Ogaemmy: Yesterday, I tried working on my longest call. Lost everything, then went back to it and hurriedly submitted a not too good work. I was smashed with a two. Maybe I have to wait for my laptop to work on longer calls.
Did you download the audios first, and did you run it through grammarly? I run all my transcript through Grammarly. And there is no need to hurry on a long call. You have enough time. I had 11hours on that call and I took two breaks. No kill yourself o |

safsoorg: Thanks a lot. I believe it was due to this:
Inverted/incorrect speaker label event 43149276
Of course, it makes sense. What we do is get you in contact with our consultants. So, they just lay out everything in black and white for you. Show you all the options and that way, you can get a good idea if it would work for your home. Oh, okay. Well, right now, I'm in the middle of a class. So, you'll have to call me back. You know, I'll just make sure we got the file correct and pretty quick. It will only take about a minute here. I could [...] quick.
That is the event in question. Don't know what I did wrong. Would appreciate my ogas having a look at it. You welcome |

safsoorg: Morning all, great job you are doing here. I have taken time to go through most of this thread and was equally able to read some pages of the previous one before it was taken down. I also printed the FAQ and went through some samples of transcripts on QA. My first attempt at transcribing resulted in a rating of 1 because of IVR(that I actually thought was transcribable as it was the only dialogue throughout and contained vital information). My second attempt was yesterday night (around 11 pm) and I received a mail saying it wasn't ready to be submitted for transcription. Here are the errors noted: -Reversed rep and customer -Non-adherence to TransTeam FAQ Format
-I understand the first error-type (even though I took the pain to keep pressing the enter key whenever I notice that the speaker does not correspond with the label, but obviously I must have done something wrong). -I don't understand anything about TransTeam FAQ Format at all.
I would appreciate all the help I can get as these two transcribed texts have helped discourage me. Thanks and God bless.
P.S: I just noticed that both customers and reps were talking at the same time and I typed both where I should have typed what the last person said. But I still don't get the second issue.
If it's reversed rep or customer. They will tell you at what event ID, so click and check where you made error and if you still have the 90mins to redo, u can correct your mistake. Because that alone is an automatic 1 |

brijibs: I'm in pain, seriously! Submitted a 13+ mins call on Thursday, the job was rated 5 after some days. Today, it was reaudited and rated 1. No rating notes or anything. I went to Slack and it turns out, it was 1 inverted speaker.
It really pays to proofread your work severally before submission. As much as time permits. Saw someone complaining about the same issue on slack. |

Biggieboy: My qa payment for this week.
It could have easily been over $90 if all my calls were rated before cut off...
Making $100 a week on qa is not really a big ish like some people here feel. Once u take ur time to study and find ways to improve then you'll definitely be able to cash out big on a weekly basis.
For those asking if qa transcription can be a full time; Yes, it definitely can if u put ur heart to it.
For those that believe the platform is rigged against Africans; I am an African(Nigerian) and I made $81 last week (minus bonus) with back to back 5 and 4 ratings. If you believe they edit ur transcript after u submit, trust me, you will get frustrated and won't be able to take full advantage of qa transcription.
The tin dat has really kept me going is the fact dat I believe whatever a filipino can do, I can do much better because I am a Nigerian Yeah. Good work! |
