I am, and honestly its quite the opposite.I love darkskin, and as odd as it might sound I would love to have darker skin.
I would love to have children whose skin is rich with Melanin, I would love them regardless of color..... Fortunately both of our mothers are dark, and his father is dark aswell, so when we produce, the children can come with any color from light yellow to Milk chocolate brown.

I'm light, but my Mom is dark so I've always appreciated deeply toned skin....USed to Love Dark Brown skin, until I met the love of my life who is a Perfect Medium Brown.....like to toasted almonds ....He's darker than me, but light enough to have freckles all over, and I love it!!!!!

Wow...beauty standards and percwption are vastly different here in the states...
Op does not have a pointed nose, but she gives that illusion by posting photos from the side of her face as opposed to the front......

My fiance can cook extremely well, and I love it. IM American, and before I met him,I hadn't eaten let Alone cooked any Nigerian or Igbo food. Before introduction to his Mom and sisters, he taught me how to make Stew,Suya,Moi Moi,Chin Chin and some soups......After meeting NNe,she taught me how to make it perfectly,but was impressed with what I already knew.....

He loves cooking,but expects me too cook most of the tI me.Atleast I know in the future ,I can count on him to make a decent meal at least twice a month.

I'm 5'10.I love being tall, and heels accentuate that.My bf is 6'5 , so unless my heels are 6 inches or more, I'm still shorter than him.It all works out

In the first place you don't even know why she wants to stop loving him, you only addressed it on the basis of if he hurt her, what if he didn't, what if he's the sweetest thing since pounded yam and oha... Maybe she's loving the guy from a distance and the guy doesn't even have the faintest whiff of her existence.. Wouldn't consider her fat, maybe chubby, but it doesn't look like she's shapely which sometimes negates a persons size if they are proportioned well

Im sure the different perspective relate to our environments, the range of skin color in said environments, and how skin shades are percieved.In the states you can be black and be as light as a white person.Here, there are Asian, Hispanic, and Middle eastern people who are darker than many black people.
I would definitely consider you medium brown, like the man im photographed with.Not dark, but not light either.......funny enough I've heard a few Igbo ppl refer to him as light skinned.

This is light skin.Atleast where I'm from this, a few shades warmer, and lighter is what we consider lightskin. The man in the pics is probably considered "light" by your standards, but I would say he's medium

Joenice: Hey girl, ugly Mexican girls can be classified pretty in Nigeria. You need to see these Mexicans. Though I haven't been in a relationship with any but my friend did. The only problem is that they're high maintenance and you must take them to night club every weekend, even sometimes weekdays, their lives really suck. I don't like that kind of life style. Too much clubbing is bad. So I declined to have one.

toi make a good point....but that is NOT what I'm saying.I'm speaking strictly about looks.There are ugly women and beautiful women EVERY WHERE.....There may be some places who produce women who are generally thought of as esthetically pleasing, but they still have their ugly ducks as well.I'm simply stating that there's is no way to say one country has more beautiful women than the other.

There are beautiful and unattractive women in every country, of every culture, and of every ethnic background..........there is no comparison of one countries women to the next....
Though to be honest, my sister in laws and mommy in law are the only beautiful nigerian women I have seen in person here in the states.....yet I haven't seen Every nigerian woman here
