So I can't put myself in their shoes or understand why they do what they do...

So the entire concept of heroes has only made sense to me when I was a kid...

But if we look at it this way, after WWE conquered WCW, no company could compete. As of 2012, I only knew of Impact Wrestling, I've never heard of any other. This is 2022 and wrestling companies I know aside WWE are up to 10, excluding the indies, and most of their American fans being former fans of WWE. Whether we choose to admit it or not, WWE messed up big time. I would never have believed in a 1000 years that I would pick a company like AEW & NJPW over WWE, but this is 2022 and it's the reality. They are still the biggest, but for how long? 3 year old AEW does half of their ratings and even beats them in the demo. This is bad no matter how you want to look at it. Empty seats, pipeing sounds, bringing in old-timers for ratings, excess Saudi shows for profits, Vince even failed at monopolizing MSG as companies like AAA and NJPW have done shows there. It's clear even though it's gradual in process to see that WWE is loosing it's hold on the grip. A sports based product is the solution. This is not any groundbreaking idea, it's just COMMON SENSE. People are tired of watching a product they know to now be fake and is still stupid and illogical. Give them an entertainment product that mirrors a real sports pattern and you'll have satisfied customers. How long will it continue to cater for kids? Won't they grow and discover the truth? People are just afraid of admitting the truth for the obvious reason of CHANGE. Nobody wants to change. Me I want to change o. I'm tired. I'm tired of seeing paid wrestlers get attacked from behind on TV and no official has the power to stop it and the wrestler is not suspended or fired or even sued to court by the victim. I am tired of people interrupting other wrestlers talking to the audience like it was planned initially even when that should never happen in a real sport(they even have their music being played before they do that). Didn't management plan the whole show to not allow any interruption whatsoever? After all they are running on paid time. I am tired of people holding a mic and just talking without no official interviewing them. That's not how it works in the real world. I am tired of weapons in wrestling. You read it right. They don't belong in wrestling. Why is it called wrestling if you can use weapons? Forget that, answer this, why are weapons legal in a real sport? Isn't that too dangerous to be done in a sport? If no, can I be creative with my use of weapons? Can I bring an axe(after all a hammer is usually been used), a knife, a real sword and use it, a freaking rifle, a RPG if I'm not satisfied? Do you guys see where I'm coming from? The desire to write stories have blinded us from what the sport actually is.
It's time for the change, else pro-wrestling will continue to lose fans till it dies.
