One of the poorest states in Nigeria.
And guess what? They are the so called food basket of the nation.

Whenever anybody tells you farming is the way forward, ask him to explain why Benue state
houses some of the poorest folks and keeps regressing.

I only opened this thread because I thought you wanted to tell us about the new "kwase" you fuvked. But alas, I was "amakad"

Tiv people and fvck are like Sodom and Gomorrah.

They start fvcking as soon as they are conceived. Yet, one obobo will go there and pick a wife. Tufiakwa!!!!

But wait, how did this make front page?
It's an irony to bear such a monika think9ja when it is the opposite you tend to portray. Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world so in essence you're also hail from one poverty-stricken state.

Tell me which tribe in Nigeria that does not have hallots or ashawo since you tend to localize it to just one when they're several randy men and promiscuous women running on a loose in every state in this country.
To say I be your papa I for don exchange you for sac of beans.... blôôdyfoool

North Central has nothing in common with Nyamiris!

Niger state 80% muslim state with a Muslim governor... Sani Bello

Nasarawa is 75% muslim state with a Muslims governor... Abdullahi Sule.

Kogi is 65% muslims with a Muslim governor... Yahaya Bello.

Kwara is 70% muslim state with their Muslim governor Abdukrazak.

Benue is a 90% Christian country with a Christian governor Samuel Ortom.

Ipob jew extremist should stay away from north central!!

God bless northern Nigeria!!
Point of correction Benue state is 100% christians and it is a taboo to be a head slammer or muslim over here. Any muslim you see migrated here and is not from the Tiv tribe

We middle-belters are lover of life and we are in dire need of livin' a progressive life and not just existin' on earth as we have been forced to live in this pseudo-democracy practiced by our ancestry. They're alot christians spread across northern Nigeria and the middle-belt is home to mostly christians.

Nigeria is a blessed country but it's unfortunate that those pioneerin' it's affairs are kind of brain dead and cannot see beyond borrowin' money instead of lookin' within to generate the money by making a conducive environment so that businesses can thrive. But since it would favour mostly the southern and middle-belt people they tend to hoard the idea....just take a look at Innoson motors. It's not a newfound love. Northern Nigerians and Nigeriens have always been one and the same.

The difference is, we let the map Britain created for us to deceive us-- the Southerners. That same map did not deceive them from knowing the trace of their roots.

You must be a Tiv man, congratulations.
But it is not only tiv that fought the civil war, other tribes did too and had more casualties.
I am and a proud one for that matter, since you couldn't see where I mentioned plateau state also. Benue and plateau had the highest number of generals or top ranking security agents compared to the rest of the country in short the middle belt has stood it's ground in the unifying process of this country and the only link between the south and the north yet they see them as minority till date.

So in essence if we choose to leave they wouldn't be any smelly one Nigeria, for since we were born and now we're older we haven't enjoyed any previledge as to being a Nigerian rather we suffer Marginalization from every angle.

The only alignment the North Central has with the other part of the North is politics, apart from politics our culture is totally different with you guys.
The true definition of culture is the way of life of the people and I have been opportuned to school in core north and serve in core north and I am from middle belt and I've been to the south too so I tell you that the CORE NORTH is different from the rest of the country in all ramifications.
Even as hausa language is their dominant language over there in core north and not even English language that has been adopted after British colonialism...why the other parts of the country; middle belt down to the entire south adopted English as their ligua franca while french was even the second language before you could even think of speakin' your own God given ethnic language.

When it comes to justice the core north practice penal code while the rest of the country practice criminal code as their law.

Why all this injustice yet they keep forcin' and enforcin' one Nigeria that has been a sham and a scam even from it's inception.

BafanaBafana:
Gideon Orkar?
He wanted the middle belt to be with the south?
You don mean it
I guess he just enlightened you so go back to the basics which is the history of Nigeria then you'll know his military coup was the bloodiest since the inception of this country.

It was because of his loquaciousness; too much talkin' and braggin' that made his plans to fail and it was because his idea then was to push the core north out of Nigeria. So the likes of Abdulsalam were among his coup plotter but later flipped on him by going to tell IBB the young soldier plans since they are hausas from the region too. It was through a tunnel Babangida ran out and was the only that survived the massacre.

There again during Biafra war in 1967-1970 it was about 1,400 Tiv soldiers that fought the war so as to unite us as one and lost about 800 soldiers yet a Tiv man is not regarded whenever it comes to decision making in this hell hole called Nigeria.

If it wasn't for the Tiv tribe even the igbo's would have been conquered and islamize by now if not for the fact that the leader of Usman Dan fodio's jihad which is his son was killed effortlessly in Benue which brought his jihad to a halt.

So if I may ask how many Benue born soldiers are currently heading or occupyin' top military positions here in today's Nigeria even as they were the state the fought so hard to uphold the false and fake one Nigeria, including plateau state.

Soon as a Tiv man called Gideon Orkaa saw the true picture of the delusional one Nigeria that was why he decided to plan and plot the bloodiest coup ever....for this single act alone Benue state was categorized as just a mare representation in the northern region during electioneering period but in true sense they do not count when it comes to decision making in thesame north.

All of these sectionalism, ethnocentrism and Marginalization is as a result of our refusal to accept Islam as the religion of the people; it is a taboo for a Tiv man to be a head slammer just like it is for the igbo's too.

