ResidentSnitch: And the Nigerian military and state governments will watch them relocate comfortably without doing anything about it. You see the effect of the Muslim/Muslim ticket we warned you people about?
Iamzik: Exactly when we said don't present Muslim/Muslim ticket stupid southerners collected 20k and came online to defend nonsense. Una eye go see something
So there wasn't terrorism when we had Christian/Muslim ticket?. Was there no suicide bombings everywhere in Abuja and other northern parts of the country?. Markets, schools, churches/mosques were shut down under Christian/Muslim ticket. You Bitter people, una mind n0 g0 t0uch gr0und.
Makinde is hustling for Presidential ticket but his PR is doing a poor job. You forgot Wike & Fayose are your elders in this game.
Forget all the media talk, like his friend Bala, if Makinde sees Tinubu anywhere, he will bow. All of them, the Governors, they will bow, no matter your party.
Former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde N50 billion as support for the Ibadan explosion.
Fayose disclosed this in an interview with TVC on Friday.
He criticized Makinde for telling Nigerians skewed details on his conversation with President Tinubu.
“The president of Nigeria, yes, he wanted the sitting; he wanted the minister to be appointed. Circumstances did not allow him to get that slot.
“But you did not tell Nigerians you got, at the prerogative, at the mercy of Mr. President, 50 billion Naira in support of the explosion in Ibadan.
He never said that to Nigeria. So, the president can say the explosion is not worth more than 10 billion.”
Fayose alleged that the 50 billion Naira provided by the presidency to assist Oyo State in managing the aftermath of the explosion did not go directly into the state coffers.
“The 50 billion did not come into the coffers of Oyo state. It came with you coming to interface with the president because you came and said you met with the president,” he said.
He further accused Makinde of failing to acknowledge the president’s support publicly, stating,
“You only said the part where you said the president told you to ‘go and organize APC for me,’ and I said, ‘I cannot organize.’” But you did not tell Nigerians what the president did for you and did for the good people of your state.”
DAILY POST reports that accused Makinde of destroying the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West.
Recall that Makinde, in a recent interview, declared that he is not supporting President Tinubu in 2027.
No be only Egbin. Is the news about Egbin or Lagos-Escravos?. Wailers sef.
Meanwhile Egbin is a thermal plant and already awaiting gas supply.
The statement added that other thermal power plants remain available and on standby, awaiting confirmation of gas supply from their respective suppliers.
Meanwhile, "the finishing specialist" has quickly come out to embarrass himself, his mouth is way faster than his brain. One wonders if the minister was the cause of the vandalism. When the pipeline caught fire, FG informed Nigerians on the development, they immediately curbed the fire incident and began the repairs. This obviously affected power supply. And FG has once again informed Nigerians about the completion of the repairs. Is the Gbajue insinuating he's not aware?, or his media team that was supposed to inform him left all the weed to him alone?. This is why he will never become President.
fuckingAyaya: You are trying to divert the attention well meaning Nigerians from the US strike against terrorists in the north by fanning the ember of ethnic violence and tribalism😄😄😄😄 something Reno and Ffk would do anytime Donald Trump beam his torchlight on Tinubu incompetence 😄😄😄😄. Why are u bringing up this topic now? So people will remember the coup u haters term "igbocoup" you people are too predictable 😄😄😄😄 thank God IBB was alive to correct the narrative of what u term igbocoup😄😄😄😄
Audio strikes without any pictures, go and siddon abeg. A strike where unexploded ordinance were found on empty land everywhere, is that one a strike?. Bitter people licking assses. The audio strike doesn't stop anyone from talking about other issues. But we know why this thread dey pepper your body.
APC trying to cling itself to the strike is the most hilarious news of 2025.
That's why we told you that your Gbajue will never become President, no matter his desperation. How that bûffóòn could say " he welcome an invasion". Does he know the meaning of an invasion?, a low HighQ third class fraud. While his Coalition members are still blaming Tinubu for allowing Trump to take the lead , the Gbajue was talking about welcoming an invasion. You can see how these coalition members are contradicting themselves, no ideology, just a bunch of power hungry vultures.
