Dude is no student of history. Any alien race with the technology to travel to our system is arguably a more advanced civilisation. Which is why every movie that assumes aliens have the same attitude humans have always had to less advanced civilisations is always about conquest.

It depends on what the story is, if it's more historical, I won't be seeing it...If it's more embellished and chosen to represent a particular time period(just to display their awesomeness), then I will see it, in a theater too...

You're thinking in my line of thought. Although, I was musing about Sango, Oya, Yemoja, Oranmiyan, Oduduwa and co as well as other Yoruba/Benin influential characters.
American Gods did try with the African roots (Yemoja & Oya) but focused more on the overbeaten slave trade stroyline instead of the awesomeness of African deities.

Marvel have a Nigerian Superhero lying fallow that I'm waiting for when they decide to being her to live action, most especially now that Disney is trying to be the face of Wokeness.

Our local producers that have the reach to carve into the Netflix/Hollywood niche as of now it's those with proper links like Ebony and Ebony will rather waste Netflix's money on flamboyance and razz with a sappy story line.

But the proper link up of our stories (such Usman Dan fodio, Jaja of Opobo, Oba Esigie, Sango, etc) with Netflix/Hollywood money, props and production will be too lit if it happens.

It had realistic arcs, great storyline, great acting, premium CGI, pristine writing.

Funny how The Boys everyone hypes and loves these days had a progenitor in Watchmen (2009).

Many people have forgotten that movie was the first one to give a realistic take on how superheroes would be in the real world. The dialogue, graphics, story, writing was GOATED.
Evil Superman, corrupted and selfish heroes, conspiracy theories, world domination, name it, the movie has it ALL.
