I need your help and advice.
My two weeks old and some days baby would not just sleep in the night. Like starting from 10pm till like 4am.....he won't sleep, he would be crying. When I breastfed him, he would do as if he is sleeping but once I put him to bed, he start to cry . I can rock him for hours. He won't blink an eye. He can breastfeed like 2 hours at a go.
Its frustrating. I hope someone can relate with what I'm saying. Please what can I do.
I thought new born will just eat and sleep.
And also the way his nose sounds like someone that has catarrh but nothing is coming out from the nose oooo.
I need help. HELP A FIRST TIME MUM

Since my baby started this Tom brown, her poop is new extremely so strong, sometimes it comes out like stone, i give her water before and after every feed, though sometimes she hardly drinks after feeding.also, She take 120ml of the Tom brown 2-3 times a day, i think its too small, the highest she has eaten is 150ml, dunno how to increase her appetite, also heard that i should give her vitamin D now DAT she has started semi-solid.

Dear ladies in the house. Good morning. I have been following you silently but today I have to speak out because I have an emergency.

I have had 2 miscarriages in first trimester and one living child who is 4 years old.

The last miscarriage was in November last yea. I started having sever back pain and spotting from the day I missed my period till 12 weeks. The scan kept showing that the baby was 1week behind. The baby finally stopped growing at 8.5weeks. I don't know if there was ever a heartbeat because the sonographer in the hospital was always saying there was a heartbeat. It was only when I went to an external Ultrasound that they told me The baby was already dead and not growing.

I am 7 weeks and 4days pregnant today. I also started having back pains from the day I missed my period. I saw some smelly brown clots on at 5weeks 1 day. I was put on cyclogest. The pain went and came back again at 6 weeks. Gestone was added and the doctor said he suspects an infection and gave me antibiotics. I also had a culture that same but when the result came out, there was no bacteria infection only yeast. The pain stopped when I toook gestone and antiobiotics and came back at 7weeks with red bleeding.

I am back to the hospital and I am on admission. I feel the doctors are not doing a good job. One doctor came and and put me on glucose and saline drip 1 litter. My temperature went from 36.7 c to 34.88 c. I started complaining and they said it's nothing. When the drip finished they wanted to add more Glucose drip, I asked them to please do me a casting blood sugar and they found out my sugar level was now 205mg/dl. The nurse was still trying to force me to take the glucose drip. I refused and called for the doctor. That was when the now gave me on saline. The sugar then came down to 70 after 3 hours. 1 hour later it went up to 90 again. Mind you I have not eaten anything.

So my sugar has been going up without any food.

The pain in my back is getting worse. They were giving me painkillers before but I stopped because I I found out that it's an opiod.

Pls can someone recommend a good doctor in Lagos that can handle high risk pregnancy. I have pcos

Congrats once agin..May God bless your lo..It seems we had similar issue...All thanks and Glory be to Almighty God everything ended fine.. As for stooling, try making everything u want to eat soft and in pasty form, like ur semo should be abit watery, ur rice should be very soft and so on... My doctor gave me the green light on taking beverages and food on the third day... Take more fruits and vegetables..

As per softening stool issue, I think fruits and vegetables work better than water. Also eat light and soft meals no bread too.
For me vegetable prepared fresh every other day, boiled eggs and I also drink poroporo (guinea corn stalk infusion )(bought from those women selling agbo stuffs) , Folic acid ,vit c and astymin has boosted my pcv.

After my CS, I had to take lots of fruits cos d Dr warned me DT my system may be constipated.

My 1st poop was terrible and I almost cried....but eventually it eased off.
Watch what u eat and easy on the carbs for now. Drink as much water as u can, it help wt poop and bm too

There's nothing wrong with drinking cold water, in my antenatal class, they told us the colder the better. As for ice, that was my major addiction. I think it's just old wives tales. It's just mean to ask a pregnant woman not to drink cold things, when you are permanently hot.

I actually went there myself but I did not do the scan. The place looked unkempt and the lady I met(she looked and acted like the receptionist) said she will be the one to d scan. I was uncomfortable to pay that amount in an environment like that. No form of professionalism.

If you call them, they'll tell you 15k but when you get there, you'll pay 7.5k. I wasn't really satisfied with what I got from them. Just one pics, no video, nothing too special. My baby face wasn't even clear enough. My hubby was angry I went all d way from island to ikeja for that nonsense. I spent about 14k cab fare inclusive plus about 2 hrs traffic on that Maryland-ikeja way that I was beyond exhausted when I got there. On getting there, the lady that acted as receptionist was d one that did d scan. After d whole stuff, I quietly collected d pics because I was too tired to even complain.
My dear, if you can get a good sonographer to that will do scan for you with even 1d for a cheaper amount with less stress, please do.
This is my personal experience. If anyone doubt me, I'll snap everything including d receipt and put it here. I paid lesser amount at Mecure, got 2 pics and better experience.