PlasmaTV: Tinubu didn't do JACK. When Trump tweeted against the insecurity, data boys were jumping up and down shouting like rats. Now, they're trying to claim victory. A rare case of bipolar.
madridguy: Even though the strike against the terrorists is a welcome development, I'm still not happy that despite the fact we have been fighting insurgency for over a decade now, we are yet to be inspired to create or build weapons to fight them.
By now the FG should have been busy sending our engineering students to countries like US, Iran, Turkey, Israel and Russia to learn how to build drones and other gadgets instead of spending billions every year to buy.
The FG should also work on our borders.
God bless Nigeria.
Lol, you want to build weapons?, Is Ajaokuta steel factory working?. They killed our refineries, Ajaokuta, our Airline, our shipping line, our textile Mills. Our Defense Industrial Corporation is skeletal. And today, we're paying for it big time. Those wicked past leaders. And I hope you know drones have grades, we are not talking about the ones some people flying like a kite.
Okay fine, the issue of Offa in Kwara and Jabo in Sokoto has been clarified.
But we're still asking to see the images of the terrorists that were killed, how many were killed, how many sustained injuries, what's the current situation of the border route?.
The US cannot come here and deceive us with propaganda, this is a country that whenever they successfully carried out any operations, they show proofs and images. Why is this case different?
dominique: They're still on phase 1 ke? Will this project be finished in the next 25 years like this?
So you too is one of those who react only to headlines without reading the content of the article?. If you read the first paragraph, you would know the funding is for the second section.
Dogalmighty17: “A total of 16 GPS-guided precision munitions were deployed using MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial platforms, successfully neutralising the targeted ISIS elements attempting to penetrate Nigeria from the Sahel corridor." This is what the Nigerian government said above.
See lies. The US specifically mentioned the ship it used to conduct these strikes. Even down to the location of the ship and the name of the tomahawk missiles used. Hell, even the BBC, DW and Reuters have the same information on the ship and missiles used.
What is wrong with our government?
sirchim: Who takes the MU-MU govt serious anymore? No one, except their MU-MU supporters.
Read this below from the statements. Go school una say No, na bitterness and wailing una choose as una destiny.
The strikes were launched from maritime platforms domiciled in the Gulf of Guinea, after extensive intelligence gathering, operational planning, and reconnaissance.
Get it right, two communities was hit, Jabo and Tangaza. No terrorist was killed in Jabo, the missiles landed on empty land, innocent civilians escaped by the whiskers.
I said it previously that no man born of a woman or brought out through a knife can stop the tax laws being effective as from January. What was passed will be re-gazatted and all the noise makers and wailers will shut up. Tinubu wins again.
Thewrath: As if body has not been telling on all of us all these while, what difference will that make?
And why are you guys the only ones complaining, are you terrorists sympathizers or their sponsors?
Don't worry, na now body go start to dey tell you wella. If it was Nigerian Airforce, they would come out and give clarity or apologize. But who would hold US to account?, they strike and walk away. The next strikes could hit your family house, who will hold them?. Body go tell you.
TimeManager: Always the same story everywhere US has conducted one strike or the other. Indiscriminate bombings at the expense of innocent civilians. We actually do not need to US carrying out any airstrike on our territory, we demand they sell weapons to us without any prolong delay in delivery and without any stringent conditions attached. Our gallant military are more than capable to finish the rest.
-Kiss the truth!
As simple as ABC. They delay the procurement, they choose which weapons to sell to us and which one they won't sell, they determine when to sell to us, they also tell us where to use them and where not to use them. They make it very difficult for us to defeat these terrorists yet the same people are blowing hot airs all over, very hypocritical bunch of humans.
Lol, after all of you wailers previously claimed it was US that singlehandedly conducted the strikes. But now, you are changing mouth after it's dawning on you that US has embarrassed you. All of you must wear the shame like a badge whether you like it or not.
A Catholic priest serving at St. Kevin’s Parish in Ogbaku, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, was shot by unknown assailants on Christmas Day, raising alarm within the church and local community.
The attack reportedly occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday as the priest, identified as Rev. Fr. Raymond Njoku, attempted to enter the parish premises.
Fr. Njoku, the assistant parish priest, was said to be opening the church gate when he was suddenly shot by attackers believed to be kidnappers.
Eyewitnesses noted that the assailants were not seen in the vicinity and appeared to have fired from a distance.
“It happened this morning. He was trying to enter the gate, but before he could do that, a bullet from nowhere hit him", a source told local journalists in Owerri.
