Gorrbachev:NOPE, this is the plain truth, can you disprove at least 30% of the questions I've raised? |
focus7:Really? Then why are your likes clamoring for the likes of BUHARI that did not carry out any constitutional obligations rather he SUSPENDED the Nigerian constitution and abused Human rights. ![]() |
LordMecuzy:Good, you cant then vote for the Commander in Chief of the Ragtag Militants you just talked about. I no mention anyone's name o. ![]() |
neuljosh:From the look of things, take away Boko Haram challenges and GEJ is the best president in Nigeria's history. |

1. Do you remember a time in Nigeria when food commodities like Beans, tomatoes, Yams and onions suddenly disappear or become scarce in our markets? How many times have you experienced this under GEJ's administration? 2. If you live or work near a railway crossing, do you or do you not see trains packed with passengers or cargo plying that route every other day? Was this the situation say 5 years ago? 3. How long does it now take you to travel from Lagos to Benin down to the East? 4. When was the last time you slept in a Petrol station where there was no ongoing strike action in the land? 5. Can you swear by God's name that you do not know (or heard of) at least ONE person that benefited from GEJ's YOUWIN scheme without any connections? 6. Are there massive construction works currently going on at Lagos, Enugu, Abuja,Kano and Port-Harcourt International airports? 7. How many federal universities did Nigeria have before GEJ's administration, how many do we have now? 8. Has over 100 modern Almajiri schools been constructed across Northern Nigeria or not? 9. Has Nigeria fully resumed the assembling of vehicles after an almost 25year lull, and do we now have indigenous car manufacturers being patronized by government and private sector? 10. Has electricity been privatized in Nigeria, and are you now noticing slight improvements in power? Do you honestly believe that new private investors in power sector can solve a 35year old rotten system in just a few months? 11. Do you know that Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) now acknowledges that Nigeria's manufacturing capacity has grown tremendously in recent years? 12. Did you know that Nollywood movies like 'Doctor Bello' and several others were funded with special media/creative industry loans provided by GEJ's government via Bank of industry? 13. Has contract been awarded and construction work started on the second Niger bridge? 14. If you live around Abuja/Kaduna axis, have you noticed a newly constructed ultra-modern standard guage railway line linking Abuja and Kaduna? 15. Can any government truly find easy solutions aimed at stoping multitudes of religious fanatical citizens that have embraced death and are ready to take others with them? This is not a thread for insults; these are 15 questions I'd like Nairalanders opposing GEJ to answer. Your honest responses are appreciated. Thank you. |
Aksonman:SECONDED |
Muscomide:Eh yaaaa...u are hurt shey? At least both GEJ and I attended an educational establishment, which one did Buhari attend? Nomadic education? Please, advise General Buhari to consider attending one of GEJ numerous modern Almajiri schools in the North, I understand they now offer adult education progammes. After he graduates,I promise to vote for him. Until then, it's GEJ till 2019 ![]() |
LastProphet:GEJ's revival of Nigeria's vehicle assembly plants alone has flawed all the achievements of any Nigerian leader from 1984 till date combined. I'll not even talk about Agriculture and manufacturing. ![]() Jona has tried, abeg. Let's Buhari make himself useful by helping us go negotiate with Boko haram! ![]() |
What did I miss? ![]() @OP YOU ARE TOO MUCH! |
One of the best articles i've read in a long while-quite balanced. God bless this writer. |
ayukdaboss:Adamawa state is a PDP stronghold, so what is ur point? |
baccaspace:Just yesterday, the all powerful Emir of Kano visited GEJ in Aso Rock for a second time just to make peace. What does that tell you? What Crude Oil is to the South is exactly what Agriculture is to the North and GEJ has improved on Agriculture greatly, ask farmers in Zamfara state. I've not even mentioned Almajiri education. So, it's GEJ till 2019 really. |
I endorse this report. |
At OP, this is just a sign of the crazy political times we live in. |
somadienah:what's your problem and how does your comment relate with OP's topic header? Were you one of those 'rejoicing' and abusing the President when you heard over 30 people had been killed in Gombe or are you now sad that the casualty figures has been reduced downwards? |
amobii:Why are people like u so silly? The constitution is silent on defection by Governors but very specific on defections by federal legislators. |
Like I said earlier, when the 30 something lawmakers defected last year, the PDP was more or less in crisis and factionalised with the emergence of nPDP. But now Tambuwal defected when the PDP is fully stable without any divisions. The constitution is VERY clear on this. |
What does the Nigerian constitution say about defection in the national assembly? Those making reference to Mimiko's defection are ignorant,as the Nigerian constitution subtly permits defection by Governors. The Law makers that defected to APC still have a case in court and as such the PDP cannot declare their seats vacant until there is a court ruling. BUT Tambuwal does not have any case in court challenging the possibility/outcome of his defection and so what the Federal government did was to apply the constitution to the latter. Tambuwal has defected from the PDP when there was no faction, division or crises rocking the party. This cannot be said for other lawmakers that defected when the so-called New-PDP was formed. Tambuwal has just ruined his political future. ![]() |

