With present wars as was centuries ago, there was a growing population of widows among women as men were prevailed to take them as wives. Less was expected of women than bear his name and bear him a child. Although, education has enabled her share a sense of belonging with him quite much.

Higher population of women still hasn't explained the fact that the more the number that are married off to men yearly, the more the number of unmarried ladies increases.
