tatacherie:Categorizing yourself as TTC sounds like mocking people who are looking up to God for their first child. I might be wrong, this might be a case of looking for a male child. All the best to you. |
This is to encourage everyone going through fertility issue because the thread has been very helpful. God will come through for you. I’d like to share my contribution based on real-life experience. Three months into their marriage, a couple discovered they couldn’t achieve pregnancy. After undergoing all the necessary tests, the diagnosis came back as bilateral blocked fallopian tubes. Their gynaecologist was direct: “You can only have a child through IVF.” Just like you came here to vent, the couple became regular visitors to the “Trying to Conceive” (TTC) thread on Nairaland, seeking advice and encouragement. They picked up different suggestions from other people’s experiences and decided to try some of them. First attempt: They used serrapeptase, two types of Chinese tea (names forgotten), and combined it with castor oil massages for three months. Unfortunately, nothing happened. Next step: They decided to follow the doctor’s recommendation for IVF. A hysteroscopy was done, followed by the IVF procedure. Pregnancy was achieved — but sadly, it ended in a blighted ovum. Back on the TTC thread, they began researching how to improve their chances for a second IVF attempt. They learned about certain supplements that might help and the wife started taking: Qunol Ovaboost Vitamin C Vitamin D Vitamin E Omega 3-6-9 After three months on these supplements, she did a hormonal assay in preparation for the second IVF. All hormones were within normal range — except prolactin, which was high. A medication to reduce prolactin was added, and she continued the supplements for a fourth month. During this time, their family doctor also advised the wife to lose weight. While taking the supplements, she engaged in activities to support weight loss. At the end of those four months, something unexpected happened — she found out she was pregnant naturally. How it happened, no one could explain. No test was done to check if her tubes had reopened. The takeaway? Learn from others’ experiences. Stay active on TTC platforms for valuable information. Remember that fertility challenges can be financially and emotionally draining — from tests, to medications, to supplements. Through it all, you must stay strong. All glory to almighty God. |

After working hard to amass wealth. Loved ones start fighting over it when one is gone. This brings the questions, does it worth it struggling to amass wealth. |
26M naira was not a small money 20years ago. 26M naira is not a small money today. 26M naira would not be a small money in 20 years time. People can keep converting it to dollars to argue that 26M is a small money. Social media no be reality. |

Kindly assist. While I was driving my Camry 2007 home this evening, the battery and ABS sign came up. I was able to drive the car home. I switched off the car and tried starting it again but it didn't come up. The light on the dashboard was coming up but the car won't crank or start. What could be the problem? |

Let your lifestyle commiserate with your income. Don't expect men to fund a lifestyle your earnings/income can't afford. |
Juwonmania:Twice daily. Morning and Night |
Juwonmania:Use Freeflow by Afroganiks together with Dr Quick. You can use the following supplement too. Zinc, Vitamin C (White), Vitamin E, B12, Folic Acid. Keep a 2hrs gap between the (Freeflow, Dr Quick) and the supplement. |
Nonny95:It simply means he knew his boss as no case and was just chasing shadows. |
I bought 5liters Mobil 1 5W-30 at a Mobil station for #48,400 last week. The 1liter sells for #10,500. |
KnowAll:These private refineries are not refining petrol yet because subsidy wasn't removed. I believe with the removal of subsidy, in the near term, they should start refining PMS. However, it is unlikely these oil companies sell their crude oil in naira. They have a lot of financial commitments in dollars so they need to earn in dollars. It will surprise you to know that even some government regulatory agencies receive their yearly permit fees in dollars. |
KnowAll:$1 million dollars you say?? Dey play, just dey play. FG granted modular refinery licenses to a number of companies. Funding has been a major challenge for many of them. Only a few who got the licenses then are now operational. The likes of Walter Smith, NDPR etc |
Successful candidates have gotten their offer letter. |
And what is the percentage of Nigerians that will be able to save 1million naira before they die? Even in the west, their citizens aren't rich in the context of their country but have access to credits and good quality of life. It is not about money saved rather it is about the quality of life people can live with the money they earn. |
Most people are dumb and can't do a simple research. Any good thing about Nigeria is always audio to them. This is a refinery that has been in operation since 2010. The company started out with a 1000bbl/day diesel extraction plant. In 2019, they expanded and currently have a combined refining capacity of 11,000bbl/day. Products like Diesel, Kerosene, Marine Diesel, and Heavy Fuel Oil are produced and sold to the Nigerian market. The company plans to start producing Petrol since subsidy has been removed and that is what was being made reference to in this post. But those who love bad news about Nigeria will call it audio. For your information, the company just rebranded from NDEP Plc to Aradel Holdings Plc. Do yourself a favour by visiting www.aradel.com to see for yourself before opening your mouth to talk trash. There is also Walter Smith refinery in Imo too. |
Let the poor breathe, don't suffocate them!!! More money for them to live the luxurious lifestyle. |
N3TRAL:Dey play. Just dey play. |
As a rule, only pay for a house that has been completed. Nigerians have a bad attitude of failing to meet up with their obligations of an agreement once they have collected money in full. You will be at their mercy and it will be one excuse or the other. |
President wan appoint 20 but governor wan appoint 50. No be juju be dat. If we can remove subsidy, what happens to reducing the cost of governance? |
SensualMan1:Why do you keep thinking one tribe is richer than the other? There are poor igbos and there are poor yorubas. Same way there are rich igbos and there are rich yorubas. Let's always make sensible comment devoid of ethnic bigotry. |
Anything that has to do with the education of a woman either single or married is her father's responsibility or her own responsibility respectively. Guys should know that. |

LibertyRep:Our people don't think. They just follow the crowd. |
At the end of the day, what is the percentage of those relocating against our entire population? Is it up to 5%? Make una let us rest with this japa story all the time. Are Nigerians the first set of people to relocate abroad? |
CivilEngineer90:Stick to the issue at hand. What is your business with his age or his source of income? na jealousy abi na wetin? Fight for your money and leave his personal life out of it. |
