To all gurus in the house.
I came into the UK as a student in January and would like to bring my kids in July. Would it have any effect on their application while applying for the post graduate visa?

Someone said they must have stayed for one year by the time of application which is not feasible cos my BRP is valid until May 2023

I'll appreciate any help with this

Merry Christmas to everyone. Thanks to @sirwellington for guidance. I submitted my application last Wednesday here in Dubai but please I have two questions.

1. I submitted my application but my sponsor who's the main application will just be having Biometrics on 4th January. IS THERE ANY IMPLICATION FOR SUBMITTING BEFORE MAIN APPLICANT? she could not get earlier date at ikeja TLS other than 4th.

2. I discovered today that we forgot to upload pof as supporting document for our son who has Biometrics on 6th January, WHAT CAN WE DO PLEASE?

You probably chose 'yes' at the beginning of the application form where you were asked if you'll be staying in Isle of man etc.
I'll suggest you start a new application and make sure you choose 'no' option for the question

Thanks for your response, yes the school does require pof for CAS issuance. I didn't start my pof earlier because of the uncertainty about eventually getting a firm place in the school so as not to waste pof charge fee if I didn't get an offer eventually.

Pls relax, the best you can do is to wait for the school's response. Also I have read on this platform that students have submitted statements that is less than 28days to some schools and still got CAS. My suggestion is for you to wait, if no response when CAS deadline is near, print and send to them

No date for self service at Abuja and I kept checking every 10 minutes since Friday because I don't want to pay for flexi and self service. The tfare to Abuja alone is too much.

So now I just saw some dates released for January 19th for self service. Meaning I can upload my documents by myself and just pay for flexi

Why pay for flexi? With flexi you'll have to keep to the date, only the time is flexible.
I'll advice you choose available day, then go there at any day of your choice for walk in. Walk in costs 42k and I don't advise you go for walk in on a Friday.

Hi I filled that I was going to rent private housing upon arrival. I then mentioned some locations of interest that were close to my school and that I had researched housing costs and access to transportation and that it would be convenient for my schooling to rent anywhere in the mentioned areas. This was my truth, no lies. Myself and my husband got our visas and we are here, I started classes in October.

Yes. Pls note when you are booking your flights that you can only land in Heathrow and Birmingham Airports if you are from red list countries.

The funny thing is I got there around 5:30pm yesterday, and I was told they have closed. I showed them my appointment letter and the security were seriously pleading on Rain’s behalf that if I’m a gas person now, I will sue them andRain will loose his job. Rain is the one who gave the appointment. Was told to come back on Monday and I will be attended to immediately. I think someone dealt with them with this same issue before.

So sorry about that. I did mine on Thursday 4th. My spouse had an issue, had to redo the xray and was told he has to come back for the cert cos it's almost closing time (@around 3:45pm). My mind went straight to your post and wanted to update you that it must have been an error because I believe you don't stay in Lagos based on your post about accommodation, but I couldn't cos I was banned for one flimsy reason. I felt bad as I read your post this morning.
