That's good then. I applied on the 10th of August.

@Ellizle, we're almost on the same boat. I used Ikeja priority, did biometrics on 15 August.
But let's hope for the best by next week.

Thank you very much for the fast reply. I intend to pay for Super priority. I will declare the visa refusal just like I did last year. Hopefully everything goes well. Thanks again.

Sure. You'll certainly be fine. Plus prayers too.

Hello. I have a situation. I applied in 2015 for a tier 4 visa to study in the UK. I got refused due to insufficient funds (The real reason is that I didn't leave the money in the bank for 28 days). So I applied again last year (2016) without fast track and was granted a visa. I did a foundation programme so the visa only lasted for a year. Now this year, I want to apply again for another tier for a visa which lasts for the whole 3 years of my course. I want to find out if it is possible to fast track without my refusal slowing down the process.

Yes it is very possible. Sadly Fast tracking isn't guaranteed these days because of the highly peaked period. I would suggest if your resumption date is around the corner, I fear you might request that your school gives you about 3weeks of extension starting from the date of submission and biometric, then you can go ahead to purchase priority. You should be fine that way. Otherwise just purchase Super priority that has a 24 hours decision timeline but costs £919.
Note that, your previous visa refusal won't affect you in anyway so long as it is declared on the Visa form.

My earnest prayer is that myself and everyone should get decision mail soon enough. Meanwhile Today is my intended travel date.

Well. There's nothing God cannot do!

If you don't get any feedback as per your decision today/tomorrow, I think you should call them but note that the contact staff might or might not have the info yet because my own GWF number is still not recognized on the tracking site.
But I just got a decision mail from TLS. TLS site updated to decision made. I'm awaiting the collection mail. Nothing from Sheffield.
Online submission: July 16
Biometrics and interview: July 19 at TLS Ikeja

Wow! Congratulations on this note. Can't wait for your Visa Approval news.

Good morning @justwise. I have read all of the posts on this thread, literally from the first of 200+ pages. All I can say it has supplied me with more than sufficient information that will able acquire a study visa to the U.K. I have one enquiry to make please, and I hope you will give me an appropriate answer.

I obtained an ATAS certificate for my MSc programme in late July. While going through the course details on the university website recently, I found out that the modules for the programme have been updated. There has been an increase from 6 to 8 modules (and obviously there was a little change in the name of one of the already existing modules). The problem here is that only the 6 modules prior to the update are shown on my ATAS certificate, hence it will be like 2 have been omitted.

I emailed the postgraduate admissions office of my school and they said that won’t be a problem. My concern is whether the visa office will notice and penalize me for such a discrepancy. As I am most likely going to apply for a visa when some things are sorted out in the next two weeks, do you think I should inform the visa office about that mistake during my interview? Or should I just keep mum about it since it is a negligible and non-deliberate mistake? The school kept saying that the modules listed on the ATAS certificate are okay and there is no problem at all.

Thank you. I look forward to your reply, and the beneficial input of any other follower of this thread.

I believe your UNI should know best than anyone here. There won't be a problem since they have said it.

Make sure those other stuff are sorted soon enough and apply, because delay could be dangerous.

Then you can submit your statement of result but ensure you include an explanation on why you're are using this instead of your certificate.

What will happen to someone who did not include explanation of any sort but went ahead to submit Transcript as long as stated on CAS letter?

hi Thonybayo from the posts on nairaland cumulus and you both got decisions and collection mails on their 29th and 30th working day respectively as i calculated it with my calendar this week friday will make it my 30th working day so im hoping mine will be this week because on the ukvi website 98% of applications are finished within 30 working days and 91% in the 15 working days they say in the mail sent. You applied on the 10th at the ikeja vac just 3 working days before me and we both didnt use priority!

I was going to put in another call in 2moro but will not because im hoping and believing it will be this week.

Best regards

Bros please how much does it cost to contact them via mail or is it at no cost?

Secondly, an agent Told me last week that is not all student visa application they organise interview for? I was like hmmm...

Yes, there's usually no interview for courses lesser than 6 months, and that falls under short term student visitor.

i just received this mail today

Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

If you have made a Settlement application (except for applications lodged in USA and Canada): you must ensure that your UK sponsor has sent all relevant supporting documentation to the UK Decision Making Centre in Sheffield. The documents should be arranged in this order: application form and relevant Appendix* (See below); English language evidence; relationship documents; maintenance documents; accommodation documents. If documents are not received a decision will be taken on the basis on the information that has been provided.

If you have already had your supporting documents scanned in at the Visa Application Centre, or if you have already sent them in to us, please ignore the request for documents.

Please note that UKVI aims to complete all Visit Visa applications within 15 working days and all Settlement Visa applications within 12 weeks of the application date. If it is not possible to complete your application within this timeframe a member of our team will contact you to explain why.

If you have paid for Priority Service, your application will be placed in front of the queue and assessed ahead of other non-priority visa applications. As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fees, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed.

We regret that we are unable to respond to enquiries asking about the status of any application. Any status enquiry should be made to the international enquiry service, details of which are on the GOV.UK website. Staff at Embassies, visa processing centres and visa application centres cannot assist with visa enquiries. You may also wish to view the current processing times for applications made in your country.

A further email will be sent to you to confirm when your application has been assessed and dispatched. If your application was made in a Visa Application Centre, the staff there will contact you when your documents are ready – please do not attend the Centre until you are requested to do so.

Lol.
When did you apply, and did you purchase priority?

Do you mean someone can withdraw the money after application?

Bros, your best bet is to keep the money in your own personal account to have a smooth and seamless visa application. Plus you still have enough time to count 28days if time is an issue. Just be safe.

Guys , please I need your help.

Please has anyone removed their maintenance money from their accounts before their visa came out?

I didnt have a choice, I had to remove a large chunk of it once I printed out my statement. Some people say they don't ask for the acct balance when verifying, just the authenticity of the account and some transactions.

Kindly help share your personal experience as I'm really anxious.

Though I've heard people got their visas despite the removal, but then its very risky for you to do that.
