1. When I am pregnant I usually have this pelvic joint pain and a very severe one through out the pregnancy though I still manage to go to work and still do some house work the body can accommodate. But my hubby feels I am pretending. So each time he comes home and things are not done he keeps yelling at me that I am lazy and compare me with other women around.
he is the type that does not lift a pin. After I delivered I was discharged 6dAys later and I went to my mom's and stayed there for another six days.
I had to leave my mums cos I couldn't bear to see her struggle to walk and do other thing cos of the state of her health. Now my mother in law didn't come until the grand daughter that is living with her had post jamb to write and her centre was close to my house so they came 5wks after I delivered and left. 2days later. Meanwhile when my brother inlaws wife put to birth my mil came immidiatly she heard the news and lived with me since my BIL house is not big enough to accommodate her. So I was the one going to the mkt and cooking all the food for both MIL and BIL wife. And when I dared to complain my hubby told me that I am just jealous cos she gave birth to a son and I lost my own son that why I am bursting with jealousy. And because of the stress I lost the pregnancy I was carrying. And I prayed my heart out and God blessed my with another son.
Since the day one after my CS I have been the one taking care of my daughter and newborn son. After I was discharged my younger sister went back to her husbands house cos she is newly married and pregnant. When hubby came to pick me from mumsies house she had to beg him to assist me as I am not strong enough to do chores cos of the kind of delivery I had. Indid he helped for 2days to boil water and sweep the parlour only. After the 3rd day making it day 15 after delivery I had to do everything for myself. Cook bath the kids, wash clothes keep late night to look after baby and even do school runs. And after doing all that the scare begins to pain me and when I complain he sees it as pretence. At one month he entered the house with his friends and the clothes I packed from sun was on The chair plus I have not swept for that day in the process of putting baby to sleep I dosed off. And what I heard him telling his friends is it is only in my house u can see things like dis. I felt bad and the next day I decided to mub and scrob the floor. When he walked in he said that this is how is house should look like all the time.
That day I suffered pains from the CS scare for a whole week but I still had to look after the kids. He shouts when the house is not tidy. I had to carry the baby on my back to clean and cook for the family. Though sometimes he carries the baby but when he starts crying I must carry him and do what I am doing.
For the past 4days my son has been crying fir nothing. I took him for a massage and things didn't change. Just dis evening when the boy started crying I was cooking when he ordered me to carry the boy.and started complaining of how I make him carry the boy, that his sister carried her children by herself. I call myself a mum and cannot find solutions to the baby's cry. That I am so lazy I cant take care of the house etc.
In all dis the scar is still paining me and my doc keeps saying it is stress that is making it pain me and my hubby keeps calling me lazy, All he does when he is around is sleep, watch tv and hang out with friends. I am really loose my mind. I don't know what to do.

ha u forgotten what. what doctor adviced when they discharged u? Abi they didn advice u not to do any strenous work an not to lift any thing heavier than ur baby. Mind u u ha an I cut too d yet to heal, u h to stay off hom shore i.e do absolutely nothing Dan carry ur baby, sleep eat and bath that's if u value ur life my sister internal bleeding is not good oojust form fainting let them gi u 1month bed rest if u h to do it in the hospital do it please don let that I kill u ooo u need at leas good 5 month to stay off house chores. Please oooo ur children needs u alive God help u

Good morning house. I have some questions for experienced mamas.
1. How fast does lactation start after delivery for both cs and normal delivery? Because I read online that it takes a few days, does it mean I need to buy baby milk ahead, for the baby to feed on till my milk comes in
2. Is there a way of knowing if I will lactate fast? I have heard some women leak before delivery, I am 31 weeks plus 3 days and yet to notice any leaks.

your mode of delivery does not decide ur milk flow. Some pple lactate before delivery I think body defers I had cs and was able to feed lo the following night ur baby will be d one to call out d milk even if milk is not coming out just let lo keep sucking the more lo sucks the earlier chance to lactate

Seems this is the season, my 20months old boy has been battling with it for over one week now, he probably got it from his father.

I have been sucking it out cos the nose now runs like tap. I can't handle him for steaming again.

I would have recommend the steaming for you, but this one that baby is 6weeks, I fear. Just make sure he/she is not dehydrated, breastfeed from time to time.

