A nairalander supplied the aluminium window casement with burglary and sliding as well as iron doors. though he's yet to complete the supply of the doors and wooden doors too, but I can assure you i will recommend him any day any time. The plastering should start this weekend. will post pix as soon as i get them. We are using direct labour now to save more cost( economy) but we aren't relenting on the quality of the work

LOGIC...you meme still hasn't quiet reply my answers either. Someone studied a particular course and is not practising =useless course or useless degree which one is the answer sir
anonimi:
bros you still didn't answer the logical question i asked since.
am sure you are not a microbiologist, you are probably angry at the system, accusing some who knows well in this field of Bluffing is the height of it. i will leave it at that.
What most don't know of microbiology is that it is more of a practicability than theory. Being a makeup artist or a photographer or painter requires skills, so does microbiology. Most just read and cram and pour out in exams, when they are asked to practicalize what they have learnt it becomes difficult.
funny enough, the first practical lesson on microbiology i learnt was taught to me by an accountant! I can't forget bro toyin, he can culture anything, he didn't get a job and he decided to try out in a medical lab close by my area i happen to be doing IT there at that time.
funny enough the same thing you are saying of microbiology others too may be saying about their course becos they just didn't get a job immediately when they finished school. graduating from a course is one thing and knowing the practices of that course is another(am not saying those who graduated don't) but it takes more than presenting a certificate of graduation to get a job for certain profession.
your first degree makes you a learned individual thats the truth most people don't want to accept. what happened to all the Engineering graduates in bank, do we now say enginerring is a useless course? even those who studied "bush burning and hunting" in university won't say the course is a useless one if they know the 'art' well
that being said let me introduce myself

You CANNOT show the relevance of her four years (or more) WASTED money, efforts, talents etc on campus to her make-up/photography work.
If you can, start and state the relevance here.
Otherwise it is obvious you were bluffing about something you know NOTHING about.

I studied Microbiology . Loved the course however I will say the lectures and NSM are not playing their parts well to make sure that the graduate the send each year are being relevant in that field. The medical lab science have taken over the medical microbiology aspects now the science lab tech have taken over the industry and institutional laboratory. So if you are having just BSc on microbiology the society is making it difficult for you to fit in and nsm isn't doing much. I hv an MSc in microbiology, went for an interview in one of the federal universities to work in the microbiology laboratory I did well in the exams and interviews but was denied employment because I didn't have science lab technology certification or license. I been making moves to write the professional exam for slt but they body in Ibadan have been posting me saying the adimission forms are not yet out.
i totally agree with you. a whole lot has not gone into professionalism of the course. Hands on expertise is one and having certification to back up is another

Fun of advice of the day for IT students and undergraduate... Can you carry out Coliform test practically? If no get to it
its like you just spew the beans! Coliform test is too much. Let them just focus the microscope on a prepare a slide.

Well I haven't worked with my degree as well . I'm working as a beautician now( a job i didn't learn in school). So tell me if the degree I got ain't useless Presently
you might think the "degree" BSC is useless but the course Microbiology isn't useless. there are so many others too who studied a particular course as undergraduate but who are in a totally different field. that's my point.

Please can you explain HOW/WHY the four years (or more due to strikes etc) paying for and studying History & International Relations is relevant to her make-up/photography work?
Thanks.
so becos she's not practising means her course of study is irrelevant or useless in Nigeria sir/ma. Lets not start this here. The point is we all don't get head start the same time and that's largely or in most case due to our actions or in actions while in school.

My younger sis studied History and International relations and graduated with a good grade. She hasn't worked one day with her degree. Now she's into makeup/photography and doing very well. Does that make her course irrelevant? No
because You ain't practising doesn't mean its not worth the effort/time

WOW WOW WOW... I see a lot of frustration on the path of certain people who probably haven't found their feet solidly in the feild of microbiology in Nigeria. Admittedly, the NSM (Nigerian Society of Microbiology) is yet to gain grounds in terms of recognition and have full authority, which i know for sure they are working towards, that doesn't mean microbiology is useless as a course in Nigeria. infact i just saw some organization asking for microbiologist (though with experience ) and are paying well. The problem with us most times is we don't always want to start small, thats what is making course like it sell well. Paid/no pay internship, summer jobs is a way to boost ur CV as a microbiologist while in school, I tell you no employer will employe you now when you cant even operate a microscope to start with. Well maybe i will use this forum to enlighten us more on the field of mcb and oputunity that abound. Other courses such as Medical lab and co are almost taking our place but the field is so large.
am a practising microbiologist

Op seeing the the bends and co, with my little knowledge,i belive the contour is cause by the woods used for the carcass..the wood wasn't straight and I blive if the carpenter condemn it ,it would be a waste and extra cost to get more woods but that won't affect since it's not licking and as for the bends I bliv dat is caused by the way the carpenter step on it..op I know for long span aluminium, when sun hits the aluminium well it would still come out back no matter how much it bends..but I can't say for metecop or steptile cos I heard there wahala much...but u need not to worry your self that much on it..watch it for a week or 2 to see if it comes out and then if it no come out, then you can think of changing it..may God provide for you so you can finish the project
ok thanks for the insight and advise, will do just that. and a bug amen to your prayers. i aapreciate.

wow, this is definitely a wonderful work done considering the amount spent. well done. is any of your client for the electrical and plumbing in lagos. I have a similar work i just roofed and am even ashamed to mention how much i have spent. So i am really looking for ways to save and be on ground to supervise myself, cos the work delivered in my absence weren't what we bargained for.

PropertiesRe: Three Bedroom And Two Bedroom Bungalow Development In Alakuko Area by pseudomonas(op): 10:56am On Aug 16, 2016
few of the areas in the roofing I noticed weren't properly supervised during the installation or the installer deliberately did a shabby work especially around the back flat. considering the fact that am paying above what's obatinable as market price after survey. At the stage I really have to reconsider my options available to me.
Also the block involves breaking and rebuilding despite the fact that they have the plan with both supervisor and bricklayer.

Congratulations and weldone! Pls is this quotation for the 2 and 3 bedroom? because I was given a quotation of =N=3,971,900 for a twin bungallow of 2 and 3 bedroom.your response will be highly appreciated.thanks
haba 3million ke when am still angry at using almost 1mill. yes that's the total amount for the aluminium roof o. 0.45mm metocopo. if you add the cost of the wood work which is about 520k the total for the roofing will be around 1.5mil. except you are using stone coated roof tiles or step tiles, i dont expect your roof to be more than this cost, even after addiiton from some builders.
