Politics / Re: Nigeria Will Work If South East Works - Vice President Shettima by Putinofrussia: 5:32pm On Feb 28 |
Calylove:Igbos are trying but they don't know how to do business. They always run down their businesses. You cannot see any of their businesses that has existed for even up to 35 years. Even their group investment like the Odua investment has been run down. Why would you want me to trust my business or entity with someone that lacks resilience? What is also apparent is that they don't have tangible businesses abroad. They are just like a flash in the pan. To my mind,I think they are trying but not business savvy. |

As much as I like the Northerners, they brought Nigeria to this sorry state because they depend solely on "eating" govt. Most of what would have moved Nigeria forward, they will say No. Restructure...No Oronsaye...No Cconfab...No This..No That...No Most of those MDAs etc were created just to accommodate the "eaters" with no knowledge. Sometimes,I pray that Nigeria should just divide so that everybody can go to their camps. |

I just left him jejely and went to the next shop where I bought it for 2 for ₦50. Since last week till date,it has been 2 for ₦50. Massiveglory:I watched the video. It is not a new video and I don't think it is for the hardship. Moreover,Yorubas intentionally protested because there is hunger caused by high cost of living in Nigeria. Yorubas have always been the tribe that always protest against previous govt when things are difficult, they did against Babangida,Abacha etc. It will be bad and a grave tribalistic behaviour if they don't protest against Tinubu because he is a Yoruba man. As for hunger,Igbos have always had increased hunger and in their region. This is why they run and escape to the rich SW to sell gala, chewing stick, bra etc in the traffic. Some of them begging their rich SW hosts for alms. |

Nice2023:Yorubas make it anywhere they go more than Igbos because they are friendly and more business savvy than Igbos. I can name 8 to 10 Yorubas that have multibillion dollars businesses abroad now but no Igbo. Even as Igbos flee to the SW,Yorubas still established businesses in Igboland. The biggest mall in the SE,Polo Park was done by a Yoruba,Yorubas have banks FCMB,GTB,FBNH,Wema Bank etc,Chicken Republic,Animal Feeds,Rites foods,Honeywell,Vitafoam etc in Igboland. FromZeroToHero:A drunk Well, there is high cost of living. A Yoruba man because there is a Yoruba president, kwa? All these stupid videos can be easily done by even Igbo persons born in Yorubaland ( we have them in millions) who can speak Yoruba fluently. He could even be Yoruba but hates Tinubu's gut. We have them too in millions. If Yorubas who are the richest in Nigeria and abroad say there is hunger in Nigeria, then there is but what Yoruba will not do is flee to Igboland where there is INCREASED HUNGER. Igbos flee to the SW where there is less hunger and prosperity. So save us the wailing.

OredoPikin: It is not good to swear but for the truth. I swear with my life that I have never met or seen Tinubu physically in my life,I am not in APC or any WhatsApp group or any such foolishness or even any other party because I fear them. I voted for Tinubu and still stand by him even if everybody leaves him. He has a rare gift that I have not seen any other politician possess...those we know of course.. I researched about Tinubu and Obi..the two people I decided to vote for and I saw that,in my opinion,Tinubu was far above Obi in positive antecedents. I eventually voted for Tinubu. Some of my friends call me Emilokan Most of you do not research or find out about what you intend doing that is why you say things you cannot substantiate. These are some of my findings about Tinubu which I also verified. ................................................................................... Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his 8-year reign as the governor of Lagos state pioneered various reforms in the transportation sector all of which includes road transport, railway transport, water transport, and air transport. Bola Ahmed Tinubu pioneered the creation of Lagos State Bus Rapid Transport System Lagos with the first phase designed to commence from mile 12 to CMS. LAGBUS as well as the establishment of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) with 200 motorbikes, eight heavy-duty tow vehicles and modern communication equipment to enforce discipline in Lagos roads. A whopping amount of N14 billion was expended on 417 road construction projects spanning 250 kilometres across the state in the first three years of his administration. 255 of these roads were already completed at that time while others were near completion. Construction of Adeola-Odekun Dualisation of Ikorodu-Itokin-Epe Link Road Dualisation of Ejigbo-Ajao Estate/Airport Road. Dualisation of Mende/Opebi Link Road. Expansion of Badagry Expressway. Also during the first three years, six strategic roads were upgraded to dual carriageway status complete with streetlights, drainage channels and walkways. They are Ikotun/Igando Road in Alimosho, Kudirat Abiola Way in Ikeja, Akin adesola Axis in Eti-Osa, Itire-Lawanson Ojuelegba-Yaba Road in Mushin, Surulere and Mainland LGAs, Awolowo Road in Eti-Osa, and Lagos Island Local Governments Areas, and Moshalashi-Agege Motor Road in Mushin Local The government began laying the foundations for the megacity goal of the state and this brought about the revival of so many sectors in the state of which transportation was one. Asiwaju resuscitated the moribund Lagos State Ferry Service by rehabilitating the grounded five ferries in the fleet namely; MF Babakekere, MF Jubilee, MF Ologe, MF Topo, MF Illo, and MF Omu all having the capacity to transport over 1000 passengers. Asiwaju carried out the dualization of Oregun road. Asiwaju created the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (LAMATA), a public-private partnership agency, as a way to reform the transport system in Lagos to create a world-class intermodal integrated transport system for the megacity goal of the state. Revival of the light rail network by Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of the Greater Lagos Urban Transportation Project. The blue line of the project was designed to run 27.5km from Marina through Okokomaiko with 13 stations and an end-to-end journey time of 35 minutes. The redline is designed to run from Agbado to Marina, it will share the right-of-way of the Lagos-Kano Gauge. Politics / Re: Onanuga: Issues Raised By NLC Has Been Addressed, They Have A Hidden Agenda by Putinofrussia: 7:14am On Feb 26 |
OredoPikin:No,but I believe it will get better with the reforms which are making things difficult now but will ease off pretty soon. Don't say Buhari also said this. Tinubu has the antecedent of growing both living and non living things. When I read about him,he had that initial problem in Lagos too with the paucity of funds but he overcame and laid a strong foundation for Lagos to become the 5th economy in Africa. His goal is for Nigeria to be a Trillion Dollar Economy and that will happen even before 7 years from now. |

We have Nigerians in Texas that are in business and doing well for themselves and the country. Mr Niyi John Olajide is one of them. The govt should enable a conducive environment so they can bring their wealth home. I know one of them that has a popular firm in Nigeria and another that has a bank in Dallas and has business in Nigeria also. 4 Likes |

Politics / Re: APC Mourns Member, Others Who Died In Custom Rice Stampede by Putinofrussia: 5:33am On Feb 26 |
Stupidity is when you tell people to come and get their needs (which almost everybody wants) without providing an orderly way of receiving and arranging them in order to prevent stampede. I remember the one that happened during former president Jonathan's period, more than a thousand people died. Our foolish politicians never learn and the equally dumb people do not learn also. Why risk your life when you see that there is too much crowd, stay away or begin to protest for the organiser to provide an orderly environment. I heard from some elderly people that in some places they used NIN and it was superbly successful. The coordinator in that area where the deaths happened should be apprehended and punished for deterence.. 1 Like |
