Again, Israel was also part of Egypt, so the Israelites would have been running to nowhere. The "Pharaoh" was also the ruler in Israel.

Yes, the passover festival may have originated from the myth of crossing the red sea. Similar festivities originating from mythology are commemorated by other cultures around the world, so it doesn't mean the passover is celebrated because there was an actual "dividing of a red sea" for them to escape a Pharaoh.

The dead sea scrolls simply confirmed that part of the bible stories had at least been around since the first century AD. That's all it does.
There was no nation of Israel then both geographically and Political/Sovereign wise, so I don't know which Imaginary Israel was under Egypt and Pharaoh.

You want me to believe your mere assumption without evidence against the oral and documented history of a people (Israel) abi?

Egyptian history says slaves did not build anything in Egypt. For example, the burial site of the men who built the pyramids have been found. Inscriptions show they were professionals, were fed well and paid well.

Secondly, there would have been no need for an exodus because the distance between Egypt and Israel is just about 640 kilometers. Its just a walk of one or two days. So, with just this, you see the bible is lying when it says the journey was expected to take 40 days and 40 night to get from Egypt to Israel. Even a baby can crawl from Egypt to Israel within 7 days and 7 nights. Unless they crossed the sea from Yemen. But then, that would bring me to the last point below.

Finally, the place called Israel today was also part of Egypt in ancient time. So, again, there would have been no need for an exodus, in the first place. In fact, the Israelites didn't even need to cross any red sea because there was a land bridge there linking Egypt and Israel until about 1869 when Britain and France built the Suez Canal so they could cross the sea to steal more from India and other nations.

The exodus story never happened, rather its mythology taken as history. The names of real pharaohs (Tahaka and Shiskank) connected with real or unreal events were at least mentioned in the bible book of Kings.

Attached is map of Middle East showing Egypt and Israel. Red dots are Cairo and Israel.
Since the days of Moses till today (The Jewish Passover actually ended on the 4th of April), Jews (who aren't Christians) all over the world celebrate the Passover and it's a national holiday in Israel. And it's history is well documented in archeological findings (Qumram cave scrolls and parchments).
Your assumption that the Israelites lived in Cairo (a city founded in the 900's AD) is funny to say the least. Of course it takes few days to travel to Benin republic on foot from Badagry but imagine thousands of people (including children, cattles and properties) traveling from Ojudu Berger to Benin republic.
And again the excape route is not always the shortest route but the Safest route.

The CCTV tape has been played with no evidence of massacre. If the thousands of protesters there that night with almost all of them with Smartphones can't give us a picture or video to support the massacre narrative, then I think we should rest this case....

Who ordered the shooting doesn't translate to a massacre, that's not too much to understand.

Please don't allow emotions and the mob/herd mentality deprive you of common sense. You don't need eternity to substantiate a massacre, it's self evidential. If massacre in the early 1700's can't be swept under the carpet, tell me how we'll be needing binoculars and microscopes to see the audio Lekki massacre in this smart age?
All the mass killings that happened in Nigeria either by the government or criminals came with evidence. But the supposed scene of of the audio massacre has no blood stain, no dead bodies, no bullet holes on adjoining buildings and structures, and 5 months after the event we are yet to see a family or friend of the audio victims approach any panel or court to seek restitution and compensation, they prefer the social media court where they abuse and curse everyone who differ with their unsubstantiated narrative.

You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time.
For over 5months we asked for evidences (Names, pictures, Videos, Families, Friends) but we got none but emotional blackmail.
A panel was set up, but none showed up since they refer Twitter Justice to millions in compensation and Justice.
Even massacre in the 1700's came with evidences, but our "woke" sorosoke generation want to force a massacre narrative down our throats without evidence in this time and age?

It's day break, Your Lekki lies are bursted and shredded to pieces.

Your first paragraph below support my assertion!

Your second paragraph shows you just write to support your argument without a deep reasoning! And that's why they lost both at High court and Appeal Court!

Try and get the judgement and read it thoroughly because the same stupidity you're celebrating online for everyone to see was the same lame and erratic argument put forward by your defense team! Get that of Lagos and see what happened too?

See till tomorrow, you will continue calling Muslim and Islam names that suit your rotten mind! But pause for a minute and be reasonable in your life!

There is Church in a Muslim school as I claimed earlier (ask around), CRK/CRS was taught in a Muslim mission school too. Just be honest with yourself, will your people allow that? Ordinary a cover, you people are gloating around! This was the same way mother of Jesus dressed and some orthodox in part of Europe still dress the same way till today!
And you will be shouting you people are peaceful! Muslim are violent!

