Things we do in pregnancy
As for the cold water, I drank o, even when they all said I shouldn't. This my pregnancy came with internal heat so I had no option than to drink it. I only stopped this week because am almost due and mumcy them is claiming baby wont come if I continue.

lol @internal heat. What won't someone see in pregnancy?

Since the beginning of my pregnancy till date, the only water I can take is cold water very chilled I can't take any other water even when the weather is very cold. I don't think there is any side effect cos my baby is so hyper active and always kicking.

Hahahahaha.. No make me choke on my food biko. Mine is a place where they sell roasted plantain, soft beans and grilled fish. Even if am not going to stay at the shop for long,i am always armed with food flask to buy and take home . It's so filling.. I don't eat so much during d day after eating that. Abeg, can i drink cold water? My grandmother said I should stop taking cold water.. Pls does it have any harmful effect in pregnancy?

i am heartbroken. i gave birth to a baby boy thursday lastweek and lost him on saturday morning. i had prolonged labour. i was in labour for close to 48hours. for the first 24hrs, i was dieing in pain, yet nurses will check me and say am just 2cm dilated. It was when they decided to section me that i finally gave birth, inside theatre room. my baby came out and did not cry, was very weak. they supported him with oxygen only for him to die after 2days. since then hv been in pain. pain that i lost my child, and vagina tear they gave me. please pray for me am finding it difficult to move on. pray for God to bless me with twins and wipe my tears.

It is well sis. Like Job, God will restore all lost unto you and give u a testimony soon.

My dear, God will help us. If you carry out some research, you will get some results discouraging additional iron and zinc in pregnancy.

This is why you see pregnacare original stating boldly in the front that it contains moderate iron and zinc.

Anyway, stick with what your doc suggests. I'll discontinue with extra folic acid at 12 weeks and add other supplements as the doctors recommend.

wow.. That's a wonder o. I got the pregnacare today. These docs are just confusing. Mine said that for first trimester, 400mcg of Folic acid is ok, but it's even additional iron i need. So am taking pregnacare original and ferrous until my first trimester is over.

Prime medical consultants is very good, its in cocain estate. First rivers on aba road by first bank bus stop is superb too. Save a life mission hospital off stadium road is very very nice but pricey. Obio cottage hospital in rumuobiakani is good too if you can stand the crowd, cheap too. Happy bumping.

I would recommend Prime at Cocaine Village most companies use them at least i know 2 of my friends that gave birth there.

Secondly, St. Catherine at Transwoji road before slaughter bridge, alot of companies also use them.

There are still many more good hospitals there let's wait for other PH Mamas to chook mouth

Pls, mamas in the house based in Port Harcourt. I need your recommendations on a very good hospitals.I and DH were using Pamo Clinics before now. Of recent their standard has gone down. They are understaffed and have a lot of rude staff. The Doctor there after I had a positive PT never even mentioned anything like prenatal vitamins or Folic acid. Asked me to come register ante natal when i am 12 weeks gone. It was even my personal research on babycenter.com and this thread, that made me know i was supposed to be taking Folic acid and other vitamins. I don't feel safe using them at all, can't risk my first baby with those kind of doctors. Please, kindly suggest the good hospitals you know and have used in Port Harcourt.Thanks a lot.
