Pls they should also arrest this guy. His name is TJ. He came to my site claiming to be LSC consultant. I paid him to bring thr safety signage and he disappeared with the money.
Na you loose guard, next time, request for their ID and ensure you snap the ID.
Ask then who's the DG of their commission or their branch manager, you make them a little uncomfortable by asking important questions.

Romance / "The Impact Of Social Media On Economic Performance And Productivity" by QuinModah(f): 7:23am On Jan 18

How does social media affect our lives?
Wake up in the morning.
Searching for the mobile.
Switch on the Internet.
Looking at status
Waiting for the notifications to appear.
That's how morning life starts nowadays.

Why didn't he respond to my messages?

Why did he hide his last seen?

Why didn't he reply fast when he was online? Is he talking to someone apart from me.

*frustrated*

Oh! The status train.

Why i can't able to see his profile picture? Did he blocked me Or he is depressed?

The blue tick/ single tick problem.

you failed and failed forward, good. But you never got up again or rather you have not gotten up yet. You simply went back to your comfort zone (Pwc). Just that this time with better pay and far better environment. And you may have lost the opportunity to build something great.

Career / I Relocated To US To Start My Career Again - Vincent Adeoba by QuinModah(f): 9:41am On Jan 04
I relocated to the U.S. to start my career again after a short stint transitioning into a full-time entrepreneur, and the experience has been a lifetime experience. It was a fast-tripartite transition from a senior associate at PwC Nigeria to CEO and co-founder at Transtura to an experienced associate at PwC New York, all in one year.

We launched Transtura with a deep conviction that it was what my co-founders and I wanted. We saw a huge gap in the informal transportation value chain in Lagos State, and just like every entrepreneur, we wanted to do something about it. That is our configuration as entrepreneurs; we actively seek opportunities to solve problems.

We began to notice that the product would fail a few months after we launched, but luckily, we didn’t test the deepness of the water with both legs. The challenges were beyond what we could have foreseen. I did a SWOT analysis to identify weaknesses and threats before we launched, but I underestimated the severity of the threats in my analysis.

The challenges were enormous and unsurmountable, from NURTW to LASTMA, the Taskforce, and the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation. It was like everyone wanted us to fail for a reason best known to them. We suddenly realized that the NURTW is more powerful than we thought. Their unholy romance with the Lagos Government makes them believe they can get away with anything.

At a point, over 20% of our daily revenue was going to the NURTW, and we still couldn’t operate without unnecessary interruption. There were days our buses were impounded for hours with passengers inside, and we had to make huge payments before the buses were released. Not to mention the number of times our drivers were assaulted and our buses vandalized by faceless members of the union. The police couldn’t do anything after we made several reports on the incidents.

Nigerian leaders need to understand that Nigeria cannot become a prosperous country by making it impossible for young people who want to contribute to succeed. Those who told us we would fail were right, but I am happy we tried to succeed.

This post is not about giving excuses for a failed product but to encourage young people and entrepreneurs like myself who have failed to understand that there is nothing wrong in failing, especially if you fail forward.

After the not-too-good experience, I dusted my resume and started applying for roles in the Big 4 in the U.S. and I was fortunate to get an offer from PwC New York. The ability to get up from failure is the most defining attribute of every successful person.

As you start the new year, my encouragement to you is not to be afraid to start again. I challenge you to put those failures behind you and use them as a launchpad for your success. I dare you to dream again, and don’t allow your failures to be the reason you will never succeed.

Here's an advise to y'all start your business while working for someone, unfortunately the labor law of Nigeria is non-existent. Start no matter how small, Rome was not built in a day.

Go to Sango Ota, Nassarawa & Ondo and see the modern day slave trade and the government of these states boast of being the industrial state of Nigeria.

Indians, Lebanese, Chinese and some Nigerian have turned Nigerians to semi machine, you need to see these factory workers and you would weep.

Some of the chemicals used are hazardous, no protective gears, some factory workers work with bare foot and hands, a few with slip as a result of the slippery floor and break a leg, an arm or even have internal bleeding as a result of the fall. It's disheartening to see many at them at gate of these factories as early as 7:00am hoping to be picked for a job so as to fend for their family.

Daily pay is less than a $1 and any mistake or latenesses you will never get your full pay, at the end of the day most factory workers resort to stealing from their employers.

I recall few years ago, a member of armed force begging a Chinese man that once he opens his factory he would appreciate if he could talk to his superior to allow him work with the man as an escort.

The truth is, these Chinese, indians and Lebanese understand our system and how corrupt our system is. Explain to me how an Indian man would slap a police officer cry
