But it's all good cos it tells you that your body is preparing well for your baby's needs. Your body is working hard to produce the baby's placenta.

Hopefully, it should get better in d second trimester or even earlier than that. Mine seems more like evening sickness but isn't steady. I can feel good for complete 4 days with huge appetite. When I start worrying that the signs are no longer there, the thing will remember me and take my taste buds or make me feel lazy and sleepy all through.

I'm hoping that yours will give u some breaks in between until 12 weeks when the placenta is completely produced and you start feeling more energetic and better.

Yes, I take pregnacare with extra folic acid. The good thing is that since I'm pregnant, the body will take the one it needs and get rid of the excess.
I am taking it because the doctors were like it doesn't contain enough folic acid. So, instead of stopping it, I started taking extra tablet along with my pregnacare.

I also did Google about it and found that many women did take it with Pregnacare especially for the first 3 months.

But the funny thing here is that we are all trying to act smarter than the oyibos.

I remember when my sister was pregnant with her twins in 2008, all she took was Pregnacare alone all through her pregnancy and her babies turned out great.

There re different views about taking calcium in the first trimester. I know that the basic is that folic acid and maybe that red round tablet that doctors usually write as part of the prescription. That's what my doctor wrote sha. But I'm only taking pregnacare original with folic acid.

I will stop taking the extra folic acid after 3 months and add calcium.
Other sabi mamas will choke mouth for the matter. But you are good with the pregnacare for now.