He is speaking facts.

I don't think that he meant English alone.

When I stayed in America for two years, I noticed that even the less educated were on point with pronunciations and had confidence when they spoke.

As for education in Nigeria, it has gone so low that before covid, employers were complaining about unemployable graduates.

The 1970 Nigerian leaders began that rot, and the late 80s to now, have perfected it.

Secondary schools are now 80% failed, universities are 97% tampered results and produce very watered down graduates. When you compare the environment for most educational institutions sef, even my dogs will not want to so anything in there, after one minute.

Even elementary schools are becoming undependable.

Enough blame to go around, beginning with all the failed leaders since 1965; then the sorting or bullying parents; then the teachers/lecturers payment ( every month story of how them go owe them); then the people that make the school function like maintenance, boarding house cooks, security, and cleaners; etc

Nigerians have shot themselves in the foot, knees, and hands; and have done so multiple times; that it is now crippled in that sector.

We elected, aided and abetted saboteurs; that only know how to take national money for account padding to the detriment of the nation.

Close your mouth and stop renderin' bacteria homeless if understandin' is too great for you to conceive. But why on earth would a country with almost 300 tribes decide to adopt a white man's language as it's number one then french as it's number two language without considerin' the peculiarities of it's people.

Pigin language would forever remain our language even if we keep denyin' and faking it
EducationRe: Afe Babalola: 'Nigerian Graduates Are More Dangerous Than Illiterates' by Prolific007(m): 5:53am On Dec 24, 2020
Fluency in English language cannot be translated into being brilliant or an intelligentual but rather a means of communicating even better so as to avoid misunderstandin'.

Nigeria as a country was never supposed to adopt English or make french language it's number one and two language since it is alien to the people of the region because it was brought to us by the Westerners.
All we were to do is borrow some words from the English language the white man gave to us; usin' it as a foundation or a precursor so as to enable the buildin' of structures in pigin language.

Just imagine how amazin' it could have been if chemistry, physics, biology, computer sciences, mathematics and English language were all taught in pigin language.

Here goes my own confession

I met this pretti damsel Hafsat(not real name) back then in 2014 during our registration, unfortunately she's a core Muslim from one of the Islamic states in the north and I am a church goer from a vibrant Christian family too.
So we got acquainted and gradually started dating officially during 1st semester break of our 1st year, it was spectacular and unfortunately my long desire was to date a Muslim gal.

Forward to our live back in school, this capable woman was my course mate and she learnt the habit of cooking from her hostel and bringin' to me most often in my 1st year and 2nd year. I was kinda scared initially to let my heart to it but as time passed by I couldn't help but let myself have a free fall which I began to unravel how special and peculiar this lady is. We started the cohabitation in our 300L since we spend our day and night most often, look this wonder woman eclipsed my previous gf's totally...lemme call her Cupid. I found love in a hopeless place like I schooled in Katsina state, a core shariah state to the bone.

I cannot express how much the relationship has affected me but I know 'true love exist' and I am glad I'd meet her at the time I did and it's been 6years already, we're done with school and I'm glad it didn't affect our grades that much since we both graduated with 2.2 and not just any point but the one of 3point something so I am delighted that we could enrole for our masters effortlessly too.
She was the only gal I dated in my 4years program...she was Clyde and I was bonny, we were like 5&6; whenever you see her in school or around just don't get too excited since her bf is just by the corner if you look closely. I never regretted cohabiting with the rare gem, but even after school the distance is not yet a barrier and hell yeah we still dating and I also have one good news for y'all, our bond(covalent) keeps gettin' stronger everyday but I know God's grace would be upon us and cause us to be favored amongst men.
I would love to do right by her and walk the aisle, for she's my complementary strand no doubts and I love her to bits

Stories! If some northerners continue this madness of huddling some foodstuffs, probably the south will boycott them. Secondly most of those food stuffs grow in the South
It's so unfortunate that you can still find people like this with entitlement mentality in the 21st century. The south could possibly import food even if they want because of their resources.

Whatever that grows in the core north states can and has been growing in the middle-belt states like Benue state for example can feed the whole of Nigeria talk more of sending food products to the south. The soil composition in Benue is ideal for any crop you want to plant atall and even the water there is pure and healthy to humans and animals, even the fulani herdsmen knows this that's why the unrest won't cease.

But the core north can go to hell for all I care since we the middle belter are willing and ready to carry on the task for we want development and not retardation and if eventually this country splits we want to be with people that reason for the way forward in life

When the British came to Nigeria, they realised that they could not abolish our own native laws (customary law), so they accomodated it with some modifications.

Basically, customary law was reduced to governing issues such as marriage, inheritance, etc. Basically, personal law.

The customs and traditions in most Northern Nigeria at the time the British arrived was based on Sharia Law and so it became the customary law in the north.

There's also customary law in the south, based on things like marriage, inheritance, etc.

However, some northerners have been complaining since the 1960s that you can't separate Sharia Law into personal law and criminal law and that Sharia is one. Therefore, some northern governors introduced Islamic criminal law in the early 2000s. Some say that it is unconstitutional because Sharia was limited to personal law in the constitution.

Canon law was not part of Nigerian tradition and customs when the British arrived.
