i chose not to comment when some people started insulting and insinuating things. some went as far as cursing and swearing, for some1 they dont even know.
i'm not desperate, just want to get opinions, hoping it ll help me to forge ahead. i got them plenty, thanks all

@cuddlemii n co., if i reply to every poster on this thread, desperation n frustration ll definitely set in. besides i work and also in school (postgraduate), so wont have time to reply to all.

look at some responses, u ll know d person only read the caption, and went ahead to say rubbish or curse.

Something happened recently that got me thinking. The attitude of most civil servants to work is sooooo disgusting. I sent a friend to an area council in Abuja (LGA in other states) to help me just pay and get a receipt for a form, he was there by 9am, and till 2pm, no one has come to open that particular office. later, one of them came, stayed for a few minutes and left.

sadly, the form could not be processed cos he didn't stay enough for him to finish filling  the form, and that was the third time he was there without achieving anything.

this and many more makes me think; most civil servants don't deserve pay.
this is just one scenario, all the ills and idleness that go on in govt. offices make me wonder

Out of the 35% of the positions GEJ promised women during the elections, among the 1st to have a share, is a Northern woman:Zainab Maina, who was screened and made a minister of the FRN last week.

I support GEJ all the way, but i dont understand why such a woman who cannot even make correct sentences in English will be able to carry a whole MINISTRY along. Yes, English is not our 'mother-tongue', but it is only language she will need to communicate to her Commissioners in the state. Just wondering how she will perform, if she cant even communicate well?

DONt talk about Patience, cos she is not even "constitutionally recognized".