Forget whatever Sahara reporters say is happening in Mubi, I will always respect the Nigerian army. The FG's announcement of a ceasefire would have presented Boko Haram's leader Abubakar Shekau a great opportunity to mock the living day lights out of the Nigerian govt in a new video. Unfortunately or surprisingly it is the APC and their supporters that are doing the 'mocking job' for Boko Haram. A new video by Shekau rejecting this ceasefire would have proven to everyone beyond reasonable doubt that he is still alive. Perhaps, the video is still being prepared and will be released soon. I think this Mubi attack is just a way of frustrating GEJ's picking up of PDP's nomination form tomorrow. It gives the opposition an opportunity to say, "While Mubi burns, you are busy planning your re-election."...or something like that. May God protect us all. |
Lesson for Nigeria: please don't vote old or sick men into office. ![]() Source: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-29813612 Zambian President Michael Sata has died at the age of 77 after receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, the government says. President Sata, who was being treated in the UK, died in a London hospital on Tuesday night, media reports said. They said that he died after "a sudden onset [of] heightened heart rate". It is not immediately clear who will succeed the president. The issue may be decided by the Zambian cabinet which meets on Wednesday morning. "It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing on of our beloved president," cabinet secretary Roland Msiska said. His death comes just days after Zambia celebrated the 50th anniversary of independence from the UK. 'King Cobra' Earlier this month reports in Zambia said that President Sata had gone abroad for a medical check-up amid persistent speculation that he was seriously ill. After he left the country, Defence Minister Edgar Lungu was named as acting president. Vice-President Guy Scott has regularly stood in for the president at official events. But he is of Scottish descent and his parents were not born in Zambia, so he may fall foul of a constitutional clause on parentage which would nullify his candidacy. Known as "King Cobra" for his venomous tongue, Mr Sata was elected Zambia's president in 2011. Jump media playerMedia player helpOut of media player. Press enter to return or tab to continue. A lot of APC criminals on this thread are intentionally mixing this road up with Ejigbo-Idimu Road, which is the ONLY Federal road in that area. PIPELINE ROAD is a State road, cant you mofo see the signpost erected by the Lagos state government? Una no see the APC flag next to it? Propaganda will kill APC ![]()

source: http://naijanokia..com/2014/10/opposing-opposition-in-nigeria.html This is a major state govt road around the Idimu area of Lagos, this road has markets, businesses, churches and other viable economic activities going on there. The road has been this way for years and gets worse during the rainy season. PS: Notice the APC flag at the beginning of the road. Is this what to expect when APC wins in 2015?

cramjones:Confirmed Lunatic! |
Edygrin:I guess some lovers of APC just don't know when to draw the line between patriotism and party affiliation. Just look @Wale112 's response to my post on last lines of page 2, the shame of being busted on this thread just led the poor Ghanaian into a delusional rant. It really sucks to be part of a small insignificant African nation; THANK GOD WE ARE NIGERIANS O!!! ![]() |
Wale112:Charley,una don craze finish o! Hian... *runs away* |
BIG SHAME ON SELF HATING NIGERIANS. Construction has not even started on this Airport. The shameless OP posted digital models and construction sites from another country. Ghana, for now is too broke to even construct any new International Airport, they will have to wait for IMF's permission to build this new Airport. PS: Nigeria is already building about four new international terminals simultaneously, and IMF has nothing on us. ![]() |
I must start by commending the social media prowness of certain Buhari (APC) supporters. Almost simulteanously as General Buhari was just about concluding his declaration, these group of people stormed the internet like a plague. They opened multiple threads on Nairaland and Facebook suggesting Buhari's 'sudden' overwhelming popularity and acceptance by all Nigerians. They created ridiculous opinion polls and posted falsified results online. Most laughable were suggestions that Buhari would nip Lagos and the bulk of SouthWest. Even the notoriously biased Sahara Reporters joined the foray by sharing these delusional pro-Buhari threads and polls. I feel so sorry for Buhari's true supporters because this is just history repeating itself. In 2011, Buhari won all known opinion polls and threads on the social media; on election day he got the shock of his life. The poor man is being decieved once again by a group of internet savvy supporters who are 'once again' painting false pictures of certain victory for Buhari come 2015. Sadly also, in these pro-Buhari threads especially on Facebook, you read excited comments from many Northern youths that are obviously new to social media and may not understand that the thousands of positive reviews on Buhari may just be the handy work of a few tens of internet savvy young men. By 2015 when Buhari loses again, these sincere lovers of the General will be heart broken. As usual, the PDP is just quietly watching this social media circus and planning their ever winning strategies. My condolenses to General Buhari's true supporters; people, IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Politics is very unique game indeed. |
