Politics / Re: Abia State Development Thread- PICTURES by PROUDIGBO(m): 4:44pm On May 15, 2023 |
gidgiddy: I started getting cynical about south-east governors few years into the Okorocha admin when i realised he wasn’t gonna deliver on his promises after all hype! His ‘Ikwuola nku’ initiative for instance…..where is it today!? Dead as a Dodo! I’m particularly passionate about palm oil production as, barrel-for-barrel, it’s even more valuable than oyel! There’s also a lot to be derived from the entire palm oil value-chain…including palm kernel cake! Nothing goes to waste in palm oil production! You know palm oil is an active ingredient in a lot of edible and skin-care products? Imagine then the billions of dollars states like Imo and Abia could have been making had they revived and built on those massive palm plantations Dr M I Okpara created in the 60s! My optimism and expectations for governance were heightened again when Soludo became governor, but have since been brought back down to realistic levels. The remaining faith i still have in the likes of Soludo, Otti and Mbah is now based on their antecedents in previous public and private endeavours and their intelligence! So it’s not really blind faith as was previously the case with Okorocha. 1 Like |

Two things: *Reset Nigeria back to pre-1960 settings demographically…and then devolve powers to the regions or states as the case may be (this will include devolving policing as well)! I say pre-60 settings because some have taken advantage of their control of the political-economy (including the military), from 1960 to date, to take over, control and appropriate other peoples land and resources! *Either the above or dismember the country, let everyone go answer their papa name, control their security and resources, and develop at their own pace! |

Your entire pathetic existence on this forum is defined by your sick obsession with Obi, yet you wanna claim he doesn’t scare you!? Who are you kidding!? |

AdaojoTheUrchin: While i concede the man made some impressive infrastructural strides in his two terms as governor, i find his narcissistic attitude, arrogance and lust for power increasingly repugnant and repellant! He’s one of those pathetic Igbo political elite who go out of their way to try and please their Fulani masters….even if it means having to throw their own under the bus, all in the hopes that when it’s seen they’re ‘one Nigerianists’ and hate Mazi Kanu and Biafra, then the Fulani will agree to loan them the presidency for one or two terms….all depending on if they ‘behave themselves’! The likes of Umahi, Uzodinma, Kalu, Nnamani, etc, see themselves and their Igbo ethnic group as being subservient and slaves of the Fulani hegemony, and are prepared to kiss as much Fulani butt as it takes to ingratiate themselves with their perceived ‘masters’! 1 Like 1 Share |

nepapole: ….worse still, a mother! Even if i live till a million years i’ll never understand! I think the people that can commit this type of evil and are still able to live with themselves….go to bed and sleep well, are all products of born-throway! I doubt they had the presence of one or both parents while growing up, or were given a hug and shown any love in their formative years! This is the result of the hordes of almajiris and leaking borders in the core north! Even in developed western societies, those who commit heinous and appalling crimes like mass murders, are usually products of dysfunctional homes or upbringings, and we’re not shown any care and guidance as they were growing up! It’s all about upbringing, showing love and setting boundaries for children in their formative years! 2 Likes |

And some will just talk or organise a security outfit to do what the useless Nigerian state is either unwilling or unable to do, and you see the crazed bile as they call for him to be extra-judicially murdered by the state or locked away for ever! That’s Nigeria for you! 1 Like |

JOemmy: Had Buhari and his murderous goons been Igbo, you’d have long since seen a galvanising of ethnicities (esp’ the Yoruba and Fulani) as well as the Nigerian army, police and DSS against them! Even before this, there’d have been a massive pogrom of Igbo living in the core north and parts of the south-west….and even the slavish Christian middle-belt will join in like we saw in 1966! Nigeria is a fcking joke that has long since ran its course, and SHOULD BE DISMEMBERED, let everyone go their separate ways…align with others with similar values and respect for the sanctity of human life, and be in control of their own security and destiny! I DO NOT want my people to be part of this sick, enforced union of disparate groups! I’ve watched proceedings leading up to and after the so called presidential elections with interest, not because i was expecting the most popular candidate, Peter Obi, to be declared winner, but because i wanted all these naive ‘one Nigerianists’ to finally wake up to the realisation that they’re playing in a game in which their wicked hegemonic oppressors and their greedy emi lo kan southern accomplices have rigged all riggables and compromised all compromisables against them! 3 Likes 1 Share |

