I have this project I am working on where posts can be locked until a certain time.

I also have a scheduler running every minute to check the locked_until, a db column that stores the time the post will be unlocked.

So when the time elapses, the post will be auto unlocked.

Now the issue is, I don't want the scheduler running every minute. Is it possible to optimize this and how?

run a cron job the OS handles it very well and doesn't need to be part of your application. But every minute is too much though, why do you need to check that often ?

He asked how much and I said 5M naira would be enough, he cut the phone, called him back and send him msg on WhatsApp which he read and didn’t reply. I called my sister and told her what her husband did and she said she will talk to him.

You have been in Canada for a while and little things to give back to the family is difficult for you? Not his fault

Everytime I come to this thread I think about how dedicated one can be, I met maclink here and he's done alot of projects for me indirectly and taken to Upwork, just saw this thread and thought to comment on it, regards

I would have preferred foreign account in my name.
In as much as would have love the idea of having an account with someone details, my gig mostly involves doing zoom calls and you know that the pic will not match

Foreign account doesn't help much, Mine says Canada and it's hard, generally the freelance market has reduced to a degree
