The biggest problem with Nigeria is that it's a prison of tribes that don't belong together. I say dissolve Nigeria now,and let Yorubaland be free, with Lagos as our capital. Yoruba first! Yorubaland is my only nation. |

Biralee: If you ever look at the map of Nigeria, you'll see that the western section of the coast caves in significantly compare to the Niger Delta and to its east. This means that Lagos is much closer to the interior (Abuja, Kano) than PH or Calabar. As a developing country, we should focus on developing ONE port, ONE industrial concentration, ONE logistic hub, ONE financial centre. That would obviously be Lagos, the beating heart of Nigeria, the capital of Yorubaland. Look at China, even with its size, Shanghai is designated as the port of export and industry. Look at the West Coast of the US, the only major port is Los Angeles not San Francisco or Seattle. Also, putting a major national hub in Biaphra is unwise, because we never know when a certain group of people would want to abandon the rest of Nigeria again. Not being tribalistic, but just keeping it real. |

Izontubo: we will leave lagos with all the oil companies while we jettison your likes from the niger deltan...mumu.. I hold no malice towards Deltans. Oil has been only a curse to Nigeria. I wish only the best for the indigenes of the Niger Delta when we go our separate ways. Tribal homogeneity leads to civic virtue, which prevents thieves and thugs from gaining power. |

Nigeria doesn't have a collective soul. We are hundreds of tribes, and we're not united now, we've never been, nor will we ever be. Yorubaland must be free from outside interference! One Nigeria is not working. If we Yorubas are in charge of our own affairs in our own land as an independent state, we'd no longer worry about stone-age abokis or the criminals in the Delta. We will no longer tolerate the massive unloading of millions of undesirables into our capital, Lagos, from all corners of West Africa. All these foreigners (non-Yorubas) have destroyed our great city into a megaslum. We could be a society with strong civic values because we are one tribe that trust one another within it. We'd no longer suffer from thieving politicians from other tribes. Despite all his fanatic un-Christian paganism, pagan9ja is right that each tribe should keep to itself. Yorubas should realise that we can trust no one but ourselves. We can leave other tribes alone, but in reciprocity we demand that non-Yorubas leave us alone and leave Yorubaland (including our capital Lagos) for good. 6 Likes |

Uyi Iredia: They might've found false, superficial, and temporary peace, but they have long found out that they were wrong after their deaths. I'm sure I'm right because I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in a daily basis, unlike other religions where ceremonies and rituals dominate the supposedly experience with the divine. My relationship with Jesus has only strengthened each day in the trials and triumphs, in sorrow and joy of my life. |

GeneralShepherd: Since I officially dumped the idea of a god, I haven't seen my parents. I went home this christmas,it was a wonderful holiday for me,little did I know my mum was hurting deep down inside! You seriously need Jesus. You think your flawed human reasoning is all there is in life, well let me bring you to reality, it isn't. Jesus is the alpha and the omega of existence. The sooner you realise this the sooner you will find peace and meaning in life. |

lynpetra: It's really pathetic to listen to the tales of homeless people in Abuja. Some complain bitterly of how scarce it is to get affordable homes here in the heart of the North.Such Irony! As my aunt drove me around this evening,I can't help to notice so many empty duplexes, bungalows, self contains,Block of flats around."Auntie all this houses na who them dey build am for?"I asked.Beautiful empty houses, several still under construction.Greed na bastard! An employed average Nigerian can never afford the price of only a Dog post in these houses!!Infact, who are those building this houses? Why build a house to leave it empty for years because no customer can pay the prize?Isn't it selfish, foolish and inhumanly wicked? Why not make it affordable as it is available? The only reason business isn't booming in Abuja is partly because plenty houses are empty,as a lot of youths live in places like Iyanya,Maraba,Kubwa, and the outskirts of Abuja. I know where you're coming from, but you should've really tried harder at school or not drop out so soon. It's all supply and demand. Happens all the time around the world. |

anonimi: No, London is for English people (not French, Russian, Polish oyinbo). Why shouldn't people have their own cities to call their own? You're the one who's missing parts of your brain. Do you want Chinkos, Lebanese, Indians to flood into your village and your towns? Stop forcing others to accept what you could not even tolerate. |

Igboland (including Onitsha, Enugu) for Igbos. Hausaland (including Kano) for Hausas. Bornu State for Kanuris. Edo State for Binis. Bayelsa (and its oil) for Ijaws. BUT WHY IS YORUBALAND (INCLUDING LAGOS, THE CAPITAL CITY OF YORUBALAND) FOR EVERYBODY? If Lagos only needed to take care of its Yoruba indigenes, it would be able to become a world-class city within one term of governorship. When all the people from Nigeria and even foreigners like Chadians and Nigeriens flood into our once beautiful city without any regard for its laws or order or sanitation, there's nothing a government of human beings could do to make the place liveable. I'm not trying to hate, but simply telling it like it is. Develop your own cities. I couldn't be happier if the South East could boast a city that rivals Lagos in economic prowess. 2 Likes |

Read your Bibles. Alcohol is not against the Christian religion. Jesus turned water into wine and served it to the masses. Wine was described countless times in both the Old and New Testaments as the beverage of choice in celebrations. Those who are banning alchohol are diverging from the word of God. 1 Like |

♥Dεs•Chγκσ♥: 1. Yes. If you help others as if God wouldn't help them, aren't you denying God's existence and power? 2. As the anointed of God, we have every right to enjoy our portion. If God intended to bless others, he would've already done so. My portion has a purpose from above. 3. God is not a god of lack, but a god of abundance. There is nothing wrong with extravagance from His blessings. It only glorifies His name. |
Religion / Re: Pope Francis Puts On Costume To Sneak Out Of Vatican To Help The Homeless by qhiwegh(m): 3:09am On Dec 05, 2013 |
Why doesn't real men of God go out of their way to help the poor? They KNOW with their faith that Almighty God Himselfwill take care of those that believes in Him. Those who God chooses to help, no circumstance will prevent them from reaching success. Unlike real men of God like we have here in Nigeria, for example Prophet TB Joshua, the antichrist Pope doesn't have faith that God has the power or the intention to bless the needy, and so the Pope must go out of his way to do help the homeless. This antichrist Pope always calls for a simple life and frugality, ignoring that such pettiness is very unbiblical. The Bible tells us the riches of the children of God, of the faithful like the immense wealth of King Solomon. The Bible promises us that God will provide for all of us who believe in Him, and that poverty will not be our portion. Instead of reminding us this, the antichrist Pope tells people to (God forbid) accept and embrace poverty, which is a sign of lack of faith and not a sign of Godliness. |

Am wondering if dis should be allowed in the constitution I wonder what you'd think when one day you'll be falsely accused of being a terrorist (for being at the wrong place at the wrong time) and be brought to court.
