IF the girl comes to clean your house regularly on every Saturday, it is normal that she expects that you formalise the arrangement and agree a fee for the expectation of her coming to clean your house. What she did is what is NORMAL.

What would you have done if she did not show up on a particular Saturday, would you be angry with her? Has the need to come every Saturday to clean your house become a consideration for all her plans on Saturdays? Does the mum have to arrange her chores / duties around her coming to clean your house every Saturday?

By thinking critically about the above situations, you would realise the mum was right to ask that the cleaning obligations be formalised. And if this formal arrangement was going to get the work done and reduce the money you spent on her, you should have taking the formalised option. Just my thoughts.

lol.. I get you sha, but it wasn't a formal arrangement. The person that even got her for me was saying i am paying her too much. I live in ibadan.. Inside Ui, cleaners there that are popularly called "any work" can wash a a mountain of clothes and clean your house for 2000 naira. They just got greedy else if they wanted a formal arrangement, they would have said so from the get go.

I agree with you. I got a girl in ss2 that lives around my neighborhood to be helping me clean my apartment and wash clothes only on Saturdays. She lost her phone at a point, I got her a brand new phone of about N13, 000.I give her clothes, foodstuffs and buy her toiletries when i go to the mall.All this while i didn't place her on monthly salary.. I give her at least N1500 naira or more every Saturday.She came one day and said her mother said if i can't pay her N10000 naira monthly she should stop coming.I was shocked because this is someone i took care of like a kid sister. Funny enough she gets more than that from me if summed up. I was so pissed and told her to stop coming because it's not like she does a fantastic job that I would miss out on.On a lot of occasions she would mop my floors without sweeping it first and many other rubbish acts of laziness. Still, i was good to her and her family. Most of these helps are plain ungrateful. I watched the video and i could feel Tonto's pain because of my experience. If she shout i no blame her at all.If the nanny was innocent she would have responded to Tonto's questions. She couldn't even meet Tonto's eyes due to her guilt.

I and my family had our visa interview on friday and I just had to share our transcript. I learnt a lot from this forum.. I read from page 1 to the last page, it took me weeks mehn.

The interview was less than a minute and I know its just God's grace. We filled the forms ourselves, all correct information, no lies. We will be spending 10days.
Hubby is super excited, he has aways said the first visa he will get will be the US visa lol. Its just my daughter and I that have travelled out of the country to dubai
No documents was checked, even thoughi have read here severelly that no documents will be asked. We took all our land and property documents lmao, bank statements and other irrelevant things.
we also didnt listen to the touts outside the embassy. It would have been a waste of time. We are super happy and please forgive my typos, feeling sleepy.