Also, I don't know if he/she is too young to take palmoil mix with sugar. cc: zaynie

Yeah. Formula feeding isn't stressful at all!
She can even teach her hubby or anyone staying with her how to prepare it and then she will rest too.

My son has been formula fed since he was 3 weeks old and his poo has never been hard. And he's healthy.

mine started wen he was 4wks and no qualms at all

If she wants to introduce formula, she can do so without it being stressful. Sterilizing is not stressful. Checking temperature and preparing the formula isn't stressful either.

me I no dey even check temperature b4 I give lo formula and I use hot water to sterilize and his poo is not hard lo will b 6wks on wed.

I forgot to add that two days now, I noticed small puss from baby's ears. I was told because i breastfed him while lying down. I'm kind of worried though his six weeks clinic is on Monday. And he has had this kind of eye clog *something like puss* coming out of his eyes. I have tried br.east milk a little, it didn't work. Anyone with same experience?

apply lil red oil using cotton bud on the lower part of his eye lid like u are applying tiro do dat religiously for 3days n u see improvement then u can drop ur breast milk in his eyes directly frm ur breast.

As a new mother, I totally enjoyed molfix. I loved it o.
But now, Just imagine.
The thing looses anyhow.
I even went to take lessons on how to wear diaper, still no improvement. Maybe it's because I bought oversize sha.

I went to the mart where I buy stuff for my girl and Rema100 wasn't available. I settled for molfix and was grinning from ear to ear that I have saved better money.
Ohhhh, had I known.

Even the way the thing absorbs, the gel just scatter scatter inside the place holder.

my dear wen doc says bedrest it means u can't get out of ur bed except u want to go to d bathroom or eat, u have to be on ur bed 247 forget abt cooking or doing any house chore if ur husband is not been supportive Abeg go ur mama house for D main time miscarriage will not be ur portion in jesus name amen God forbid anything happen u will be affected most oooo. My pregnancy was the roughest to say the least....after a 12 year break....with an EDD of July 26, I was just counting down and could not wait for all the preggie symptoms to disappear!! My hubby and two daughters aged 14 and 12 were my strongest support ever.

I moved to a new country just last week, resumed June 1 and luckily hubby came along to settle.me down. Only for the second jigijigi to occur throughout this pregnancy to take place two nights ago and low and behold, my waters broke and I poured all night.....I was crying all through and hubby blamed himself all night for initiating

Fast forward to yesterday morning, reported to the hospital that had been recommended to me in my new city of abode, and for the scan to reveal that there was little or no amniotic fluid left o....inmediate management was to bring my baby out ASAP...at 33 weeks plus 2 days o.....via CS as they didn't even want to risk a vaginal delivery to avoid trauma or infection to baby. Despite my being a medical doctor, I cried myself silly and have been worried all night about possible complications of delivery at this stage including the possibility of a NICU stay for baby and my fear of CS as my first two were vaginal at 37+ May I advise at this point not to let too much Google mess up our heads.....I read up the good, bad and ugly and was scared silly . I was given steroid shots to aid baby's lungs and also commenced on prophylactic antibiotics and CS scheduled for 1300 hours today. To God be all the glory my people, following start of surgery, baby was our in roughly 3 minutes and yelled his lungs out. On examination by the receiving paediatrician, we were informed he had a fantastic Apgar score of 9, all was good and there was not the slightest indication for NICU stay for even a second....my people.....I was shedding tears on the surgery table of gratitude to God for His mercies indeed last forever

Baby is sleeping peacefully right now, I am still on an adrenaline high and wide awake....what more can I ask for an early 40th birthday present?

though I learnt not all babies have colic and am so hoping my lo is one of dem..

all babies have colic (it has to do with babies digestive system adjusting to there new world, moreover there navel is not completely closed) because they all have digestive system it's a phase dey will pass thru till 3month max but dey all react to it differently, it will start d moment ur baby cord fall off although some babies own is not as tough as others they will only cry for few minute. Wen ur baby feel discomfort just place ur hand on his tommy for few seconds u will even feel his tommy movement. She no tell me ooo actually she sells it elders no dey review their secret.

yes natural remedy it really relief him ever since my ds started taking it I never experience d cry cry thing he only grumbles for few seconds and go back to sleep.. what's zizi root?

Sorry dear u can try letting her sleep on ur chest while u lay on the bed but don't sleep off ooo as the thing dey sweet person sometimes when I tried it we both sleep off only to wake up and realise his still on my chest
