Shior
The coalition of the forces of darkness can go to hell for all I care.
They didn't issue a joint statement when IPOB/ESN were burning Police stations, burning Courts and INEC offices, killing both security personnels and civilians.
Same thing occured during the infamous Endsars insurrection, they turned a blind eye to the arson, jailbreak and gruesome killing of security officers perpetrated by the irate but coordinated protesters but were busy hyperventilating on a bloodless, nameless "Massacre".

They're running from pillar to pole because a private organization was sanctioned.
There must be more to Twitter than we know.

Maintain law and order by trampling on the fundamental rights of Nigerians over the deletion of a tweet? Could this not have been better handled diplomatically? This is just akin to throwing the baby away with the bathwater.
No fundamental human right was trampled upon, if there's any, it's the right of the president of the largest black nation that was trampled upon, by deleting his "arguably harmless tweet" while leaving the field open for terrorist and enemies of the state to peddle their false and propaganda thereby inciting people to take up arms to kill and destroy...The use of twitter is not a right, and the right to freedom of expression does not start nor end with Twitter. Before Twitter Nigerians expressed themselves and after Twitter Nigerians will still do as we are doing on this platform.
Diplomacy is not in the vocab of double standard Jack, he simply goes with the vocal majority to harness traffic.

In essence you admit its a wrong decision to mute the voices of 200million people and trample on their fundamental rights because a tweet was deleted?

I've seen several celebrities delete their social media accounts when they feel they have been offended or their rights violated.

In a democracy would it not have been more sensible for the presidency to delete his account and order his ministers to follow suit in protest rather than ban a whole platform from innocent Nigerians

So what next? Ban CNN and BBC when they report news unfavorable to the government? Why doesn't the government register their complaints on the behaviour of Twitter with the US government instead and ask them to intervene

Let's be calming down please. Yes the government has every right to express their displeasure but this could have been better handled.
There are less than 2million Nigerians on Twitter (including duplicated Account). That's less than 1% of our population.
When an international organization becomes a law unto itself (sentimentally and hypocriticlly determining what is right or wrong with double standard) and a willing tool in the hands of terrorist and purveyors of hate and fake news, then the government is left with no other options than to maintain law and order.

You think decisions taken at Twitter is solely by Jack?

When Twitter deleted Trump's tweet, the US govt suspends Twitter, right?

The govt should take the issue up with Twitter and not bring Nigerians into it.
This is an abuse of power
The bulk stop at his table. The US government can determine what's good for them or not and we all saw how Jack rose to defend the US against Capitol Hill invaders whereas he was a major supporter of violent protest in Nigeria and Hong Kong.
Jack is simply a business man who will always side with the online mob majority irrespective of the consequential threat to the security and Sovereignty of any nation (except US). It's all about traffic. Creating a symbol for Endsars, Echoke, Davido@10, LGBT etc are all business strategies. It's the responsibility of nations to
draw the line or get burnt.

Less than 2m (less than 1% of Nigeria's population) "Vocal" Nigeria Twitter users (including duplicated Accounts) does not depict the whole 200M Nigerians, so please don't overestimate TwitterNG. They're a vocal negligible minority.

Must every world leader be on Twitter or social media at large ?

Why is global leader disseminating information via free app?

Twitter hold the right to determine what’s best for their community and what’s not.
And Buhari also hold the right to determine what's best for Nigeria by suspending Twitter indefinitely in his domain. We can all be mad together.
If a single man (jack) can unilaterally determine what's permissible or not with his brazen double standard and hypocrisy then a government of over 200M people (voted into power by over 15M voters) also possess the right to kick their ass off.

“I immediately ran then I discovered that

“I saw men of the Nigerian army. Later

Let the former MD himself bring evidence that shows Tinubu owns the company na, when he's in court to take his supposed 30% share and he also state under oath that other two people owns the remaining shares of the company.

Out of 200 million people in the country the former Managing Director of Alpha Beta, Dapo Apara, that got the monopoly contract to collect taxes, says Tinubu is the owner and money was being laundered to his various company and you say otherwise. He has the bank records and bank account numbers the money was laundered through.

Why wasn't money going to Ambode or Fashola companies. Why only Tinubu companies clown? You know nothing about money laundering.
You still don't get what money laundry means...What Alpha beta does for Lagos State is validly backed by law just as FG and Remita.
So how Alpha Beta chooses to spend it's profits is nobody's business. If Remita chooses to give you all his profits it's nobody's headache.

Tinubu was smart enough not to be directly linked to the firm, even Apara himself said it that Tinubu's proxies (Doherty and co) were the people involve with the company.

Dapo Apara case was majorly based on breach of agreement (he was supposed to have 30% share), all other charges were addendum

Nobody listen to Dem say Dem say in law court.

Alpha beta transferred money to TVC and so what? Do you know the number of corporate bodies that transfer money to media houses on a monthly basis. Even Dokpesi of AIT was acquited by court despite receiving money from the office of the NSA.

And just to let you know, TVC is a distinct entity that can sue and can be sued Independent of the supposed owner. Check the case of the Sun Newspaper/Orji Kalu Vs EFCC

If Tinubu tried to award a contract to a company he owned in Exxonmobil, he would have been fired and lost his pension benefits.

Key facts about Alpha Beta Consulting-
-It was registered with CAC in 2003
-It received monopoly to collect taxes in Lagos in 2003 when Tinubu was governor.
-There was no competitive bidding and even if there was no company would have won against Tinubu's company.
LOL...You created two threads about Peter Obi but opened Dozens of thread about Tinubu, did you how hypocritical you're?

Can you show us how Remita won the open bid and the other companies that applied for the bid?
Remita only provides a payment platform, but receive billions from NNPC, NPA, NIMASA, CBN etc but you have no qualms with that.
Is Tinubu on the board of Alpha Beta?
Or is there a direct link between him and Alpha beta aside oral evidence?
Politics / Re: Open Bidding VS Nepotism: Remita VS Alpha Beta Consulting Commission Percentage by PVision2020(m): 4:47pm On May 02, 2021
RuudVanNisteroy:

If Lagos state did an open and transparent bidding process the commission percentage will have been similar to Remita percenttage. Alpha Beta was founded in 2003 the same year they received the monopoly and 10% commission written into law.

Unlike Systemspecs which had prior experience and was reknown as I.T experts in their field. Alpha Beta had no prior experience as it was founded only about 6 months before they received the contract.
Did Peter Obi carried out an open bid before investing billions of state funds in his family's Ogogoro business?
You should know that 1% of the revenue of NNPC, CBN, NPA, BANKS and all Federal Agencies is still far greater than 10% of Lagos revenue.
And also while Remita is merely a payment platform, Alpha Beta is a consulting firm. It's like you telling Anambra state government, "I can give you ideas & innovation to help you triple your revenue at a cost".
The time and energy you use in your Tinubu obsession would have been put to better use in salvaging the SE from the charlatans and misfits you've been electing since 1999. But you guys (SADeast) are known for taking Panadol for others headache while ignoring the brain tumor affecting you.