First, Lagos already returned mission schools to their rightful owners...the church.

Christianity is not a religion under the slavery of culture, that the Jews (Arab) dress in a particular way doesn't make it a standard dress mode, unlike some people who put on masquerade dress in a sunny West Africa because someone in far away Saudi Arabia dresses that way.

thaqib:

Two points just to note

1 Hijabs are part of dressing of Muslim women in all places. Not a religious garment for mosques. Its compulsory for them. Since that is protected by the fundamentals human right, so be it.
U can then say, the hijab must be red or white or whatever to conform with the school uniform, that's fine. U may also say it must have a badge to distinguish but from other schools hijab, that's also cool. This is a middle course

2 I understand from my research that the school in question is not a private school per se. Yes , it was founded by Christian missionaries but it has been taken over by government prior to this regime. The teachers are being paid by government. The founders still foot some expenses, as support but technically those are supports. If the missionaries want to take the school back( both Muslims and Christians now), that can be achieved via a law that would pass through the state assembly. It happened in Lagos, and the schools were returned!

There are new private schools in kwara owned and completely funded by Muslims and Christians entrepreneurs. The Muslims would not send their children to such Christian schools unless they must abide by such school's principles( including no use of ijab), and vice versa too . The government cannot interfere with what happens there, they can only regulate to achieve some minimum standards..

You guys have a way suiting your narrative and violently having your way no matter how unreasonable the issues were.

First, Christians bought land (the CofOs of the land still carry the name of the church, as a matter of fact most missions schools are situated beside their founding churches), built schools and only handed over the administration of schools to the government so as to make it accessible to all irrespective of social, Economic, Ethnic or religious leaning since the cost reflective running of the schools will make it inaccessible to the poorest of the poor which is the aim of the christian missionaries. So, Government doesn't own any mission school in it real sense, that you pay teachers salary doesn't make you the owner of the schools.

Secondly, what has Muslims mode of dressing got to do in a secular (Christian mission) school?
He last time I checked, Nigeria is still a secular state, if you want to be wearing your Hijab and Teblick trousers why not enroll in an Islamic school?
Should Osun, Obatala worshipers, and other religious sect choose to be violent and unreasonable like you guys by enforcing their own mode of dressing?
Most conservative Christian ladies don't put on trousers but Christians doing service (NYSC) and in military and paramilitary don't force their sentimental believes and biases on others, why always Muslims?

You guys are used to Islam being a state religion where everyone must bow and kowtow to your madness.

Religion is a scam, but Islam is a plague to the world.
Some of us aren't religious because I can't fathom serving the same violent "God" with you guys.

1. This was just a speach by the military governor, not the law enacted to change the status of the schools.

2. The speech was delivered in 1972 not 74. I assume ( Not sure) the last time schools status were changed was 1974.

3. If these conditions were still relevant and backed by the law, where did the high court and appeal court get the legal backing to rule in favor of hijab?

4. Why are Christians afraid of hijab in a predominantly Yoruba state like Kwara?

There's no basis for any Christian to condemn hijab in Kwara state due to the following reasons:

a. Kwara and all Yoruba States has no record of hijab wearing suicide bomber.

b. Hijab is not new to Christianity. Catholic sisters wear something very similar.

c. Hijab depicts morality, is Christianity no longer a moral religion?

d. Hijab is optional even to the Muslims, no one is forcing the Christians to wear it.

I AM DONE TALKING

You're just being mischievous and trying to be intelligent by half.

If every religion and sect should go about enforcing their religious biases in every secular institution won't there be confusion and anarchy?
There is a school uniform and mode of dressing for every school and institutions for uniformity. If traditional worshipers start clamouring to wear charms and bracelets, if White garment people wear their robe, if masquerade worshipers decide to put on their garb, if ayilala people decide to wear their white robes to school etc won't their be issue.

You guys are simply troublesome and violent by nature.
Christians contributed money, bought land, built schools and decide to hand the administration of the school over to the government (base on agreements) so that it can be accessible to irrespective of social, ethnic, economy or religious leaning all and what they get in return is this? Aba!!!

Please be reasonable.

The question should be what have you benefited from your state since 1999, at least Lagos is and has been the safety net for Nigerians.
Those of us that knows what Oshodi, Iyana Ipaja, Ikorodu even Lekki, Victoria Island looks like prior to 1999 will testify to the massive development that has happened in Lagos. I've spent over 30years in Lagos, so I know where we were coming from and where we are. Same can't be said of other states, they remain the same for over 30years. I've traveled far and wide and I can tell you no state government is intentional about development like Lagos State an the facts are there.

