TheSuperNerd: No Lemina Goal, No Osimhen brace
Mario Lemina, Gala Teammate of Osimhen having a direct hand in Osimhen's goals climb today is one we cannot script.
If he didnt score, Nigeria wins 1-0 and Osimhen stays on 29 goals. Lemina has really helped pushed Osimhen's legacy forward.
What a brilliant teammate to have. One that pushes you to greatness😁 Which kind trolling be this na? 🤣🤣🤣💔 |

My only anger is that this game went into extra time. Killing the game in 90 mins would have afforded us more time to rest for the finals. |

See, give these Super Eagles their flowers abeg. They've been impressive all game. We somehow managed to kill Bouanga and Auba, and give Gabon the whooping not even Ivory Coast or other teams in their qualifying group could give them. |

Mujtahida: If you read my position as being fatalistic, then you have not understood me or you have a superficial understanding of my position. I'm a realist. You remove A, put B, remove B, put C, remove C, put D, over a period of 30 years, you are still bedevilled by the same problem and yet everybody as is typical of the black race blames others, no one takes responsibility, no one owns up.
I say acknowledge that you, you are the problem. Acknowledge that the disease you glibly criticize when you are outside the system is inside you. I am doing diagnostic work. I'm pointing out the sickness. I never said that the patient should be left to die. I'm only saying that your hypocrisy and self righteousness makes you unaware that you carry the sickness inside you yet when you enter there, you produce the same unpalatable result. It is either you lack sufficient self awareness or you are a deceiver.
Before change or healing comes you must acknowledge the problem. We as Nigerians like to believe that the next man, the other tribe, the other religion, the other region are the problem. I say naa. I've seen enough. You and me, we are the problem. Before God changed Jacob's name to Israel, he asked him, what is your name. In other words God wanted Jacob to acknowledge that he was a liar and a deceiver. Because Jacob was tired of living as a deceiver, he replied "My name is Jacob." He owned up. Only after acknowledging that he was a corrupt man, did God change his name. In Isaiah 6, Isaiah said "woe is me. I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips." It was after he made that confession, that he was purified with tongs of fire.
Nigerians are rank hypocrites. We all are. You tell me you are different yet you produce the same result. I say I don't believe you or anybody or myself no more judging by the results after many years and after many changes in personnel. You say I'm fatalistic. How?
If you say you are different. I say no problem but that is chaff so long as it is mere talk. Other men, of greater stock have said the same thing only to get into the saddle and do the same thing. Therefore, I say I don't want you to tell me you are incorruptible. SHOW ME. DO IT. I'm tired of empty talk and moral preachments by pretenders and naive people. I can't give more than 1 like so let me just give you "1000 likes" in verbatim. 😁 Wonderfully said, as usual. |

Mujtahida: The problem with Nigeria is that NFF no good but the shocking but hard to admit fact is that those complaining and condemning NFF too are no good. Put them there, they will do the same thing!
So whatever NFF does really doesn't bother me if not that this touches on the players welfare. Any body who has followed naija football, knows that perenially this issues of ineptitude and corruption, of unpaid bonuses and scandals dogs every administration of the NFF which proves my point. I was in Secondary school reading newspapers and the complaints were the same. Presidents come and go yet the same problem persist. Does this not tell us something about ourselves which we often don't like to admit - namely that it is we ourselves - you, me, everyone else, without exception - who are the problem of Nigeria?
Someone will soon come and counter me now by saying me oo, I'm not corrupt. Very well said. |
