I’m an Arsenal fan and Arsenal don’t deserve champions league in fact I would rather they don’t play europa as well.

This is the type of match that Arsenal are good at losing or drawing.

Especially when they need it the most.

If it was 15 matches to go they will win this match comfortably

If they win this one they will Bleep up against Everton

UpperRoom:
Rubbish. What the Super Eagles team need is a passionate indigenous coach. All these foreign coaches are just here for the money. They don't have strong zeal and passion for the team to succeed.

Have you asked why clubs like Chelsea gave lampard a chance, Manchester united gave Ole a chance, Arsenal gave Arteta?
Simply because first they know that these people aside their technicality are passionate about their teams success.
In football its all about who wants it more. Passion drives the game. And such passion cannot be bought with money at this stage.
The standard of international soccer for teams that make progress is at club level.

Most national team coaches have European club experience.

Football is now a highly analytical. Juergen kloopp said the other day he had to high neuro scientists to work with this team.

You cannot be on analogue with Nigerian coaches that have refused to improve them selves or even win any African continental cup.

Let the team of 94 win an African club competition first and be active such that North African teams can hire them.

Keshi was active in west Africa with Togo Mali etc
Going thru World Cup and Arvin tournaments and qualifiers with these teams.

RICHOLAC:
I don't wanna sound negative cause I believe in growth, following Peseiro's antecedents as a professional coach, he is simply average. However, he can do well if he takes time and look deeply into our domestic league and the fly Eagles alike; all these overrated foreign players rarely brings nothing short of lacklustry to the game.
In addition, NFF should give him a level play ground to do his business as deemed appropriate by him and his crew, enough of all these bribery and nepotism.
Good luck PepsiErro
There is no coach in this world that will satisfy Nigerians even if u bring Klopp or Guardiola. Who they cannot afford.

Most of this ex footballers are they active coaches non of them are attached to a club learning as a 2nd assistant or something.

Ghana coach Otto addo is an assistant coach at dortmund.

Those set of 94 are all after money let them go and attach themselves to club sides in Europe and be active.

Because u were a great ex player doesn’t make u a good coach.

Maradona coached Argentina and they won nothing

I remembered I watched that particular season Chelsea was knocked out in the semi finals by Monaco and why I made that mistake was because at that time abrahamovich hasn't taken full charge cos he used the squad and coach he inherited that season I talked about. And I think you over emphasized your points. Chelsea were never relegation threatened before abrahamovich came
What year?

My dates can be off so dont hold me accountable.

Maybe not relegation but Midtable the improvement came when they hired Vialli , i have said that already.

Chelsea were already in the top 7 team since 1992 the beginning of premier league long before Abramovich era.

I'm not a chelsea fan though! cool
Champions league the current format started probABLY 1992/1993

back then only 1st would make it to European Cup.

So maybe i exaggerated Chelsea were a mid table team.

Thanks for the correction. I wanted to correct the impression that Chelsea were a relegation team.
I started watching premiership in 92, the first premiership that Blackburn won with Alan shearer. Chelsea were whipping boys. Chelsea started to improve when the former owner hired Gianluca Vialli as coach and Vialli was able to bring Serie A players over like Guilt, Zola Etc.

Back then in the 90s SERIE A was the league and not premiership. They showed Serie A matches on TV especially Sunday with the likes of Maradona playing

Chelsea was a relegation team or bottom of the league side before abramovich money. That is a fact not argument or debate.

Chelsea was never 2nd before abramovich that’s a big lie. They have won the league six times with 5 during abramoivch era.