Check Lagos revenue prior to 1999 and compare with 2002, you can only get revenue where there is both human and capital development, the monies didn't come from heaven.
In the 80's people from the West rate Ibadan above Lagos, check demographic statistics Lagos has not always been what it is now.

And just to inform you Lagos as a capital is different from Lagos State.
Lagos is made up of 5 Divisions, Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island, Epe (IBILE). Only a part of old Lagos Island was the Capital.

So bury that age long federal capital narrative.
Abuja has been capital for over 30years but still can't rival Lagos.

Homelessness is synonymous to highbrow areas, most Nigerians in US are homeless. You can't expect the government to provide free housing for 25million people that keeps leaving their villages for Lagos.

Lagos is run by the most cerebral Civil service and government you can get in Nigeria....Fact
Bring the credentials of those that have ruled Lagos since 1999 (Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode, Sanwo) side by side with that of other states and let's see who is ruled by Touts.

Fantastic response. I have no doubt the poster you responded to is Igbo. They would rather say the most stupid and illogical things than gave the leaders of Lagos any credit.

Fact is that Lagos is run very well for anyone who is exposed and knows the immense challenge facing the State.

For example, Accra the capital of Ghana has 2.5 million people. It can be said to be easy to run because of resources to population ratio.

Not so Lagos that is the smallest State in Nigeria yet home to at least 21 million people and growing daily. Lagos, by far, is the most challenging State in Nigeria to run.

It is thanks to her consistently Stellah administrative leaders and teams since 1999 that Lagos continues to thrive, diversify and lead despite immense challenges.

Those of use who knew Lagos before 1999, not the JJC who came in the last decade or so, are aware of what Tinubu and his successors, especially Fashola, have achieved.
You don't need a seer to know where he's from...they are found of playing down others achievements/personalities but always quick to hype their mediocre performance and personalities.

Lagos state is the easiest state to Govern in Nigeria, because their main problem is Transportation and environmental..Even as Lagos area is made up of 60% of water, no household depend on govt water..Road, clean environment, Bridges, Transport vehicles, are their major problems

And that is why you see their governors at times doing what is not germane, like this . What is this to the over 25million Lagos residents.

People don't even care on good governance because they are all in lagos to make money from private businesses, and that's why less than 10% of his population vote during elections. And touts and illiterate determine who wins. I hope this narrative change one day...Eko oni baje Mon oo
Lagos State with a very high population density is the easiest state to govern but Bayelsa with just 8LGA with population not up Alimosho earning massive allocation and 13% derivative with NDDC and other agencies support is not easy to govern right? Same with Rivers, Delta, Akwaibom, Kaduna, Kano, Ogun, Oyo and other supposedly bigger states.
I guess 90% of the populations of other states votes during election and University dons are the ones who determines the winners.
It cost you nothing to appreciate the good development (which to you is not germane lol) rather than wail as usual.

If other states are as good at governance like Lagos you won't have over 12% of Nigeria's population choking themselves in less than 0.5% of Nigeria's (lagos') landmass.

Sanwolu will become your hero the moment he starts having issues with Tinubu. It all boils down to hatred for a man who doesn't care about your existence.

Nah we only take advantage of your laziness and ignorance to make money off u ...

The only mistake we did was investing our profits back into your land to create jobs for u ungrateful lots

Right now we still make the profits but we send it back home

Every wondered why ibeju lekki and eko atlantic is not selling again?

LMAO come to east and see estates your ignorance and laziness are building

Calculate how u spend your monthly income ... calculate how many goes to the igbo man
This is the 21st century, I no longer patronise your 2*2 kiosk and bend down select wears that's making you puffed up like a rickety motorcycle. Developers of the world but your region is the poverty capital of the south.
We are lazy and ignorant but the same lazy and ignorant people are so economically bouyant to patronise your 2*2 kiosks to make profit. I'm sure you're typing from somewhere in the SW, since your region is not only landlocked but padlocked, Abandoned and desolate, with her people scattered about like sheep without shepherds in search of greener pastures.

Nobody is begging you to buy Ibeju Lekki or Eko Atlantic, but we know you can't help it, since south west is your heaven and having (max 99 years tenure) a plot of land here gives you a bragging right in your village meeting during Christmas.

If a Yoruba man invest 10% of what Igbos have invested in Lagos we would vote him governor
We don't need your investment...developers of the world that can't develop their tiny 5 villages but go about shouting how they developed Jupiter, Mars, US etc, Na who send you?
And what would make a sane SWesterner leave a land your people see as heaven and move to a place where the dream of every youth there is to leave?