fuckuigbos: Discerning minds will know exactly what's going on in this forum! The energy and spirit being used to try and cause divisions between Ndigbo and neigbouring ethnicities in the east comes from the same place as the enery and spirit being used to drive the pro-Tinubu and anti-Obi/Igbo political narrative pre and post elections! The people sneakily and deceptively driving this agenda ARE MAINLY YORUBA....possibly with a handful of self-serving Fulani and Ijaw gaining from the status-quo! This cretin i'm quoting is a case in point! He registered TODAY with a derogatory Igbo moniker.....ceratinly another alternate moniker out of many, and his set goal is to try and continue the anti-Obi/Igbo narrative! The entire situation would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic! Dude, get a life! 3 Likes |

Ndimkpurummiri: Dr Akunyilis’ assassination was a false-flag operation committed by vermin cut from the same bloodstained rag as the ones who murdered Deborah in cold blood! It’s all about ‘domination’…be it political, cultural or religious! They picked a high-profile target like Dr Akunyili as they knew it would make the headlines…..all aimed at trying to ‘justify’ the ‘terrorist’ tag your Buhari gov’t unjustifiably pinned on Mazi Kanu and IPOB…as well as to create a climate of fear and insecurity in the run up to the last presidential election! You tell us why you think any Igbo or IPOB would want to assassinate a accomplished and kind hearted brother like Dr Akunyili? Remember, we’re talking of a peaceful secessionist organisation and region that has existed and maintained their peaceful nature long before the coming of the likes of Buhari and Uzodinma! |

Politics / Re: Big Story: Peter Obi’s LP Won 16 States, Not 12. IREV Results Show. by PROUDIGBO(m): 12:09pm On May 12, 2023 |
Iriruaga100: The one of Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers really shocked me considering they’re all neighbours of the south-east and should have remembered how the south-east supported one of their own in 2011 and 2015! However, i think it had more to do with the character of the power-brokers in the states concerned more than it had to do with party! Notice in Delta and Edo, they have respectable and civilised governors, and in the case of Delta there’s a strong Igbo ethnic makeup which would have played its part! However, Same can’t be said of formerly mentioned states that have strong power-brokers with selfish political/economic interests or a defective moral compass…like Wike, Emmanuel and the Niger-Delta militants for instance! Of course the analysis isn’t as black or white as it seems as there are equally Niger-Delta militants in Delta state. However, there’s is mainly limited to the Ijaw parts, and whatever shenanigans they came up with would have been diluted by the sanity and fair-mindedness of the other groups in the state, not least the Igboid ones. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Biafra: This Is The Fate Of Ndigbo In Nigeria. by PROUDIGBO(m): 1:52am On May 12, 2023 |

You're taking that quote out of the larger context of the entire post. The OP was asking for a commonality of purpose and for Ndigbo to unite to face our enemies who are legion. Us uniting and demanding the release of Mazi Kanu is only but a step towards us regaining our relevance and dignity in a country where some have determined to hold us down. Mazi Kanu being released would show progress is being made on that journey and doesn't mean if he's not released then the fate of Ndigbo would subsequently be sealed. You're implying the OP is saying the release of Mazi kanu is a single, stand-alone event which if it doesn't happen would be the end of Ndigbo, whereas the way i read it, the OP was implying his release would be a welcome step on a journey towards a desired outcome for Ndigbo and their place in Nigeria. In addition, the OP didn't say without Mazi Kanu leading the way Ndigbo are doomed and our fate sealed, as you imply in your post. |
