gbegemaster:Thanks gbegemaster, the stupid thing is that I love her and can't stay away. And she knows that. |
I loved her. I mean I loved my ex, well maybe not yet, girl-friend. But most times, when things went south, I realized love is not enough to build a ‘forever’ relationship. I think mutual respect is important too. How long can the relationship last, where I am violently abused on a daily basis, by my highly temperamental girlfriend; who deliberately deteriorate situations to that level just to satisfy her violent tendencies. Then later flag work-stress as the cause of her violent outburst. That’s not the only reason though. Sometimes, she spurs me to anger, if I react, I am injured, if I don’t, she won’t speak with me through the day till 4am the following morning, when she will request I cuddle her. And me, as ridiculous as it sounds, will just comply. In recent time, the victims of abusive relationships and marriages are no longer women. They are men. Shame and stigmatization are factors that have continually hindered these men from seeking help for this problem. Not just my case, a friend’s uncle used to be a victim too. His wife will tear his clothes, rain curses on him in public. All he ever does is walk away, with a heavy heart in agony. One particular feature of turbulence of this kind, is the destruction of properties, especially properties the man bought. The moment these violent women start going wild, they begin to destroy everything within their reach, and even perhaps try to use it to harm the man. Although, like myself, men in abusive relationships and marriages must understand that walking away is the most advisable thing to do, and must summon the courage to do so. This World has to be a fair society for all. There has to be a movement against the abuse of men in relationships and marriages. As odd has it sounds, over 25% of me in relationships and marriages are victims of ‘domestic’ violence; and we need to know that we are not alone. I have my scars as proof. So do many others. It should be known that not only women are abused, men are victims too. Ours is even more precarious because there is no single voice peaking for us. IN A FAIR SOCIETY, IT IS JUSTICE FOR ALL.

1. Sometimes people don't notice the things you do for them until you stop doing them. . 2. We are all racists, That man is white, she is red, I'm dark, over there is blue; Yet when it comes to Love, our analysis just slide, And for once we will be right. As the feeling pops-up and grows, Our concerns just, fade away, Like a man that, against the storm, rows, But this time of course, he'll have his way, Love don't care at all, For your way, my way, their ways, Cause it has its own lane. Perhaps if we don't fight it, If we don't push it, or delay it, That could be a key to some peace, In our lives, our homes and theirs too. But not that we can defeat it, Not that we can banish it, For once let it consume us. Even with the hatred that flies, With the propaganda and lies, No matter how time flies, Love's line will never bend, Even in the face of these turmoils, Love don't care, So far we allow it in. According to a 2014 ‘Wilkinson & Finkbeiner’ (Family Law Attorneys) publication, titled: Everything You Need To Know About Divorce – Facts, Statistics and Rates; with the web link: www.wf-lawyers.com/divorce-statistics-and-facts: Every 13 seconds, there is a divorce in the U.S.A, which equates to 277 divorces per hour; 6,646 divorces per day; 46,523 divorces per week; and 2,419,196 divorces per year. Of a truth, the statistics above is alarming, but what is even more alarming is the fact that the figures above apply to the American Society alone. And America (U.S.A) does not have the highest divorce rate in the World. This means that there should be around 500,000 divorces per minute all over the globe (just speculating). Nothing can be more mind-boggling to comprehend that such. Yet, it is not far from the truth, that INFIDELITY is one of the top reasons for these divorces, at least, that is what many think, including many victims and Experts. But really, ‘Marriages do not break on accounts of infidelity. It is just a symptom that something is wrong somewhere.’ Before a couple concord to marry themselves, there must have been a very strong mutual Trust, overwhelming Affection, and even a deep thirst to keep each other company for so long. Then, I find it incomprehensible for one, or both of this couple to, for no JUST reason, begin to fancy an opposite sex outside his or her marriage. I strongly maintain that there must have been a root cause that is hidden from the spotlight. Many marriages that break as a result of ‘Infidelity’, in most cases, have more to them – than meets the eye. There are certain factors that can be scientifically proven as responsible for the act (especially among marriages that are between 2-8 years; it is between this gap 63% of marriages crash). I will only discuss the top 5 in this article. · Lack of Commitment: A study in the U.S, involving 1000 divorcees on account of Infidelity, shows lack of commitment as a major reason one or both of 72% of the couples, engaged in extra-marital affairs. You might wonder what ‘lack of commitment’ is. This include acts that portray disloyalty towards one’s spouse; that is, not relating to their emotional, physical, sexual and even financial needs. This factor is a chief reason for divorce; and it is very unfortunate that 83% of existing marriages still have lingering issues in this regard. https://ezrajiboye..com.ng/2017/03/the-real-cause-addressing-infidelity-as.html |

