Sit your wife down and talk to her about it. See her response and reaction....if she's okay with it, fine, if she's not, try and convince her until she says yes. If she's still adamant, then do what you want to do without her permission, if you want it badly.

No.1 thing I respect my DAD for till today was never beating or even abusing my MUM dou she can make wahala eh....he just gives her d silent treatment..
