Jet li performed great only in local movies like "fong sai yuk", "once upon a time in China", the warlords" etc but struggled in international roles like "expendables" and "danny the dog"... while Jackie Chan did good home and abroad.

jet li's acting was incredible in The "once upon a time in China" franchise but Jackie is an overall better actor. reWatch "the forbidden kingdom" again and you'll see that Jackie is slightly better.