[quote author=Mologi post=41484493]Dictator kor,Abacha ni. APC eWorrior ..... Lol.... By mid-next year I go want hear your opinion on that lousy party |
With Leadership comes Responsibility. But the world-over, the practical efficacy of leadership has been altered with deception through the media. This has birthed dictatorship and other forms of suffering on the subjects who are confused on situation of things, as the media keeps feeding them with both 'untrue and almost-true information' about government's efforts and in efforts, rather than being a channel for government's accountability to the people. It is a global condition. But perhaps, in recent time, Nigeria media, under the stronghold of Mr. Lai Mohammed has gone a little beyond the normal, making its effect more severe and alarming than normal. In April, an acquaintance of mine, who wanted to publish a book on media's role in the 'March 28' general elections, in honor of Mr. Lai Mohammed, proposed that I execute the project; that afforded me the time and resource to review Mr. Lai's role during the electioneering process. Indeed, I saw a genius, perhaps, an evil genius, who took advantage of the pressing global economic relapse and the Nigeria-share of terrorism to spew accusations at the past government through to the heart of Nigerians. But his cunningly wizardous expertise in leading such a National media dictatorship was per excellence and must be regarded as a genius-play in its on might. After my research, contracted to polish the whole thing into a book of honor, the publication failed as my client couldn't afford the agreed sum, pushing me to refuse releasing the material. That is by-the-way. Since my dear Mr. Lai Mohammed assumed office as the 'Honourable' Minister of Information & Culture, I noticed he has not been able to adjust to fit the promotion our dearest President availed him. He has been dragging the fortunes of the government he is part of in the mud. Though still having the media in his 'hairy' armpit, Mr. Lai has proven that indeed 'CHANGE' which is his party's slogan, is not a common word as he has made it seem. How come a gallant, tactical strategist of a spokesperson could lose steam few months after a milestone success; that is because my dear Mr. Lai is too rigid, too rigid even for change. He should know that even brother Reagan is not so Rigid. Dictatorship never lasts forever. Take a look at history, many stories abound. Though the most sensitive kind of dictatorship is not even by the Head of State or President, but by the media. Since my dear Mr. Lai Mohammed has declared war on Nigerians (that we won't get a single true report as long as he is in power), I implore Nigerians to look upwards for I AM's intervention. Even God detests dictatorship, and I know it will require His grace for Nigeria to survive this era of media-brainwash and sworn dictatorial acrimony. I have spoken, and God knows I mean well for Nigeria and the Government of the day. God Bless PMB God Bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria God Bless You All God Bless Me Too. #HappyNewYearInArrears |

SARAKI, The Mafia Manager and Political Correctness: The Nigerian politics is unique, totally different from what is obtained in other parts of the World. Indeed, not only Nigerians have political mafias or consider political correctness, but the uniqueness attached to the understanding and interpretation of these two makes our politics a thing of humor. Recently, there has been a show of power-play of two political factions in the ruling political party that has affected, immensely, our national functions. Even the most politically naïve person in Nigeria today is, to an extent, familiar with the name TINUBU. And per chance you ask who is Tinubu, he is a mafia lord or mafia manager. But some people will rather use the word 'god-father'. His influence in presenting the the President as their party candidate cannot be under-emphasised. He is even accorded a position superior to others in the party 'national leader'. In this context, his name is a political trademark. His word is law in his party, rather, mafia; as such, he is a mafia manager. But Saraki is another strong man in the party, who sees himself as an almighty and can bow to no one else. He wades his own influence on members loyal to him. But we all know that 'two captains cannot steer one ship'. Now to the issue proper. During the tussle for positions in the National Assembly, with Senator Saraki being a contestant; the owner of the party, I mean the manager, Mr. Tinubu was outrightly against Senator Saraki. After their rumbles and tumbles, the Senator clinched power, and trying to really proof to the mafia manager that he has gotten to the peak of party power and is now an equal too, refused to allow loyalists to the manager hold any position. Well according to Political Correctness Police, that is a two-side-effect political move... Moreso, the Political Correctness Police were divided as the battling parties are their Lieutenants. That little intra party fighting excavated into a full blown WAR. One strength Senator Saraki failed to acknowledge about the Mafia Manager is that the mafia king owns the Nigerian media. ***Smiles*** It was unleashed on the daring Senator, with ugly personal and collective secrets of his finding their ways to the public, thanks to the mafia manager. The Senator was not given breathing space to recover, and perhaps, counter attack. The attack was religious, fierce and unending. As the attack was progressing, a simultaneous attack were on against some of Senator Saraki's allies. The President, being a beneficiary of the of the mafia king; has pledged his loyalty by also declaring war on the Senator. The war is still on. Everyone is fighting; but the Senator has some ever-loyal allies, and that has been his corner of comfort. The fact these people are neglecting, precisely the President and the Senate President (the mafia king cares less) is the impact of their war on the Nation. The Senate President has sworn to retaliate if he survives this period of persecution and on the other hand, the mafia king has sworn the Senate President will not survive. He has even gone to shop for a replacement. And Nigerians, like people without rights and mouths, are watching the power play. We watch; we watch. But if we continue to watch, time will pass us by and posterity will hammer us. There is only one option. Though the Political Correctness Police have come out with different stories and theorems. The only option is to do the right thing. The Senate President might not be morally justified to hold that possesion, that should be left for tomorrow. We must wrestle our Nation from the grip of the Mafia Manager. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By Ezra Ajiboye
