I have been away from nairaland fir years. If only I have checked, my sister, brother, two friends and myself won’t be the latest victims of @jethro2 scam. From 2018 till 2020, N2M gone!!! Sadly, some folks are here defending this fraudster. From the cheap labour disguised as training to the purported huge loses at the end of harvest, Yinka has perfected this scam. I am not proud that I fell fir this scan, but I just had to face the shame and post this to prevent folks like us from getting duped. |
How is the LAWMA waste collector for your area doing? Please post the company's name and comment about their performance. Are they coming regualarly? How good is their service(s)?How do you think they can improve their services? How much is their service bill? |
N3m can only buy a truck. Thing of insurance, diesel and mtcce. I have been in it and can tell you that the keyword is "trust but verify". Best of luck. |
Depending on the capacity of the trucks, I will suggest you contact the breweries/beverage coys, cement and flour coys. From experience, you need to have a VALID/SOLID insurance. It's a lucrative but very risky biz. Managers, drivers, motor boys and police can give you high BP, but endurance is the key. |
I beg make una patronize this lawyer. I have gone through the hustle of coy regn and I know wht it takes. The best gift we can give back to guys like this is to help them propser, who knows he might be Gani in the making. |

Is this true or na April fool? I beg to all of you trying to bombard the I-town, make u stay for where u dey o.We don't have enough police to control wahala for Kwara. On a serious note, thanks a lot for posting this information. From experience in a working system, I'm totally in support of deregulation of utilities, and de-centralization of the Police. Anyway we go confirm soon. |
Before I left Lagos on Dec 2nd, I ran to the Zenith Bank at the airport to exchange naira to dollar. This is usually my choice of exchanging money, since I have a Zenith account, I don't need to physically withdraw naira from my account.Unfortunately, I was told that I have to wait till 10 am before they can get the rate for the day, from their H/office. Since I had a Delta flight to catch at 9:00 am, I rushed to one of the malams next door, who was willing to change it for N122.I was skeptical, so I ignored them and ran to the Travellex counter. I was only able to change the max allowed by Travellex @N120. I left the remaining amount for my rep to exchange later in the day and wire same through the bank. However, by the time I arrived ATL, my rep called me that the new rate is N140.I was shocked and decided to wait till Xmas time, trusting in the power of supply and demand in a true economy. Well the rest is history, All the cars that I and a couple of my friends have sold between then and now, are total lost. The proceeds from the sale, less other expenses, and crazy commissions for middlemen is not up to the cost price.anyway, the moral of the story is that in about 2-3 months the prices of vehicles in Nigeria will skyrocket, since the US credit crunch has drastically reduced the export rates of cars from the US. In fact, most orders from Nigeria have not been met since they requestors can't exchange and transfer dollar at the current rate. The truth of the matter is that, it is a buyers' market now, till Q2 2009 when the real effect will be effect on car prices, spare parts etc |

Nice ride, but it needs TLC. All the internal parts are made by Toyota. A lexus, is simply a Toyota will FULL OPTION. IT will go the extra mile, if well maintained. |
What year is the car? |
The keyword is RISK |
As explained by Midas02, the V6 offers better performance than 4 cylinders. This is why most luxurious lines Lexus, Infiniti and Acura are V6. The gas consumption is higher too. |
EI:The mileage is ideal. Technically a 2005 SUV was made in 2004. So if you consider and average of 10,000 miles a year. It's a good deal. Best of luck to the buyer |
Most cars produced after 1999 needs to be programed by the dealer because of the chip present in them. For prior year cars, you can cut it from any local store e.g. Home Depot, ACE or Walmart. You will need the original keys or VIN.As for late models, your best best is to see your dealer. |
This is the greatest jok of the year, LOL! |
I beg I just got burnt by UBA (Big Time). I need to open a new Dorm Acct. NLanders, which bank get the best dorm account services? |
Please try other banks but not UBA. |
Finally, I got a taste of Bad Customer service from UBA. I used to be a crusader for UBA, but I now agree with most nlanders that the bank doesn't no what CS is all about. The NRN aka NRA dorm account banking is so ridiculous that they failed to transfer money on time. I contacted them after a week of waiting endlessly for my money. I was not only on the phone for them for more than an hour, they came up with ridiculous excuses like, Form M, Form A, Proof of insurance (for what), invoice of good sold. I now understand why small biz can't survive in Naija. UBA cost my biz $25/day late fee. Thanks United Bank for Africa (indeed) |
