then let pastors go and walk on the sea as Jesus did, or raise people from death as Peter did, let's see.
The question is, why are some kind of miracles performed in bible not possible to be performed today or better still, why are some men call themselves men of God but they have never performed one miracle in their life before? yet they have hundred of thousand followers?

i may not take church seriously but that doesn't mean i do not take God seriously.
By the way, do you want christians to take religion seriously like Muslims? that may end up to disaster.
Look at boko haram now, how they take religion seriously to the extent of killing people. Is that how you want christians to end up?
please don't take church going seriously, you might not control yourself when you are offended.
that was how Peter got offended and cut someone's ear in the bible. He was taking religion seriously rather than taking Jesus seriously.
so, a better alternative over church is love in your heart everywhere you go

when God paid the ultimate price it was absolutely free. He never demanded anything from anybody,in contrast to pastors reading old testament to threaten church members that if they don't pay 10%, they are rubbing God.
If righteousness is not good why is it called righteousness?
Paul told christians of his generation not forsake the gathering of the brethren that is why it was written in the bible. that is for that generation where pastors were good.
But in this our generation, everybody now know they are church for themselves. That as much as Jesus is lord of the Sabbath, therefore Sabbath cannot always hold us down in buildings called church

i really do not know whether there are signs and wonders in churches today.
what i see is, a man was poor, tomorrow he becomes rich and buy jeep.

that is how God has his own free will to do whatever he want to do. No pastor or church can control him with their philosophy.
if he says he is not doing miracles again no church or pastor can force him to do

you can see that religion is absolutely nothing and do no deserve the attention that people are giving it

lf you are raptured you have lost contact with your love ones here on earth.
If people die, they also lost contact with their love ones

The funny thing about these rapture people is, they don't know what they want.
They want to be carried away from earth( when this happen , they will not be living on earth anymore. which is equal to death )
Yet they want to make money and enjoy this life.
so, they go to work and take their work seriously and forget about rapture, because they don't want to die

In bible days, men were CALLED to battle by the sound of trumpets(Battle call ),that it was time to fight battle.
1 Corinthians 14:8 says For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
so there was a particular sound of the trumpets that make people prepare for battle.
Note:There is time for everything. If it is not time for battle the trumpet will not be sounded.
Nebuchadnezar uses trumpet to gather or CALL people to worship a idol, that it was time to worship.
The Israelites went round Jericho seven times and blow their trumpets CALLING for the end of jericho,that it was time to end Jericho.
Therefore, the sound of the trumpet signifies a CALL at a particular time .
The point is that, when you die today, your death is a CALL.
a call by God, that your time has ended, it is a time to face judgement .
Figuratively, the bible uses the sound of the trumpet to represent the death of men.
For instance,1 Corinthians 15:52 says In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye(closing the eye at death and open it back to life after judgment, this one is for christians only ), at the last trump(at the last calling ): for the trumpet shall sound(for we will surely die ), and the dead shall be raised incorruptible(we will resurrect immediately after we die, after judgment ), and we shall be changed(our body will be changed,see previous verses ).
So when you hear people saying the trumpet shall sound, it implies that we will die someday by a way of God CALLING us using trumpet(figuratively ) , that our time to die has come.
This happen to everybody. Christians and non christians alike.
Surely, the trumpet shall sound, but that means we all we die someday.
But only christians will resurrect back to life to continue their eternal life immediately after judgment, as suggested by this 1 cor 15:52 figuratively.

By experience, it seems Nigeria is a nation of unteachable people. Both the south and the north.
Muslims are unleashing terror to poor citizens in the north.
In the south,the bible has everything thing to teach this nation right, but because our pastors are greedy people, all of them, they only teach nigerians the aspect of the bible they want to hear ,not the one God is trying to say. all because the majority of church members, 90% of the population, never had assess to university education.
For instance, pastors in Nigeria are still quoting old testament to obtain tithes and enrich themselves, at the expense of poor church members , meanwhile Christianity started in the new testament, not old testament.
Pastors are still teaching nigerians to wait for rapture and not to remain on this earth and fight for their right and enjoy their lives but meanwhile,
Jesus says their Christian religion or faith is already the heaven on earth
As a result of this, Nigeria still remain in a state of educational backwardness, poverty remains the prayer mindset of most Nigerian christians.
meanwhile, in the UK, a nation that brought Christianity to Africa,the same religion, they have standard schools affordable for their average children. life is sweet, no rapture, no end time.
The question is, when are we going to open our eyes and stop all these religious non sense of too much churches and mosques, and lead a pure life?

when people read bible, they intend to see what they want to see or what their pastors tells them in church rather than seeing what the writter of that Scripture intended to portray.

But you refused to see matthew 25:14 which says For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
Who is the man that travelled to a far country?
Jesus
who are his servants?
christians
what is the goods that he delivered to his servants?
Christianity
therefore, Jesus has died and resurrected and delivered unto us, the key to heaven, that whatever we bound on earth is bound heaven.
Heaven is Christianity on earth.
The kingdom of God (heaven ),according to Jesus parables, is our faith Christianity.
without Christianity our faith it is impossible to please God.
so, we are in heaven already
