Why didn't a bigger catastrophe for instance the one that occured in the Meccan construction mishap for example that claim the lives of hundreds of muslim praying to their God not also avoided? when a construction crane hit by thunder storm fell down on worshipers praying in the name of allah, that did not prevent man made accident from happening and claiming innocent lives. Meanwhile, like that was not enough it was followed by thousands killed as aresult of being stampede upon by fellow worshipers which includes our fellow muslim country men and women who lost their lives that year.

So now are you saying these ones killed in this version were killed in the name of Islam or because their prayers that day were not enough? I believe such man made catastrophes would have being worst of if not for the intervention of God almighty the casualty figure would have being up the roof.

So learn to have empathy for fellow human life regardless of faith or religious belief and stop this useless blame game that won't benefit any one dead or alive..

I recall sometime ago, during one of our Weekly Sales Conference Meetings, I caught my boss going through my phone. I had left it on the table. I was really paying any attention to it.

I looked up, and saw him holding my phone. I asked him to give it to me, and he started struggling to quickly close what he was doing. I snatched the phone from his fingers, to find out he was reading my WhatsApp conversations.

I was livid with rage! I told them to suspend the meeting. Then, I told him off, in the presence of junior staffs. At that point, I didn't care if he was WAY older than me, and he was my superior in the office. I threw all that out the window!

I've noticed some things with most elderly people. They feel, because they are older, they get a free b*tch pass. They feel, because they have grey hair, they should be respected automatically.

It doesn't happen that way. Respect is reciprocal. Till I left the company, he didn't have the balls to look at me directly. My HR said I may have overreacted.

Seriously, the rate at which buildings collapse all over the country is so alarming. It indicates that there is a problem in place and little or nothing at all is done to checkmate it in the bud. If not then more are coming and no one know which building is giving way, we do not experience Natural phenomenon such as Earthquakes but we already have man made quakes, is the substandard building materials flooding the market to be blame? Or the human factors on the part of Engineers tying to cut corners to swingle cash into their pockets?

lol.. It has since before now sef. A country where you see National flags flying have completly turn into flying rags in ministries and privately own establishments and no body is mindful of saying a word about it or its implications to Nationhood tells alot about us as a people..

Similar incident with the Green boys occured in my street last year's December eve, when a lady invited her Military boy friend to the community over an alleged stolen phone also.

That some area boys snatch her phone, the military guy invited being an officer, in turn came down with his goons of military privates in two military coloured vans, and they began to terrorise people, beating, and dragging any one in sight into their vans.

And when some youths in the area gang up to opposed the illegal arrest going on that night by the military boy, they open fire sporadically scaring the crowd and causing serious chaos and zoomed off in the confusion, it was later confirmed that a stray bullet penetrates the soft brick walls of a building hitting an innocent young lady in the arm, who was busy preparing Christmas meals in the kitchen.

I wonder if the bullets wasted that day was ever giving account of, as in this country the same tax payers money that were use to buy such weapons for the arm-forces are the same weapons use by some disgruntled elements in their mids who have completlew tarnish their image in the eyes of public.
