Buharididirins are not welcome in this thread, just the more sensible ones that have repented from the curse of supporting the fraudster.

Personally I have always suspected that he was a Fraud given the massive looting that happened under his nose when he was chairman of PTF but when he finally decided to team with a notorious hardened criminal like Tinubu in 2013 to form APC, I became convinced that he was a filthy thief as no person with genuine integrity will ever want to be associated with a scumbag like Tinubu.

This question is actually directed at former Buharig supporters who have since withdrawn their support for him.

Buharig was packaged to Nigerians as a man of integrity who will fight corruption if elected to power during the run up to the 2015 elections. This myth was promoted by the awesome propaganda machinery of the APC financed with funds looted by the most notorious political thief in Nigeria who is also known as Tinubu by leeches and rodents who feed off the crumbs of his looting empire.

No sooner had Buharig become president that he started to reneged on all his campaign promises including making his assets declaration public and not appointing any corrupt person into his cabinet. As at today his government is not only notoriously corrupt but probably the most corrupt in the Country's history and clearly the most incompetent.

As a result of this, virtually all his more sensible supporters have withdrawn their support for him having been disappointed by Buharig's gross ineptitude and the massive corruption entrenched in his government.

This brings me to my reason for opening this thread which is directed at former Buharig supporters. At what point did you realize that Buharig was a carefully packaged Fraud?

Someone says the Buffalo is endangered otherwise we would see herds of them. I wonder if he has ever visited any wilderness area or national parks in Nigeria for him to form that opinion. Go to Kamuku wildlife reserve Kaduna state you will see herds of Buffalo ; or does he expect to see them strolling along Ikorodu road before he will believe there lots of Buffalo in Nigeria.

Go to Okhomu national park Edo state you talk to park officials they will tell you buffalo there are several hundreds.

My advice; talk from experience or educate yourself properly on a subject before you comment otherwise someone will make you look like a fool.

On wildlife in other African countries ; everyone seems to think Kenya is a wildlife paradise. That was before 1977. it is no longer the case today. In 1977 in a misguided attempt to stop poaching Kenya banned all comsumptive use of wildlife which is regulated sport/safari hunting. In less than 20 years they lost 90% of all large mammals.

Why? Because safari hunting gave wildlife an economic value, in banning hunting, wildlife stopped being a resource and lost its value. It became a pest competing for space with man. With no economic value, it virtually disappeared overnight. Poached nearly to extinction because there was no insentive to protect it.

Tanzania allows regulated hunting, it has the largest Lion population in Africa and the 2nd largest elephant population. Over 130,000 elephants.
Botswana allows regulated hunting of elephant and the other members of the big five - lion leopard Buffalo rhino. It has over 160,000 elephants the largest in Africa.

So if you want to think African wildlife, think Tanzania South Africa Botswana Namibia Zimbabwe Zambia Mozambique not Kenya.

Animal rights activists are a dishonest bunch of people. They may genuinely care about animals but they go about it with one thought in mind. To make money from donors, in so doing, they make biased studies, falsify results obtained in the field when it does not suit them. They deny that hunting has any conservation benefits in spite of studies to the contrary. They present hunters as mindless cruel killers and nothing can be further from the truth. Don't swallow their rhetoric hook line and sinker. Do your own research and form your own opinion.

The first people to think in terms of wildlife conservation were hunters. Hunters created the first wildlife hunting regulations in Africa; in Kenya Uganda and the Sudan. They were the first to petition governments to set aside public land for conservation. People don't know and appreciate what hunters and hunting has done and is doing for conservation. They only hear the loudest voice. The voice of the animal rights activists. Yet that is only one side of the coin.

I agree with all your points except your position on Kenyan wildlife. My brother still went on a wildlife expedition in Kenya a couple of years ago and he came back with several pictures of wildlife animals he personally took on the expedition.

Nothing like bush cow, it's a forest buffalo. It's different from the cape buffalo we normally see on Natgeo. You can Google search forest buffalo to confirm.

If you don't kill that thing, it will kill you. African Buffalos are extremely aggressive and mean fortunately that's not even an African buffalo. This is definitely another specie.

It is an African forest buffalo, the other species which is more common is the African cape buffalo. The forest buffalo is native to West and central Africa whilst the cape buffalo is found in East and Southern Africa.

This Forrest buffalo was felled earlier today on a hunting expedition and it's not an endangered species in case some hypocrites who "don't eat" meat want to make noise about killing a so called endangered animal again here.

Just got this pictures from a friend who went on an hunting expedition between Olori village near Oyo town and Odo ogun on the way to Iseyin. The success of the expedition was unprecedented even by the standards of the experienced hunters in the village.