According to reports, one of the bullets struck the priest on his right arm, leaving him injured. However, he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment and is said to be responding positively.
“Nobody saw the people that shot him; it was like a stray bullet. Thank God he did not die. He has been taken to the hospital,” one of the sources said.
Further details from the Archdiocese of Owerri indicated that Fr. Njoku was shot while driving back to his parish residence. His vehicle was reportedly riddled with bullets during the attack.
“His vehicle was riddled with bullets, but by God’s grace, none hit any vital organ,” an official of the Archdiocese said.
“His right hand was injured. He feigned death, and the gunmen fled.”
The Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Archdiocese, Most Rev. Lucius Ugorji, confirmed the incident but said the identities of those responsible were unknown.
Meanwhile, the Imo State Police Command has acknowledged awareness of the shooting. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Henry Okoye, said the incident had not yet been formally reported to the police.
“Yes, I’m aware of the incident, though the church is yet to officially report the shooting. However, the Divisional Police Officer for Owerri West has visited the church to verify the claims. He has also requested to see the priest to aid the investigation,” Okoye said.
Police authorities say investigations are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify those responsible.
However, multiple sources, including local authorities, told Daily Trust that no airstrikes were recorded in the eastern part of Sokoto state, which has experienced banditry for over a decade.
We warned wailers and Bitter Obidients that the Modus Operandi of the US is to commit greater atrocities in any country they step into. It will reach all of una and body go tell you.
1 either this was a warning strike or mistaken coordinates.
2. There was a leak since Tinubu FG gave them permission to strike and leaked info to the terrorist or their enablers to flee that location immediately. Hence no casualties
The latter is more likely
Oh.. so Tinubu gave them permission now?, Was this what you said before?. See how this one dey change mouth now now now
Tinubu will continue to make all of you shameless.
You can imagine a terrorist that was jailed and locked up with his colleagues in Sokoto but (AI.Pob) are raising alarm over another terrorists in the north, what's the difference between (Ai.Pob) and ISIS. Una never see anything.
Nairaland had blacklisted my former method (E...P) that I used to call them out. Let's see if they will set the bot to attack this new one (AI.Pob) and ban me again. Anytime I mentioned the name of this terrorist group, they ban me. If they ban this new one, then this forum is officially sympathetic to (Ai.Pob)
Tinubu the wise man, weldone sir, I hail you. You do this one. What one million (Ai.Pob) cannot see climbing the iroko tree, you saw it while sitting down.
Aloy Ejimakor, lead counsel to the convicted leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has called for his client to be moved out of northern Nigeria, citing security concerns.
Ejimakor made the call on Friday via his X handle following reports of a United States military strike on terrorist targets in Sokoto State.
According to him, the development confirmed that Sokoto is heavily affected by terrorist activities and was never a safe location to detain Kanu.
He argued that the presence of terrorists in the area poses a serious risk to Kanu’s safety and urged the authorities to relocate him to a facility outside what he described as the “terrorist belt” in northern Nigeria.
Ejimakor stressed that relocating Kanu has become more urgent in light of the recent security situation in the region.
He said: “The US military strike against terrorists in Sokoto has finally confirmed that Sokoto is riddled with terrorists & thus was never a safe place of custody for MAZI NNAMDI KANU. It’s now more urgent that he be travelled outside the terrorist belt in Northern Nigeria.”
SarcasticWords: Why would a former U.S. Marine think this way?
Could it be because he once fought on the battlefield, watched his friends die, and nearly got himself killed, all because of a lie his government used to destroy sovereign nations and steal their resources?
A lie they are still using today?
Nah!!! He’s just a hater and a terrorist sympathizer!!!!
God bless Trump!!!
Who cares? God bless trump. we love america. Hurray!!!!!
👆 Mentality of some "highly intelligent smart educated nigerians''.
Point to the lies in what he said.. Who created ISIS?, the same elements Trump is saying he's fighting in Nigeria. The aftermath of US invasion in Libya leaving behind the trails of terrorism in subharan Africa. Is it the same Al Qaeda commander who was killing Syrian Christians and on whose head the US placed a $10million bounty. Same terrorist is now the beloved of Trump. You guys need to check your mental wellness, check your heads... Some things are not right upstairs.
