citizenisb: http://www.punchng.com/news/senate-passes-n4-9tr-budget-for-2015/
The Senate on Tuesday, passed N4.493tr budget for the 2015 fiscal year, about five months after it was presented by the Minister of Finance/Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
The national budget, which was earlier passed by the House of Representatives last week, was N51bn higher than the N4.425tr submitted to both chambers of the National Assembly by the federal government.
The senate approval of the budget on Tuesday, however confirmed the non inclusion of fuel subsidy provision in the document but contained N21bn for the funding of the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme.
The senate, in passing the budget, slightly reduced the N2.607, 601, 000, 300 proposed by the executive to N2.607, 132,491,708 as recurrent expenditure and simultaneously scaled down the capital expenditure from N642,848,999,699 estimated in the proposal to N556,995,465,449.
The Chairman, Joint Senate Committee on Appropriation and Finance, Mohammed Maccido, explained that the details of the figure approved by senate in the document were not different from the version passed by the House of Representatives last week.
He confirmed that the executive did not make provision for subsidy in the 2015 budget and that the National Assembly left it the way it was presented.
He said, “There was no provision in the budget for subsidy but I believe there should be provision for it especially since there was already, a disagreement between the oil marketers and the federal government over subsidy payment.” Hmmnn... I just dey laff. |

Themaingate: Lots of things make pc to hang and the most frequent of them is bad window, there are lots of bad window 8 around, loading window 8 to a pc successfully does not mean the window 8 is good infact out of 10 pieces of window 8.1 in the market it may be that only 1 or 2 will be okay. I have lots of them. What I do is to download 'untouched' window 8.1 myself and then use permanent activator. Using of these 200naira cd is totally out of it. Sometimes u may need to be formatting every 60days |

Themaingate: i5 is a high system and its not suppose to hang, i would advise you to copy your file to an external harddisk and then format the pc with window 8.1 , while formating make sure you create a partition D so that you can always keep your files there, even when the pc is giving problem you can easily format partition C and it would not affect all ur files in partition D . BUT if you dont like to format then you can download a good cleaner and clean the pc You mean I should change from windows 7 to 8? I don't have much on the laptop all I do is browse with it, don't have much in the laptop, not up to 500mbs And I recently change my hard disk from 850 to 500 could that be a problem? I don't know much about all these one guy at computer village that does it for me. |

GenBuhari: Now it has become clear that MASSOB is an American created and funded group to aid the the actualisation of America's prediction that Nigeria would disintegrate in 2015.
So we have Boko Haram (American sponsored and controlled) in the North, where America and France have started clearing towns that would broken off from Nigeria.
OPC in the West ( probably another American sponsored group)
MASSOB in the South.
So America is setting Nigeria up to explode at a time of its choosing, which it may be hoping to trigger with the assassination of Buhari or the overthrow of his new government.
What is ur problem with America. |

CHM11: They should start by relocating peacefully to the south east. They should all Leave Lagos and Kano if they don't want to co-exist.
Most importantly, they should NEVER add Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwaibom and cross rivers to their Biafra dream because WE IN NIGER DELTA ARE NOT IGBOS.
Success to the igbos as they seek their own country. God bless. Never read a better comment on Nairaland. |