Thanks to the Department of Justice(DOJ) of the United States government, Nigerians were once again regaled with the latest attempted heist of the Buhari administration that has now gained notoriety for the mindless and rapacious looting of our commonwealth.

Though we were not surprised at this revelation given how the last tranche of recovered Abacha loot was re-looted and used for vote buying during the last elections under the guise of giving it to the poor, as patriots who are concerned about the welfare of our fellow Nigerians and how the country’s resources is being mis-managed in the light of pains on Nigerians caused by this same directionless government, we cannot but lend our voice to condemn the continued assault on Nigerians by this gang of criminals who are currently parading themselves as the leadership of the country.

According to the officials of the DOJ, the Nigerian officials involved in the negotiation to transfer the Abacha loot back to Nigeria were more interested in protecting the interest of the chairman of the APC governor’s forum Abubakar Bagudu by ensuring that he got a share of $110 million from the recovered loot under some dodgy “agreement” than in ensuring the interest of the Nigerian State that they were supposed to be representing and this was even at the risk of jeopardising the co-operation of the American government in the further recovery of other looted funds that have been seized from other fraudulent Nigerian politicians.

Despite this administration’s so called anti corruption mantra, looting of our national resources has now become a statecraft with the leadership of the administration actively promoting and protecting corrupt officials who are loyal to them. As a result of this they continue to pile up more debt for the country with absolutely nothing to show for it whilst majority of Nigerians continue to sink into poverty.

We will also like to use this opportunity to commend the DOJ for exposing this fraud and encourage them not to release the money in question to the current administration as the money will only end up being re-looted again. Instead they should hold the money in trust for the Nigerian people until an administration that is truly accountable to the people comes to power and there is certainty that the funds will be used to take care of the interest of the Nigerian people.

PDP pressure group, League of Democrats, says it’s time for Buhari to go.

Given the ineptitude of the current APC administration and the haphazard way government has been run in the last four and a half years, we are not al all surprised at the contents of the latest leaked memo from the National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno.

We ordinarily would have ignored it as another one of the numerous gaffes which this government has now become notorious for, but the fact that it borders on the infiltration of Nigeria’s security apparatus by unauthorised persons and it puts the lives of millions of Nigerians in a precarious position, we feel it necessary to officially condemn this and tag it as a coup d’etat against our democracy.

It is no longer news to the average Nigerian that this Regime/Junta is being run by a cabal of which Abba Kyari the Chief of Staff to the President, who is mentioned specifically in this leaked memo, is a prominent member.

This cabal has been known to take a lot of decisions of behalf of the administration that the President claims not to be “aware” of so this is no a first. Even the wife of the president Mrs Aisha Buhari is known to have openly confessed that four or five people are in charge of the government and that her husband had outsourced his role to the cabal¹.

The contents of the memo which stated that the Chief of Staff has assumed the powers of the president and not only overturns instructions given to the service chiefs by the president he now even issues directives to them independently whilst ignoring the normal security protocols and chain of command. This certainly raises great concern given the poor state of security in the country today.

This meddlesomeness may be evidence of why the efforts of the military in the ongoing war against terrorists in the country has been ineffective. Mr Kyari is no ex soldier or security expert so on what basis is he issuing these directives.

We are also aware of the health challenges that the president has been suffering since he resumed office in 2015. This has affected his sense of “awareness”, other cognitive skills and greatly diminished the little capabilities he may have had to make a real attempt to perform effectively as president. This is ckearly why the country has retrogressed so much on all fronts since 2015.

The leaked memo of the National Security Adviser is the latest in the long list of prima facie evidence that the president is not of sound health and mind to continue to remain in office.

His continued stay in that office constitutes a danger to the security infrastructure of the country and creates a situation where the lives of 200 million Nigerians are constantly at risk.

We make bold to say that the ambition of one man is certainly not worth another life of any Nigerian. Enough is Enough.

Given the obvious and verifiable evidence of dereliction of duty and incapacity of Major General Buhari, we call on him to respect the wishes of the Nigerian people by immediately resigning from office to save the Nigeria from total destruction.

May God continue to watch over us all.

Do your research well in 2002 the country was doing very well because of the increase in global oil price, our economy is solemnly depends on oil money and that was still the same result you got in 2016 when global oil hits a record low 48pb from about 120pb do the maths.

However the PMB led administration has further deepened and worsen the matter with their unending and spurious policies coupled with nepotism and other relative agenda.

In 2002 Oil price was still less than $30 a barrel, the Economic growth experienced then had more to do with the Economic policies of the Obasanjo administration and not just Oil prices. Under Buharig, Oil prices have consistently been over $50 a barrel yet we are still experiencing negative growth.

