I am engaged to a beautiful and wonderful Nigerian man.  I was automatically inducted into his family.  My fiance mother and father died years ago so his eldest sister and brother took the role as the matriach and patriach of the family.  He has a huge family and his family can't wait for us to get married.  I have learned that Nigerian men must have a submissive woman, a woman that can cook, bear children, and be the partner side by side with them.  I even asked my fiance what if I wanted to go to hollywood and become a star, he simply stated no he want me to be an actress at home to him only.
