I remember my husband's friend's story.

He had a son(now a graduate) in the boarding school then. He was called by the matron to come pick his son as he was not responding to the malaria treatments they were giving him. Little did they know.

He got to the hospital, and at the waiting room Nurses took the vitals of his son. He just passively asked the nurse to do his BP. Viola! It sky rocketed. The nurse rushed to call the doctor immediately to check himself again. The doctor asked again who the patient was. He said his son. Doctor said No, you are the patient. You won't go home. If you force yourself to go and something as little as a loud noise happens beside you, you are gone!

Thankfully he yielded. Father and son were admitted in the hospital.


On the flip side,

My lecturer with similar case told the doctor he needed to go and write his handover note cos he already planned to go on leave. Lo and behold, he died in his car. He didn't make it to the office.

If as a Maths teacher you don't know how to up your game, then you are to blame.

There are certain subjects that school owners, parents and students should literally be begging for their attention, maths is one of them.

My core subjects are Maths and English and I never taught in any school, to keep my sanity and dignity intact.

I simply joined a facility put together by someone who used to be a teacher but probably got tired of these shenanigans. What you do there is teach only in the evenings when kids are back. He has connections in all those big schools. He will get the parents to register with him and charge them heavily. The only problem is that he didn't pay much. But by the time I added all the money from students and pupils together, I got 60k as at 2019. This is even because I was a nursing mom at the time and I have to care for my kids. He will post you to students in your area. I can give you his contact if you wish. He is based in Lagos. He is a grand master in what he does, he even trained us once in a month. How to cope with different types of children and how to handle difficult ones. You can even do this as well if you are smart. But you need to learn from this guy first, cos I've never seen his type of style in education.

I taught kids from big schools like Chrisland and the likes, who use British curriculums. If you are sound and you know your onions, you will make far more than you are making now as a Maths teacher.


Do you know how many people abroad who are looking for online Maths teachers for their kids? Paying teachers in their countries is too expensive, so they will gladly hire you online. Just a laptop and data, with generator cos of light, you can make 500k a month. You are not spending on transport, no hassle and bustle, you will remain fresh and clean.

I got married in 2008 and there is this goldsmith that helped with our wedding bands. His name is Mr Koya. I lost his contact and its really painful. Rarely will you get a goldsmith so truthful and knows his onions. The person that introduced me to him also lost his contact, and is seriously looking for him as well. I need to replace my husband's lost wedding band.

He is based in Somolu Lagos. I cant seem to remember the exact location again.

But the biggest form of hypocrisy is to expect people to treat a mad person with the same decency they'd treat a normal person.

My friend's maternal aunt who haboured her mad nephew learnt the hard way.
She'd feed him and hit the chaplet on his head praying for his restoration.
Everyone adviced her to chain him behind the house but she said it was dehumanizing.

Two months later, she didn't wake up because he had sliced out her heart when she was asleep. When asked, he said she was too kind-hearted so he wanted to help preserve the heart.

Moral.
Never judge people when they treat mad people in a certain way.