The PDP League of Democrats read with utter dismay and disbelief an article where presidential spokesman Garba Shehu accused the PDP of being Nigeria's biggest obstacle to good governance.

We felt it necessary to react and point out the untruth and irony in Garba Shehu's position. It is already an established fact that the level of hypocrisy in the APC is unparalleled and their audacity to spill lies, mind boggling.

Garba Shehu of all people who has worked most of his adult life for leaders in two political parties, should understand that a political party is merely a platform. He once served as spokesman for a PDP Vice President for 8 years and is now a spokesman for an APC president because his principal moved to APC in 2013 or thereabouts.

So is he saying that for 8 years, he knew the PDP was Nigeria's biggest obstacle to good governance but he remained in office working with a PDP government? Is that not self-indictment?

If president Buhari crosses to the PDP today, is Garba Shehu telling Nigerians that he will resign?

Garba Shehu is telling Nigerians that a PDP government that grew the economy by around 14% in 2002 and made Nigeria’s economy the fastest growing in Africa is the obstacle to good governance. But an APC government that took us into recession twice and made Nigeria the poverty capital of the world is his better example of good governance? Mind boggling stuff. By the way the APC is currently growing our economy at slightly over 2%. It is simple Arithmetic really.

Is Garba Shehu telling us that a PDP government that obeyed court orders and respected the rule of law is an obstacle to good governance, while an APC government that invades the National assembly and courts with masked DSS officials, refuses to release citizens granted bail, some for as long as four years, invades judges residence in the middle of the night, disobeys court orders, murders defenseless protesting citizens on the streets, detains journalists and activists, hires protesters to physically attack agencies such as amnesty international and other NGO's, removes the CJN without following due process is not an obstacle to good governance?

He accused the PDP of having nothing to offer to Nigeria but corruption, mis-governance and division.

Let us start with their favourite subject matter: CORRUPTION: Garba Shehu is the spokesman of a president who promised to declare his assets publicly if elected, but who has failed to do so despite taking oath of office as president twice. Garba Shehu is spokesman of a president whose Chief of Staff was accused of collecting a N500m bribe from MTN to reduce their fines, spokesman of a president whose SGF was accused of stealing N270m from funds meant for IDP's. He speaks for a president who proudly and publicly supported Kano state governor Ganduje, who was caught on camera receiving around $5m in bribes. What about reinstating corrupt family members and friends like the NHIS boss who was reinstated despite being accused of stealing nearly N1bn?

Under this regime, $25b of contracts were awarded in the NNPC without due process, N4 trillion naira was unaccounted for in NNPC, and till today we still do not know the story behind the $43m #Ikoyigate loot discovery.

When we talk about APC’s record for good governance. Let us not forget that the punch newspaper made a historical pronouncement recently when it declared that it would now refer to President Buhari as Major General Buhari and refer to his government as Regime. What bigger indictment can there be for mis-governance?

Garba Shehu also talked about development.
In four and a half years, this presidency did not build a single school, hospital or road that it can point to. In the same period, the previous PDP administration, built Airports, Roads, The Abuja Trauma centre, gave out Grant's for businesses under YouWin, Trained former militants to be pilots and underwater welders and ship builders, gave out scholarships to the brightest students and even built over 100 Almajiri schools in the north.

Under this administration, YouWin was renamed but everyone LOST! Nobody has received a kobo from the scheme. Businesses are failing, companies are downsizing, FDI is at its lowest levels. Nigeria’s debt is at an unprecedented level and yet this administration wants to access more loans when there is absolutely nothing to show for the loans they have already received and disbursed.
Our dear country is sinking.

Garba Shehu also talked about Division. The most divisive president in Nigeria's history is Major General Buhari. Even before he took office, he made the infamous 97% and 5% statement in faraway USA. Major General Buhari has not only filled almost all the slots of head of security agencies with Northern Muslims, he is now replicating in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies. The records are there for Nigerians to see in flagrant disobedience of his oath and the principles of federal character. Do not take our word for it. Please verify yourselves.

We must also ask Garba Shehu to refrain from talking about the back to back losses the PDP suffered in the last two general elections. We remind him that his principal, Major General Buhari who is fond of boasting about his popularity REJECTED the amended Electoral act which would have ensured a FREE AND FAIR election and instead resorted to a FREE FOR ALL or WILD WILD WEST manipulation and terror spree where people were beaten and killed and driven away from polling units with all sorts of dangerous weapons to allow fictitious results to be written in APC’s favour.

Garba Shehu along with his boss and the APC will forever be remembered for the destruction of social values, for the annihilation of truth, justice and peace in Nigeria.

In fact, we say this without fear of contradiction that Nigerians can’t wait to see the back of them.
