Hello guys, anyone familiar with Coventry University college, i submitted an application there for a top up degree in combined engineering, i studied Mining Engineering in my undergraduate. i have not had a positive response as i am been asked if i took certain courses in my undergraduate.

They should be able to figure out from your transcript.

Did you include your transcript in the application?

I am only making references to them as only universities offering subsea engineering. Of course, you can do same, and understand the strength of the universities offering your course.

Oh Okay sir.

As far as I'm concerned I love every aspect of economics, from international to monetary that's why it has become so difficult for me to decide on which. So I went for MSC Economics.

I want to study the one that will Land me in IMF/World Bank/CBN and co.

thanks for the advice.

The best way of choosing university is for one to look for area of specialization. There are only five universities that offer subsea engineering, such as: Strathclyde, Aberdeen, Robert Gordon, Cranfield and Newcastle. It's from these universities anyone who wants to study this course can choose from. It is best to understand the strength and specialization of these universities rather going to school that doesn't offer my choice.

I appreciate. But I'm not going for Subsea Engineering.

Oh.. Great!
I've got no problem with the sponsorship letter. Thanks so much bruh

No, not an international organization

OH, As per the Tier 4 guidance you might struggle hard to convince the VO about the genuineness of this your sponsor.

But I'm sure you're better of moving this fund into your own account to avoid stories.

Justwise over to you.

Morning fam

I need you guys to help me on this

If a company sponsors my maintenance fees (cash in the company's account), won't I have a problem with the VO?

NOTE
*All documents are intact
*Tuition fees waived
*The cash can't be moved to my account or parent's

You might need to provide a sponsorship letter issued by the sponsor.

Is it an international organization?

Hi guys
In a situation where the Tuition fees have been paid in full, should the account only have the maintenance fees only or I would still need to show proof of school fees
Thanks

No. only your 28-days maintenance fee is required.
The proof of school fee is already stated on your CAS

Which Uni are you heading?

Hey, I checked the university rankings and University of East Anglia is way up there compared to loughborough University. And 9000 pounds is way much lesser than 10,700. Trust me going to a highly ranked university has a satisfying edge, it's entirely up to you sha.

Exactaly Steven.

But I'm only thinking at the Specialization area.
What do you think?
which uni are you going?

Ranking is great. But as an Economist I know Economics has a lot of branches and an MSC Economics isn't specialized at all. And although 10700 is much it depends on you. But I feel blending it with Finance would greatly widen your career prospects. Good luck

I really appreciate your post on this.

However, East Anglia offers a vast range of courses in Economics such as devlp, media, experimental, behavioural etc.

But I really don't know which one is best for me that's my reason for going for MSC Economics.
I guess I can still change my course when I have a bigger and clearer picture.

A 7400 scholarship from Loughborough university to Study Msc Economics with Finance , Actual fee is 18,100 and -7400= 10,700 (Outstanding balance)
And

A 6000 scholarship from university of East Anglia to study Msc Economics, Actual fee is 15,000 and - 6000 =9,000 (Outstanding balance)

I think you're better off having the money in your account. That's the easiest and least complicated way for you. if not, you'd need your birth certificate listing your mum as your mum, a letter stating that she's sponsoring you and granting you permission to use her account and all documents that prove that she's the same person who's listed as your mum on your birth certificate. This could include divorce/marriage certificates, change of name documents, affidavits etc.

@mimi, thanks for your timely response, it was very helpful.

Good evening...

@Justwise, worry and et al, please I have a question concerning the Maintenance Fund. my mom recently divorced my dad in Nigeria and remarried in the UK but she now bears her father's name not her new husband's name.

The issue now is she wants me to use her UK Bank account for the 28 days maintenance bearing in mind that we don't bear same surname as she bears her father's name on her bank Account.

Please should I go ahead to keep the money in her account and use her as my sponsor because its almost impossible for her to wire the money into my account in Nigeria due to the charges.

please help me throw more light

Good day bosses in the house!

Please kindly throw more light into this for me....

Is it possible to use a provisional transcript plus attestation letter for visa application?

Is it 100% compulsory you get your Bsc Certificate ready before you apply for your visa application?

I'm asking because I'm presently in my final year and starting my second semester final exams next week and will be ending with the whole BSc by April 27 but certificate will be released after graduation around next year... Unfortunately my school delays in releasing results, the result might be released around late July, should I still continue with it...

NB: I've been conditionally admitted already by Westminster but they are willing to issue unconditional admission letter to me If my University's Registrar can provide an attestation letter.. Can I apply visa with attestation letter issued by my school?

Please a good Samaritan should please answer...
God bless

My Fear: In the event of the worst case senerio can I apply for visa with my transcript without Certificate

But is being a 4 th year student sufficent ties to get a visa? I know not.
When can u apply? ASAP. It dosent add or take away from anything though you can't be going for a wedding next december and applying now. Just apply withing reasonable time. 6 months is ok sha for me

Many thanks General
