PoliticsRe: You Dropped Out Of University – Wike Blasts Ohanaeze President-General by Putindbutt(op): 1:26pm On Jan 03
Mbata is Fubara's puppet, he became Ohanaeze President through Fubara's endorsement. Mbata is a leech, he was crawling in and out of Wike's office, cap in hand when Wike was Governor. Today, he is butt licking Fubara to collect from the 600 billion naira Rivers treasury.
PoliticsYou Dropped Out Of University – Wike Blasts Ohanaeze President-General by Putindbutt(op): 1:19pm On Jan 03
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has criticised the President-General of Ohanaeze, John Mbata, for calling him a semi-illiterate.

Speaking in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni (ONELGA) Local Government Area of Rivers on Friday, Wike alleged that Mbata failed to graduate from Rivers State University when he was reading law.

He boasted that he, on the other hand, holds the fourth-highest national award in Nigeria and graduated from the University of Port Harcourt and Rivers State University.

Wike said, “Ordinarily, I won’t have bothered myself but I will say it. Somebody who was a former senator said the FCT Minister is a semi-illiterate but the same person dropped out from Rivers State University when he was reading law, he could not make it.

“I went to University of Port Harcourt, finished, went to the same university he dropped out and went to the law school, today, I’m a life bencher.

“The semi-illiterate has the fourth highest national award in Nigeria".

PoliticsRe: Obi Will Compete For ADC Presidential Ticket - Ex-National Chairman, Nwosu by Putindbutt(m): 12:36pm On Jan 03
He will compete with other VIP at the primaries, Lol. Honestly speaking, Gbajue is a cunny slimy deceitful politician. How can you be playing your gullible supporters like table tennis while they string along like a sheeple?. This same Gbajue was saying " I am in ADC but I remain in LP". While he was busy deceiving his supporters, sensible Nigerians could see through his delay gimmick that it was only a matter of time before he jump on bed under the sheet with his master Atiku in ADC.
Now that he has finally joined, their latest lie and propaganda is that " Obi has negotiated for the Presidential ticket in ADC". Meanwhile, the who-is-who in the coalition have stated clearly that the primaries will be open to everybody. The spokesman has reiterated that several times, Atiku's aide has dismissed report of his principal stepping aside for anyone. Ameachi has sounded it loudly that he will contest for the presidential ticket. A member of his inner circle, Tanko, has come out to say even if Obi loses the ticket, Obidients will still stick around in ADC. Yet some delusional Obidients are basking in the euphoria that he had already negotiated the Presidential ticket.
Sensible Nigerians know that his only realistic option is a VP slot to Atiku. Even at that, if care is not taken, Ameachi will collect the slot from him and Obidients will once again be reduced to premium tears.

Gbajue the tax master, everything he's talking about today, he did worse as Governor. He only has the guts of spewing trash because of some ignoramuses who either have a short memory or were never born when he was a Governor. Those are the set of people who have placed the fraud on a saint status.

Thank God you have exposed yourself here. Was Tinubu the governor of Lagos in 2009/2010?

No wonder you guys follow someone that screamed 'na statistics we go chop' because you can't interpret data.
You can't read a simple table because you lacked basic understanding. We have challenged you repeatedly over this. Tinubu took over in 1999, so tell us the poverty rate as at when he took over, till today, you couldn't, all you do is posting a statistics you can't interpret. Unlike Gbajue, who took over in 2006, when poverty rate was lower but increased poverty rate 8years after he left office.

May God continue to bless President Tinubu, you do not hate them but majority of them hate you for no reason. They were complaining, still complaining of marginalization for over 50 years of which past administrations did not bother to address. However, a listening President has done the needful to address the decades long of demands. He set up these development commissions for each region backed up by law. If this news happens to be true, it'd be a big shame on Mark Okoye, he came in with such a credible resumé but so far has come short of expectations.
As we speak, lots of SEners on social media are still attacking and demonizing Tinubu, spreading lies that the President has done nothing for the SE
The likes of Abaribe that should know better was busy playing politics and inciting the gullible that the President abandothe region until Umahi responded to his lies.
What's the difference between Malami who helped himself with assets worth of 212 billion, Seyi Makinde who pocketed 30 billion intervention fund and the management of SEDC who are being alleged to have done nothing with 140 billion. We no dey fear God in this country, acts of wickedness, greed and deliberate sabotage against fellow humans. Hopefully, this searchlight is beamed to other regional development commissions so as to expose all enemies of the state.

That's why I fully supported it when Cardoso revoked all the licenses of the BDCs, more than a thousand of them were shut down by the Govt. Those guys are the most complicit, they move money around for all sorts of illegality and atrocities. Just a few of them have been issued a license but under strict supervision. All their transactions are being monitored, that's why they were able to detect this funds.
I also remember that this same man was once arrested two years ago by DSS for forming a vigilante group for myetti allah. He was talking anyhow like Gumi under Buhari and was moving around with security details.

Of course, subsidy is over forever. Three years now, no unending queues, Queues re gone. Whereas when we were paying the fraud called subsidy, they would still make you queue on a long line like ants. Sometimes you queue for days, weeks, some people had to sleep in filling stations before it reaches their turn. It may reach your turn and you're told, fuel is finished. You then buy twice the price from black market who are acting as a feeder to the filling stations.

