A 30-year-old Lagos driver, Samuel Adamo, Adamo, who was married with three wives and five children, was stabbed to death in Oshodi, Lagos State. He was said to have been attacked in one of the motor parks in the Oshodi-under-bridge area, while calling passengers into his bus.
It was learnt that some motor park thugs aka agbero, had approached him for a ‘loading fee’, but the deceased allegedly declined payment, saying there was no passenger in his bus yet.
This supposedly caused an argument, which led to a fight between the victim and thethugs. Three of the area boys allegedly stabbed Adamo in the neck, chest and stomach and he
reportedly bled to death. It was gathered that the police arrested one of the suspects, 21 year old Teslim Tajudeen.
Tajudeen however, claimed not to be responsible for the death, adding that he only stabbed Adamo in the chest.
He said in Yoruba:
“I work as a conductor, although I do not have a permanent bus I work with. Whenever I don’t work as a conductor, I help touts to collect money from drivers in Oshodi. “I was actually walking down to the spot where I usually stay to collect loading fee when I saw a driver arguing with some of our boys – Lateef, aka Eba, and and Baba Oba .
“When I got there, I was told that they asked Adamo to pay for loading before taking passengers.
“The driver refused, claiming he had yet to load his bus. The argument led to a fight. The driver threatened to stab Eba and Baba Oba .
“I tried to separate them, but the driver also threatened to stab me. Eba subsequently picked a bottle and smashed it on the ground. He stabbed the driver in the stomach; I also picked the broken bottle and stabbed him in the chest, while Baba Oba stabbed him in the neck.”
The father of the deceased, Taoheed, said even though his son had been buried, he still wanted justice for him.
He said:
“They killed him for nothing. The law must take its course. That is the only thing that can assuage our pain as a family.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, confirmed the incident. He added that investigation was ongoing at the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba.

The Lagos State police command arrested eight men over the weekend for allegedly murdering one Akeem Ajanaku who was attacked at Enu-Owa/Ido Olowu area of Lagos Island.
The suspects, Animashaun Akeem, Qudus Atakoro, Abduramon Onisemo, Muritala Oyejobi, Tabiu Mujib, Iyaniwura Idris, Tayo Oladimeji, and Segun Adeyemi, were arrested by the police at the scene of the murder, unfortunately, others escaped.
It was gathered that on November, 15, 2015, at about 1pm, thugs armed with cutlasses, axes, guns and other dangerous weapons attacked Akeem Ajanaku at Ido-Olowa/Enu-owa
According to Supol Segun Adebayo, who reported the case at the Adeniji-Adele Central Police Station, Akeem Ajanaku, was rushed to the Lagos Island General Hospital by the police and other sympathizers; where he died.
Tayo Oladimeji, who was supposedly one of the suspects denied being involved. He said:
“I was at home sleeping on a Saturday morning when I heard my mum’s voice asking if I wont go to work. Reluctantly, I got up from my bed and headed towards the bathroom to take my bath when I was arrested.’’
“I don’t know anything. I was in my shop that Monday when policemen came to arrest me, saying I was involved in last Sunday’s fracas on Lagos Island. The only encounter that I had was when some unknown guys came to me at Oduduwa bus stop and collected my wristwatch.
‘’Immediately I was arrested, I called my parents but I couldn’t reach them and then police also seized my phone and brought me here (Lagos command)this morning. While I was in the police custody, I was told that Major and Paulo called my mobile phone. I don’t know the reason they were calling me.”
The case has since been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos State Police Command, for further investigation.

Here, we write about a case where a ten year old child, Johnny, had foam on his mouth and had difficulties breathing. After taking him to the ER immediately, the mother was told that what happened was ”Secondary Drowning“ . Though rare, secondary drowning can be fatal if warning symptoms are ignored. Anytime someone (children and adults alike) inhales even a small gush of water (pool, lake or ocean) it can irritate the lungs and cause swelling. Usually very little water is present in the lungs when secondary drowning occurs, but the small amount of liquid is enough to hinder the lungs ability to provide oxygen to the bloodstream.
If your child has had a near drowning, or perhaps swallowed too much water, keep a close eye out for the symptoms of secondary drowning and take them to the hospital immediately. Symptoms can even take between one and 72 hours to appear.
The symptoms are following:
Excess fatigue after bathing;
Shortness of breath after bathing;
Irritability or mood swings, for no apparent reason.

Police men in Asaba, Delta State, have arrested 21 students who are allegedly homosexuals.
According to Punch, a reliable source said that two state-owned polytechnics (names withheld) where the suspects were arrested, were popular with homosexual activities for financial gains.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Celestina Kalu, confirmed the arrest of the suspects.
She said:
“We had it on good authority that the male students allegedly engaged in anal sex. The suspects, upon interrogation, made useful statements to the police while investigations are ongoing.”

Examhall:- A customary court in Delta state over the weekend heard the case of a 45-year-old woman who reportedly had s*x with her son at a hotel in Abagana, Anambra state.
The woman, Mrs Nkulumenna Owefa, confessed that she seduced her son in a hotel in Abagana by offering him the sum of N50, 000.
Nkulumenna who trades at the popular Ogbeonogonogo market in Asaba, said she deceptively asked her son to accompany her to Abagana near Onitsha.
She reportedly checked into a hotel against her initial plan of meeting with one of her business partners at her residence in Asaba.
The unnamed son affirmed in his testimony that his mom had asked him to accompany her somewhere to purchase stocks for her store.
He testified before senior magistrate, Sylvester Oboh, saying : “On our way to Abagana, somewhere around Toll Gate in Asaba, my mum told me that she was going to take over me as my father had taken over my sister and I thanked her, not knowing what she was up to.

“In Abagana, after a lengthy discussion with her friend, we retired into the hotel room, where my mum gave me a bottle of coke already opened and I felt weak then she undressed me and had her way with me.”
Mr Owefa, prayed the court to grant dissolution of their 18-year-old marriage over an alleged s*xual intercourse between his wife and their son.
Daily Post reports that the aggrieved husband who was in court with their daughter, Adlyn, said: “My wife has committed the worst abomination and the only forgiveness I have for her is the dissolution of the marriage.”
He added: “My son remains my son because I know he was not seduced with ordinary hand. ”
Having listened to both parties, the Judge granted the dissolution of the marriage.
In his ruling, justice Sylvester Oboh said the man would take custody of the two children.
Meanwhile, a 68-year-old man from Akwa Ibom state, has reportedly met his death few weeks after defiling his sister’s daughter

Aliko Dangote and three other directors have resigned from the board of Dangote Flour Mills after majority shareholder of Flour Mill, Tiger Brands, cut funding support to its struggling Nigerian division today November 16th.
According to Reuters, South Africa’s Tiger Brands said it was ‘currently exploring various alternatives with regard to its investment in Dangote Flour Mills”. Aliko Dangote holds 10 percent of the company’s equity through Dangote Industries. The other directors who resigned along with Dangote are Olakunle Alake, Asue Ighodalo and Arnold Ekpe.
