagreements.

So the senate can also interfere with the affairs of CBN based on ur notion. The constitution and the electoral act solely grants INEC the authority to determine date, and sequence of the elections. If that has to be changed then the electoral act as to be changed and accented to by the president or vetoed by the senate.

The kind of points u guys use to argue is always funny.
Card reader was alien to the constitution and needed the senate for it to be put into the electoral act.
If today we are to start using a computer based system of voting, that will also need the approval of the senate.
However, the sequence or timetable of the elections is to be determined by the authority empowered to do that constitutionally. It is like the senate telling the CBN how to run its business.

By Law, senate has no right interfering with the election time table.
INEC is an independent body, senate trying to reorder elections time table or sequence is unconstitutional and undermines INEC as an independent body.
Its is unconstitutional and will not stand.

Quite a lot of ignorant political analysts here. I'm not a seer and as much as I would prefer to try someone else, 2019 is Buhari's to lose if no major decamping happens before 2019.
No living northern candidate can defeat Buhari even in their own state of origin. Buhari will defeat Atiku in Adamawa, Dankwambo in Gombe and Lamido in Jigawa respectively.
Buhari will win the NW with over 80%, the NE with over 70% - Taraba will be the exception, the NC with at least 50%- will win Niger, Kwara, Kogi, and get at least 40% in Nasarawa, and 30% in Plateau and Benue. Ethnic and religious sentiments are the better reasons for Buhari to lose some northern (middle-belt) votes, not one paper weight Northern candidate. This outcome is almost sure irrespective of who challenges Buhari.
Now the only way the PDP can perform well in the election (though won't be enough to win it) is if it presents Donald Duke as its candidate. Duke's candidacy will reduce the voter apathy in the entire south because many in the south would rather watch TV than queue up for Buhari or Atiku.
Duke can win over 80% in the SS and SE. Unfortunately, the NW will neutralise that. While the SW being the most sophisticated voting region could give Duke over 60% and Buhari 40%.That way the SW can neutralise the NE a little.
If it is Buhari vs another northerner, the SW will easily go for Buhari in the midst of huge voter apathy.
Anyhow we look at it, though not my most preferred choice but Buhari wins it eventually.

Oga, it will be sent to Buhari. Of course Buhari wouldn't sign it. Then it would come back to the Senate and they'd veto it. The Executive and/or INEC may take the case to court, but the Judiciary will back the Senate.

This is prolly part of the preconditions Saraki et al have to do before PDP accepts them. Or it could just be Saraki et al making sure they secure their mandates regardless of what happens to Buhari. It's every man for himself.
