mbanu! Cappo That is not a private hospital they're not business minded at All imagine customers :Dthat they will miss cos of that delay. For all my pregnancies I used both govt and private for ANC but had my deliveries in the private and their services were top-notch . They had this extra/personal touch that I liked. And I prefer using gynaecologists( personal choice) they take the delivery, which I know I can't get in govt hospitals. Don't get me wrong the nurses and medical officers are great but it's just a personal choice.

Its well jawe, but d attitude of d private hospital DAT day really pissed me off, maybe its 'cos na Catholic hospital sha o and most of their doc works @ govt hospital so dey re available only wen off duty I guess, in all may God grant us safe delivery.

At times at the private you could spend such amount of time, too. It all depends on the system the institution is using.

That's so 2ru sis, I remember one of my Antenatal visit to d private hospital I used I got there ard 8am and till like 1:30pm we no see doctor, matron or sister to come attend to us, I ate breakfast,slept woke took second round of food den sleep again before dey called d matron who was off duty to come attend to us.....I was just imaging wot if there's an emergency case.

When you calculate the time wasted in those public hospital and you convert it into money....you fit even spend reash 400k

Truthfully govt hospitals waste time, but for dis missionary journey have tried both govt private,and seriously am giving it all to govt hospital I so much love d lectures compare to private that teach Biology 101 instead of proper lectures, infact I don make up my mind to kuku ma born for there and I no d Lord will take control of d delivery day and take charge of all d personnel DAT will be on ground,he will put my love in their heart...And for badagry general hospital here registration, antenatal and normal delivery is 25k while CS is 45k and if u re using NHIS na 7k for both.

For me I usually count from my LMP. Regardless of what scan says, I don't follow it's date because I noticed it reads 2 weeks ahead like u said in fact there was a time scan read 4 weeks ahead for me I just ignored the result and confronted the sonographer, he then checked again said it's because my baby is very tall. Can u imagine.


So if scan says u are 37weeks it means u are actually 35weeks jare, i hope I was able to answer ur question

As i see dis i just laugh in my dialect. My husband that didn't allow pre wedding pix although i had to use the inborn stubborness in me before we did it. I can't even mention maternity shot. I no even consider the idea at all make i no dey disappointed.

Ask for your doctor to provide a letter to sign you off work that you are ill and Let them write that you are on admission at the hospital for observation for 1 or 2 weeks.

Call them to tell them at work and ask hubby to go drop off the letter for you.

Nice advice, I remembered my 1st trimester wen weakness and vomiting won finish me plus I come look like skeleton join, I was forced to send my boss SMS DAT my enemy dey on admission for hospital and I use DAT 1week to regain more strength infact till school vacated my on and off no get rival...And presently am still doubting of resuming back with dem cos na my life and DAT of my baby dey important.

if you see how I'm eyeing you ehn.... ordinary 75kg. I don't bother to climb scale anymore I'm already 119kg even with all my watching what I eat. I've been taking Lipton since 20 weeks, eat lots of cucumber, veggies, I've reduced carbs greatly, for milk I its either dano slim, or 3 crowns very tasteless something. NO SUGAR, ICE CREAM, SHARWAMA but still I've added 20kg @ 29 weeks. I'm being seriously monitored fasting blood sugar, 2 hours post pandrial, blood pressure etc.In all I ThanK God Almighty that I'm free of all that. No High blood pressure, no diabetes. So far baby's weight isn't so bad but my doc insists that I should be extra careful cos now is the time for baby to gain weight. I believe God that it will end in praise. So my dear I don't think you're doing badly at All. I envy you sef. Just eat moderately.

I had the most beautiful girl on planet earth yesterday sometime before 5pm, I don't know her weight yet but she is here in the ward with me where I can see the nurses feed and bath her....

She very healthy and bigger than some babies that reach to term..
