cucumbae: The coronavirus virus test kits given to Africa are gift from jaque ma.It is the same test kits that tested pawpaw and goat as positive to coronavirus in Tanzania. The test kits are chinko made and therefore scam. This is not my line of argument. Not just anybody is being tested. You have to develop some symptoms before you get tested. Did she develop certain symptoms before calling NCDC officials to take her sample or her sample was taken forcefully? Why present yourself for test for a disease you don't believe in? |
Romance › Re: How Many Women Have You Had Sex With? (guys Only) by Prudency045: 5:10pm On May 18, 2020 |
Scaredd: I know this question sounds weird, but please don't get worked up a bit.
Alright, I'm 32yrs and I've been looking back the memory lane of late, starting from 18yrs till now, and I'm certainly not happy when I do a body count of all the women I slept with.
At least, I've slept with 45 different women, and some of these were beyond one night stand. This taught doesn't go down well with me, I feel I've been very loose with women.
So guys, how many women have you slept with? Including your age will be worthwhile.
As for those who don't have any or few body counts, I want to congratulate you and encourage you to maintain such habit. Sleeping with everything under skirt doesn't pay, I just imagine all the money spent on drinks, entertainment and what have you, and noticed I should have been building my house now, not to mention the health risk (I'm a lucky champ).
Once again, I ask my fellow men, how many women you don't hit? To even imagine I asked my new girlfriend if she was a virgin, is very laughable, if only she knew my body count.
cc lalasticlala Just 45? U be learner o ooo. I know people who have lost count. Come to think of it, na virgin wife dem dey find. Guys, we are not being fair to the ladies. |

Did she present herself for testing? If yes, why present yourself for a disease you know is scam in Nigeria?
Did NCDC officials forcefully gain access to your house to take sample for testing? If this is the case, it is understandable.
She need to answer these questions before I can believe her story.
Let us continue to adhere to safety guidelines so as to be alive to witness if COVID-19 is scam in Nigeria or not. |

Education › Re: Does First Class Degree Guarantee One A Job? by Prudency045: 3:45pm On May 10, 2020 |
The importance of good grades cannot be over emphasized. Having a first class degree is something to be proud of. However, don't let it get into your head.
During school days, first class students even have their clique and don't relate with classmates who are on 2.2 or 3rd class. Some of them were so full of themselves thinking their First degree equate to good jobs after graduation.
They realised that first class doesn't equate to good jobs during our IT semester. Only a few of them got good IT placement. While the students they looked down on got good IT placements. Some in the oil & gas, others in multinational FMCG.
Upon resumption for the final year, the first class students started relating with everybody. I guess they were exposed to the reality of life.
Even after graduation, the first class students struggled to get good jobs. Las las na Masters and PhD routes abroad be their best option.
Before you start saying I am beefing First Class graduate, I graduated with a 2.1( 4.35/5.00). At least I was among the best 15 students in a class of 120 students. |

edoman2016: I made an investigation. I discovered most so called Private estates in Lagos give Deed of sub lease to buyers. Except if you buy land from individual or omonile/family land, you get deed of assignment. These private estate companies are not to be trusted. Check your subscription form you submitted when you bought the land. Is it Deed of Sub-lease or Deed of Assignment that was quoted on the form? |
Properties › Re: Why Do Estate Companies Issue Deed Of Sub-lease And Not Deed Of Assignment? by Prudency045: 8:20am On May 09, 2020 |
Deed of Sub lease is issued in a situation where the land in question is being leased out to you for a period of time.
When you purchase the land outrightly, a Deed of Assignment should be issued to you.
Raise an alarm as quickly as possible. You may wish to involve a lawyer.

After getting all your evidences, present it to her and take your decision as it pleases you.

Kekereekun123: sure people are earning 3 to 7m in this Nigeria. I used to be an auditor and saw those fat pays. But for an entry level job with no experience it sounds and looks fishy It happens with companies in the FMCG sector. You are recruited with 0-2 years of work experience as a Management Trainee. You undergo training for 1 year and you become a manager. For these companies, their Management Trainees are the future of the companies. So the figures he quoted are synonymous to what Junior Managers earn in the FMCG sector. |

Car Talk › Re: Total Value Of Your Cars Relative To Your Net Worth by Prudency045: 2:22pm On Apr 29, 2020 |
demolagilbert: and yet a savings/investment culture trumps a credit culture anyday. Someone made a post on LinkedIn about the financial armaggedon in the US and the huge job losses, painting a grim picture of how a COO could end up working at a mall post COVID. 'Anything to stay afloat, till things stabilise, cos the BILLS have to be paid'. And truly it has already begun evident by the comments on the post by high ranking officials who are now jobless submitting that they truly will take any job, even if it rubbishes all efforts that grew their careers in the last 10-15 years. Why that level of desperation? It is cos debts will have to be repaid. Student loans, car loans, mortgage payments, even phones and computers are bought mostly on credit.
I take pride in that my car is mine 100%, and everything I own is mine 100%. I resigned at the height of the recession in 2015/2016, still did my MBA and got married. no shaking. Didnt take up another job till mid-2017. Took up another, and got transferred after 3 mths halfway across Nigeria, and three mths after the transfer I resigned again. Heaven did not fall. Till Jan 2019 when I took this current one. While, not everyone will be wildly crazily optimistic like me with my penchant for dumping jobs that don't make me fulfilled, I could have never had as much CONTROL over my life and life decisions, if I was neck deep in all manner of loans. Like the average American I would swiftly descend into a state of despair, willing to take anything. I believe strongly that we should be in CHARGE of our finances, and by extension lives.
A borrower is a SLAVE to the lender. To me, it is bondage. If it isn't for business I will never/pray to not ever have a reason to use debt to get personal tins done, so help me GOD. You are absolutely right. I strongly subscribe to your school of thought. To buttress your point, you see people spend all their savings or take bank loan to buy a car because they have job and can finance such loans with their salary. However, they often forget that you can lose your job at anytime. Imagine the current situation we find ourselves now. How can you finance a loan when you are out of job? How can you earn a living when you didn't save for unexpected times like a job loss period. Like people will say, you can't teach anyone how to spend his/her money. However, you must be prepared for the consequences of your actions. |

miltonchux: Oga you can't do without oil, if they don't use it as energy to power the Car, there are lubricating part that needs lubricant an greese. Our abundant Gas is also needed to Generate electricity. So leave all those electrical car story To buttress your point, why will Dangote be building a 650,000 bpd refinery when Crude Oil will be useless as being speculated in some quarters. For your information, marginal field operators in the country are also embracing the concept of modular refinery. Definitely, other forms of energy will come. But the question remains, how soon? Pending when the above question will be answered, Crude Oil isn't worthless yet. |

ignis: The most important factor in landing a good paying job now is connection. You have to know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody. Once you do, you don't even need to attend the interview.
In Nigeria, most people that finally lands the job did not pass through interview screening process. Even if they do, it's just for formality. Yes. You have to know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody. This is termed recommendation. However, the candidate will still be subjected to an interview and need to prove that the person who recommended him/her was right. I am not disputing the case of outright long leg as you are insinuating. |
