VoltageDivida: Indeed, this is one of the most transparent recruitment ever done by a federal government agency that I have witnessed.
It gives me great joy when I read the testimonies of many of the invited candidates here on Nairaland saying they had nobody, no connect, no godfather but the Almighty God. This has greatly helped to restore my hope in this country. If it continues like this, and spread to other sectors of the government then nothing can stop our rising as a nation.
For those waiting to go through the backdoor with the influence of their godfathers (or money), know that you are contributing to the corruption we constantly pray against in the country. Everyday we blame our political leaders for our woes and failures as a country but with every little opportunity that comes our way we tend to do same if not worse than them. Well, I wish you succeed through your godfather but may it never be at the expense of someone who got it legitimately.
Personally, I applied for this opening but was never invited for the exams. At first I was saddened by that. But seeing the number of applicants who got in legitimately, I know I still have hope. I may be selected in the next recruitment, or in any other government parastatal, as long as due process is followed.
God Bless Nigeria Baba be calming down, contribute to which corruption? If you no get connect just lock up...no be by force to post. What of the oga them wet dey give free slots na those with connection still cause am? |

Paramilitary1: Lol. I am not saying replacement don't happen, even now I suspect replacement ongoing but why they will be doing replacement and recruitment at the same time is what still amaze me. As for this particular letter, it has been circulating for a long time, I have it on my phone before now. ask your self who post am before it went viral? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by prophetic69(m): 11:46pm On May 16, 2021 |
Paramilitary1: Though this particular APL is fake. However, people enter all agencies especially paramilitary via unadvertised recruitment (popularly called replacement). fake na you type am?....baba there are happenings beyond your logical thinking going on, if you don't understand don't speak. There are levels to everything you only defend what you know... goodnight |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by prophetic69(m): 10:01pm On May 16, 2021 |
Sikpa04: Y'all be careful with the information you spread do not mislead the populace.
The screening list has been released, and I doubt if there's a second one. If you didn't make it then I'm sorry there's nothing you can do (Except there's someone who wants you to come in through the back door, which can actually help and get you the job but have it at the back of your mind that you must attend training in camp).
I'd advice those who didn't make it to not build castles in the air and wait for a supposed "2nd list". Try out other military/ paramilitary recruitments. One must surely work out one day.
As for replacement, I have heard this thousands of times even before now but my question is WHO ARE YOU REPLACING??!!!
NIS has lots of vacancies that's why the advert was placed last year. They recruit officers they don't replace. Maybe the replacement is for civilian staff, I don't know.
I know people will quote me to tell me how they know a friend's brother/sister/family member who got in through replacement and all that dustbin gist.... I'll await your response. person go just dey vomit wetin he no understand...was there any recruitment last year? No but defend this APL to prove your your point..
