Please someone help me tell the Iroko(but wonder if trees do hear) that he should always watch his back before making certain remarks. Did he resigned as governor while contesting for his 2nd term? This was the election he contested while controlling state funds, security aparatus and as a chief security officer where even the INEC Commissioner in charge of Ondo State is accountable to him. We are gradually learning from the Nigeria political process.

But wait for a while . . . This forum ought to do justice to the NGF play. We need to let the world know that a forum of only 36members could not conduct an election with clean hands and come out. This goes to confirm the President's fear that the NGF is bcoming too powerful and the govs are demi-gods. That's how some of our state's LG elections were conducted. I meanin A . . . Abeg i don port

maclatunji: As much as you tried to mask it, your hypocrisy shines through like a million stars. A sincere person would call on the government to curb all acts of violence.
well, where the govt tends to take sides, then you fight for your survival. I hope you hear the news from far away Osun state where Fulani herdsmen are wreaking havoc on the farmers and their farms but SADLY anytime they report to the Police they are arrested, detained and of course you know, bail out will follow.

Politics › Re: ACN Condemns Declaration Of State of Emergency! by psucc(m): 8:32pm On May 15, 2013
If am asked to write a chronicle (from a novice's perspective) i will never fail to mention Lai for his role in shaping the policies and actions of our govt as a true opposition. But of late, methinks that the respected man's romance with Buhari is influencing his role negatively. He should as well knows that eventhough he is playing politics, God has given him the mandate to shout out against govt policies that may not help the citizens. This task I must confessed he did so well before now. I used to say it that the ongoing merger will leave the opposition party more weak than ever becasue of conflicting interests and diffrences in idealogy. To say the obvious acN and CPC are never compatible and so their interface is a serious mistake. They would have been better if allowed to operate side by side. He should at least call a spade a spade in the President's declaration and rather politicising, commend him for just this one. We should be patriotic enough to condemn the evil act of BH as it has put Nigeria in bad light. Pleas somebody should help convey my message to Lai. Thank you.

baynix: Jonathan.. Baddest President Ever Liveth!! grin grin
Pls I beg that you through your heart in the ring come 2015, even if you start as a Councillor, people like you need be put to test. I bet you will never give pure water to your supporters. Not actually attacking your person but putting it straight to you that we need to also see the good side of others and not to condenm them outrightly.
Politics › Re: President Goodluck Jonathanshould Be Impeached - Joel Brinkley Of The LA Times by psucc(m): 6:38pm On May 03, 2013
common cut that off,we all no dat nobody can fix Nigeria in one day,but let him start building this country, and when the next person gets there,he would continue in the path of building this country, but the way it is;it is either Jonathan is c!ueless or under pressure and if he is under too much pressure,he knws the nxt steps;he knws what he should do.
Yes much as I agree with you that he must start something, we should also not put so much target for him as he himself may have his failings as a man. And above all, we must also agree that he is doing the best only that we are taking undue advantage of the social media to make Jonathan a scape-goat of past maladministration. Building will take sometime we must agree.

I don't blame the whites. Afterall, we swallow everything hook, line and sinker from them. This is why whoever wants to create awareness about himself must first comment on Africa. Why must our educational curriculla be developed based on topics in their own lands. This is why we are unable to solve our own problems because of the peculiarity of our issues. How many of our foreign trained engrs came home to build just a single machine. Do we ask why we must be importing ev'thing? Until we chart a course with a view to being on own, we may not be free. Nobody can fix nigeria in day, we should not heap so much on Jonathan.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Recruitment Into Nigeria Army by psucc(m): 7:35pm On May 02, 2013
I expected we treat the most important part of this recruitment exercise. Why on earth would Nigerian Armed (and the 'Armedless') Forcess be selling their recruitment forms, makes millions of naira out of the poor masses even when the Government is expending millions as budgetary allocations for the exercise and yet will only recruit few only start another sales. What is becoming of this once great nation?
Politics › Re: I ‘ll Contest Presidential Election Again In 2015 — Buhari by psucc(m): 6:46am On May 02, 2013
I think the Mod didn't sent my message across to Buhari. Please help me tell him that his ambition will be the only straw that will break the camel's(APC) back. That for him to even contemplate contesting is an automatic ticket for Jonathan no Jonathan will win unopposed. No matter what, Buhari will not win election in this present nigeria. He should sponsor/support any other candidate.
Politics › Police Go On Arrest With Matchete And Axe by psucc(op): 6:58am On Apr 26, 2013
Please, before I got it wrong, I wish to know if there is any enabling statute, law, decree, or command that permit our security agents especially men of the SARS, and other formations outside the regulars to carry other weapons such as matchete and axe(similar to those of cultist)? Most of the times, even on arrest of an armedless citizen who pose no threat or refuse arrest, they will first make sure they matchete you before arrest. Is this also right? Dont know if it actually happens in other state, but its the common case or issue here in Akwa Ibom. Or do our govt give them the usual out of record sanction?

I dislike shameless people that would stop at nothing to stand in the public to defend such facts that are both established and proven. The video is not a matter of clip or misunderstanding. Those who listen to and orwatch the live broadcast on AKBC radio or television were neither deaf nor blind. This is a statement that our Hon Minister of Infor Mr Labaran Maku could attest to or confirmed having been a live witness. We should learn to call a spade a spade. It is not only in Akwa Ibom that the Governor is "performing?"

To ev'thing there is a time and a season. Buhari should haveknown that there is nothing under the sun that is too good to remain forever. I prefer he supports some other person from wherever than contesting himself because for the upteenth time he will never win election again in Nigeria.