And for the taxes, that's why the new tax administration is meant to harmonize all the taxes while eliminating multiple and hidden taxes. Stop kicking against policies that will help you because of hate and inadequate understanding. Receive sense!

PoliticsWard Executives Sack Kwankwaso Ally As Kano NNPP Chairman by Putindbutt(op): 1:49pm On Dec 30, 2025
Dungurawa is an ally of Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano and national leader of the NNPP.

The decision was taken by 27 executive members of the party’s Gargari ward in Dawakin Tofa LGA during their second meeting after the general election.

The meeting was led by Shuaibu Hassan, ward chairman and Yahaya Saidu Dungurawa, the ward’s secretary.

According to the resolution, Dungurawa was removed for allegedly causing division within the party, instigating internal conflicts, failing to pay party dues, and making derogatory remarks against Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano.

The ward executives described Dungurawa’s actions as damaging to the party’s unity, image, and progress.

They said the move was in line with the party’s constitution and necessary to maintain discipline and cohesion.

In a statement, the executives said copies of the resolution have been sent to the NNPP headquarters at the local government, state, and national levels.

“A total of 27 executive members signed the resolution endorsing the decision, which was reached during the ward’s second executive meeting held two weeks after the general election, under the leadership of the Ward Chairman, Shuaibu Hassan flanked by his secretary Yahaya Saidu Dungurawa,” the executives said.

“Dungurawa was removed over allegations of creating divisions within the party, instigating internal crises, failure to pay party dues, and making abusive remarks against the Governor of Kano state.”

The executives said Kwankwaso and the Kano governor have been informed of the action and “further directives”.

The Gargari ward executives said the sack serves as a warning to party members who abuse their positions or believe they are above party rules.

They reiterated their loyalty to Kwankwaso and pledged continued support for the party governor. The executives also reaffirmed their commitment to peace, unity, and advancement of the party.

From Alliance to Fallout: How Internal Power Struggles Are Driving Gov. Abba Yusuf Away from Kwankwaso
The political landscape of Kano State is poised for a major realignment as Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf prepares to formally sever ties with his longtime political benefactor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Fresh information obtained by POLITICS DIGEST indicates that the governor is finalising plans to defect from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on or before January 6, 2026. If the move materialises, it would leave the NNPP without a single sitting governor nationwide—marking a significant setback for the party.

Roots of the Fallout:

Alleged Succession Plot

Credible sources say the decision is largely driven by an alleged plot to deny Governor Yusuf the NNPP ticket for a second term in 2027. Insiders claim that a powerful faction within the Kwankwasiyya movement has convinced Senator Kwankwaso to replace Yusuf as the party’s gubernatorial flagbearer.

This group—described by sources as a “Kwankwasiyya cabal”—is said to include the deputy governor, a serving senator, the governor’s political adviser, the state party chairman and a commissioner. Their influence, sources say, has widened the rift between Kano’s two most influential political figures to a point many now consider irreparable.

Corruption Allegations and Growing Tensions

The relationship, which reportedly began to deteriorate in 2024, was further strained by Governor Yusuf’s efforts to confront alleged corruption involving individuals close to Kwankwaso. Investigations by POLITICS DIGEST point to three major controversies that deepened the divide:

The NOVOMED Procurement Case: This involved the alleged procurement of drugs for the state’s 44 local government areas without the governor’s approval. Although the Kano State Anti-Corruption Commission was directed to investigate, the case—implicating the deputy governor and a nephew of Kwankwaso—has reportedly stalled.

Foreign Scholarship Fund Allegations: More than ₦1 billion was allegedly diverted by a member of the inner political circle. The suspect is said to be under investigation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and has reportedly begun refunding the funds in instalments.

Local Government Election Nomination Fees: The political adviser and state party chairman are alleged to have diverted hundreds of millions of naira in nomination fees into a private company account linked to the adviser.

A Strategic Defection with Numbers

Governor Yusuf is not expected to defect alone. Sources familiar with the plan say he is set to move with a substantial segment of Kano’s political structure. These reportedly include at least 35 of the 44 local government chairmen, 19 of the 27 members of the Kano State House of Assembly, 10 of the 13 members of the House of Representatives from the state, and 23 of the 30 commissioners.

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly is among the senior lawmakers said to have already endorsed the planned defection, ahead of the APC’s congresses scheduled for February.

Leadership Reconfiguration: Rurum Emerges

The anticipated defection is also expected to trigger a reshuffle within the state’s political hierarchy. Party insiders say Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, a former Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly and current member of the House of Representatives, is being considered as Governor Yusuf’s preferred deputy under the APC platform.

Rurum, who commands considerable influence in Kano South, is viewed by strategists as a more politically advantageous choice to balance interests within the APC and strengthen Yusuf’s prospects for re-election in 2027.

As political calculations intensify, all eyes remain on Kano, where the unfolding developments could significantly reshape not only the state’s power dynamics but also the broader opposition landscape ahead of the next general elections.
